Well, nothing happened on the 22nd of November, but...

A few hours ago I found the person I was looking for on facebook! I think I did it using creative visualisation; about five minutes before I made the discovery I tried to imagine as realistically as possible how I would feel if I suddenly came across that person, and I did! Before the discovery I also felt that seeing this person again was destined to happen for a reason and therefore was going to occur. On top of that I have had two prophetic dreams leading up to this event of me finding this person on a MySpace/Facebook kind of website.

There was also this other dream/astral experience I had where I was with this person and I was showing off with what I could do with my astral powers. The problem was that this person was frightened by my abilities and turned into my pet cat and ran off. I went after them and the last I saw of them was the cat jumping over the fence. Before the cat jumped I noticed that instead of having the eyes of my pet cat they had still retained the eyes of their human form and they appeared frightened. To me this is a warning to never tell this person of my psychic abilities as to do so would scare them and make them feel as if they are not on an equal level with me, like a pet cat in society is not on an equal level to a human.

But in all these events to me are a good sign, I now feel more in control of my life and more responsible for the actions that occur within it.

I have set a date (22nd November, 2008) where I expect to meet someone and am currently trying to make the meeting occur simply by believing in it and visualising it regularly. I've tried to make the meeting occur before simply by expecting it to happen, say, sometime later that day but the furthest in my attempt I get is making someone around me mention them, without saying anything myself. This may seem rather amazing but for me it isn't good enough. This is why I have decided to concentrate my energy on a chosen date in the future, so I can build up enough energy until that time for it to work. Does anyone think it is possible to create a prophecy of your choice like this and make it happen purely by putting enough belief energy into it? Has anyone tried something like this and been successful? I have noticed over the past few days after choosing that date and focusing my beliefs that I have been unusually tired, does this mean most of my usual energy is going towards my 'prophecy'?

I have been interested in astral projection and related topics for quite some time now, it all started when I saw a program on TV about near-death experiences and began thinking about what happens after death. I was raised in a family that is non-religious so spiritually I haven't really been taught in any particular direction, and hence tend to make up my theories as I go based on experience. I believe that the deepest level of subconscious is the world we experience and it is here that we are all connected as the first cause, and because of this I think that if anyone believes in something deep enough it is going to come true sooner or later, after all, things that I think deep enough about come true all the time! In my future I hope to learn telekinesis and find true love.

As for my astral experiences, my most exciting once was a dream that turned lucid, in which I flew to the moon. It was brief and I woke before I landed but while I was in it, it just felt so real. I hope to have more of these experiences.

As for age and location I am 17 years old and from Australia, and that's about all I have to say really.

Souls do not perceive things the way we humans do with our very limited awareness and need for Judgments, so soul will choose an experience that we may find horrific, but for the soul it is only a valuable experience... no judgment.

So true. I actually came to this conclusion a few days ago when I was contemplating my existence; we need to experience "hell" in order to realise why it is bad and why we should choose "heaven" instead as our desired path.

To be honest, even though i practice it, but it still doesn't feels right to me. if it is OK to visit the astral plane then why is it hidden from our eyes in the first place? and why is it strongly linked with witchcraft? and why so far there isn't one single working technique to project?-it's pretty much always left to 'chance', who controls these 'chances' ?
I'm not sure but I'm slowly starting to believe that god doesn't approve it. 

Personally, I believe that if practicing OBEs is possible, then there is a reason why this is so and that God would have been capable of stopping us from having OBEs if they weren't in some way necessary to the learnings of the people who experience them. I have had several dreams now where I have foreseen events from the future in a somewhat abstract form, and since I believe that the future is not yet written and therefore cannot be seen I feel that in my dreams I may be reviewing my life and planning out future life scenarios in order to help my spiritual progression without actually realising it. This may be the point of OBEs, a way of planning out our lives so we can maximise our spiritual progression. It makes sense to me that such things would be done in the astral realms, as before we were born did we not choose there what lives we should have and what parents we should be born to in order to make our experience on Earth most worthwhile to our spiritual education? If we make return trips to the astral during our lives couldn't we also be making choices that could assist us in progression? I see purpose in everything that occurs and exists and I don't understand why OBEs would be exempt from having some kind of purpose. As far as I view everything there are no 'accidents', everything is here for a reason, including OBEs.

As for the astral realm being hidden from us before we become increasingly aware of it, this is no different than any learned ability. The astral realm is hidden from us in the same way as the ability to sit at a piano and play "Flight of the Bumble Bee" the first time we touched the instrument. The reason why we have to learn and develop our skills in order to do anything that requires skill is the same reason why we go on this great journey of enlightenment instead of being in heaven the whole time and never experiencing anything else; it is because there would be no discovery in doing that and therefore it wouldn't be rewarding. There would be no point in having enlightenment from the beginning as if we did it would mean nothing.

Whether or not the astral plane is strongly linked with witchcraft depends on whether you wish to use it for witchcraft purposes. I honestly don't see why witchcraft has to be a bad thing either, what if you use it to help someone? It is not the astral plane or witchcraft that is evil or ungodly, it is evil intent from projectors and witches that makes it so. If you wish to use these things for good then I don't see why good wouldn't come out of it.

And as for the chances, maybe there are only certain times that are right or safe for projection, God could prevent an OBE from occurring if it is the wrong time, and since we don't know the right times we can only stumble upon them by chance. Drugs like LSD are more forceful in causing OBEs whatever time it may be, but people have reported bad experiences in the astral after using this drug. If an OBE attempt fails naturally it could be to prevent a bad experience like this from happening.

Well, that's what I think anyway, hope it was somewhat insightful.
