It's more.

Never doubt the power of Google.

1. I think so
2. I can't guarantee they'll remember, but yes.
3. Yes

Note:  You can do all of these things while "awake," too.  It's just a matter of thinking at someone.

I always wanted to find out what my eyes looked like when I did that, but you know, looking into a mirror woulda done no good, lol, and I didn't feel right asking someone.

I use to do that too.

I think it's a result of your putting pressure on your eyes when you roll them up.  Doing that can make you see all sorts of things.  As a kid I used to press on my eyes until this black fog crept up and covered my whole vision.

I don't know why I did that....

A dream is a dream.

Only you can know the real meaning behind it.

Look for familiar settings and/or events.

There can be a thousand different interpretations, but the only important one will be your own.

I've never seen sparks but when I was actually trying to control lightning I would imagine the atoms or ions (not even sure if this is how it works) undergoing a charge in a line down to the earth,  and attracting the bolt.    While I was imagining it, I always had the fact that we can change the world in the front of my mind.

Nowadays, I  just challenge the storm itself, yelling at it (vocally and mentally) and pouring energy into the sky.  I tell it to "bring it," and let it know that I'm its master.

Heh, a year or so ago I heard the name of that book on Coast to Coast and wrote it down, but I haven't actually looked for it yet or seen it anywhere...

The friggin piece of paper is within reach right now, in a drawer under my monitor.

Thanks for reawakening my interest

Well I have had a couple experiences like this..

I don't know what to classify them as, though, and the thought of calling it an OBE truly never crossed my mind.

Well, once, after downing some cough medicine, I had lain down in my bed (understandable).  I know I didn't fall asleep, though.  After a few minutes, I turned on my back, and stared at the ceiling.  I moved my arms, which were above the comforter.  I could feel the threads of my comforter with my left hand, but my right hand felt something different.  It was the carpet, and I'm  assuming the carpet that was laying directly under my bed.  Surprised, I looked at my hand, verifying that it was, in fact, on top of the bed, and not over the side or something.

Another time, more recently, I was laying on my couch, awake and sober.  My right hand twitched.  My arm had been propped up, the hand touching nothing but air.  But when it twitched, I could feel the distinct texture of my baby's (dog's) hair.  A half-second later, my dog came around from the side of the couch where she had been laying, out of my sight.  She walked up to me and just sat, staring.

I never thought of these as OBE's though, mainly because of the fact that my baby felt me touching her.  I think of them as a form of TK, but haven't quite answered the How, nor the Why, which is something I ask of literally everything interesting that happens.

Naw, actually I had no idea that post/thread even existed, and I was responding the the post of yours inside of the thread that I had posted in.

((If ALR was not the "he" you were mentioning, then I am a self-centred wanker, and I apologize.))

I used to think of it Lucky's way without believing that we were gods.  Just as living, conscious beings, whatever we imagined had to have been sent into the cosmos and created somewhere. It was a result of us being awakened.

Later on, though, I came to realize that there's either something higher about humanity, or we deceive ourselves frequently, and at the moment, it's a toss-up between the two, in my mind.

Smoking anything is bad on the body.

There's a school I frequently attend in dreams.  But I think the floor design is different; all one color.

May I ask why?  Why you would smoke marijuana but not take aspirin.

Why is there a difference between man-made and natural drugs, in your eyes?

Your third eye is opening.  Pay attention to what "pops" into your head.  Images, sounds, words, all of these are going to start being received by you.  You might experience some strange moments where you feel you're broadcasting to others, but don't be afraid if this happens, just remember you create your own reality and how you respond to this change is of tremendous importance.

Depends what kind of faith you have.  Which belief.

I believe there are no real sins, no real good or evil.
#17
Fictional final defenses.  Used by some to ensure that they never truly "die," or move on.  Usually the quasi-immortal places their soul within one of these, to escape slipping into the genuine afterlife.

One's soul can't truly be passed on unless you destroy these objects.

No, because the physical world is only a result of our minds.

No, it won't be dangerous but it won't be a real spiritual awakening, either.  [EDITED OUT BY MODERATOR]

Whippits will only make you laugh.  You won't be disconnected from the physical, you won't ascend, you won't go anywhere other than happy-town for 15 seconds.

The old testament kind of has things backwards, or at least from a different perspective.  Greek mythology tells a similar tale, but with different (virtues? protagonists?)

Where god is ticked that we ate the fruit, the ancient greeks are rejoiced.  Zeus is the bringer of knowledge, signified by the lightning bolt he carries.  The serpent is the enlightener, and not the trickster.  Athena is Eve, burst from the head of Zeus-Knowledge.  Cain, is Hephaestus, at first banished because of his deformities, but later revered by Zeus for his loyalty to the knowledge brought out by the serpent's deeds.  Seth (the ancestor of Jesus) is Ares, the god of war, whom everyone despises.

Atlas (the giant holding up the sky) symbolizes the removal of god from our everyday doings.  We are the boss of what we choose to do.

Interesting view, if you ask me.

Then you need to look for more, because 2012 is only the end of a cycle.  A long one, but a cycle, nonetheless.

Maybe because it's the end of the world *as we know it.*

What do you mean compare and contrast magick and religion?  I don't understand.  There are some forms of magick that ARE a religion, so I'm not sure what the purpose/intent of your project is.

Can you please give a couple examples so we can understand you better?

I think his point was, if you make a square based on the limits of the figure drawn by Da Vinci,  and connect the vertices, the exact center lies at the root chakra, the base, the genitalia, the chakra that tethers us to this physical world.

Correct me if I'm wrong, 369, of course.

Is there more?  I thought there'd be more, then I see the "reply" button.

Not everyone, no.  We don't rely on it.  As a whole, we use the Gregorian calendar, the one with months and stuff.

Some people look the Mayan Calendar as a sort of horoscope, though, to see how their day is gonna go, or to see what should be done.. It's kind of smart, because the Mayans were astrologers and recognized the intention and "vibe" of every day.  But you should only use it if you believe in it, because your beliefs shape your reality, and if doubt exists, then chances are you won't allow the calendar to work for you.
This is the one I look at when I need to
