I didn't go. I pretended to be sick. When I returned to school, I soon found out that it was actually an assessment task and I had to complete questions on it, even though I didn't go :(
I basically failed, but what can I do.
Thankyou all for your help though :) It is very kind of you.

Thankyou all so very much for your help.
It is the date of the excursion and I decided to stay home.
I am still place worrying in those on it but I do feel alot safer. You are right, Nostic, I chose to be better safe than sorry.
I am also quite sure that I had the dreams before I realised anything about a cliffside. But I have also been having dreams all my life about falling of the side of a cliff within a vehicle.
But thankyou all for you help, it has helped in putting me at ease.

Hmmm.
1. I actually didn't know them in real life, but would your theories still apply?

2. I did sense great fear when the name first called me, but the second time it called me, I felt relief in a way, like the day was going to be okay. Do you think that maybe I was frightened the first time because I already had the fear within me, though calmed down?
Or do you think that there really is an entity as you described. The concept sounds very interesting.
If your theory is correct, what purpose would the entity have of frightening me? Is there any deeper meaning to it?

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Dream Interpretation?
June 15, 2008, 02:53:52
I must admit I do not have much experience with interpretting dreams, but I would still like to try and help you, as your dream seems very interesting.
Maybe the dream is about death and being reborn. The song could represent transience, the progression of life to death, and if the song repeated, maybe life, death and rebirth as a cycle.
Maybe the land could represent life, and the ocean the phase inbetween death and being reincarnated.
white could maybe show that they are souls, and therefore pure?
The childhood dreams coming back to you may be in association with reincarnation, and choosing what your next life will be. Maybe it is the stage of looking back over everything you have done in your life and what you have wanted to do, and that applies to what will happen in your next life.
I can't think of what "everybody's pain" may indicate.
well, in the end this dream can really only be interpreted fully by yourself, but I hope I have helped :)
Good luck.

I received a score of 26 :(
But do you think that the dreams were just as a warning for this original date of the excursion, or do you think it still may applly to tomorrow?
My gosh, I am so confused. This excursion is very important to as our whole unit is based upon it, but I just don't know what I should do.
Do you think that it is best just in case to not go?

Okay, thankyou very much :)
Lol! I actually just saw it again lol!
But I will take your advice and try not to think of it. Thankyou :)

Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / A name
June 14, 2008, 07:22:35
I keep seeing a name everywhere, many times a day, and I have seen it about twice in the last hour. It is a common name, but I see it more and more.
It may sound silly and maybe childish, but the name is actually of the person I sectrely admire. Therefore, it is very frustrating.
Could this be just a coincidence, or could it have any meanign at all in association with him?
I see the name so often, turning a page in a boojk and it being the first one I see, happening to glance on the credits of the telly, and its there, just everywhere.

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / A voice

1.
This may sound silly, and I am not sure if it is in association with spirituality, but there may be a link.
I have a passion for music, and sometimes I like to compose it in my head. But most of the time when music comes to me, it jsut plays, as if it is already existent, and I do not even have to think about it for it to exist. It just happens. But the strangest thing is, the voice in the songs (I can hear a voice but can't make out the lyrics, they must be still processing or something within my mind) is dull and quiet, like my song already exists and is being played a bit muffled yet all other instruments are clear.
But the voice, I can actually identify, and it isn't mine, even though this is all created myself. If I say who the voices belong to you will probably all life, so I will just say they are two deceased men who were and still are incredibly famous and have deep meaning in my life.
Are the voices' of theirs just like that because those people mean alot to me, or are they somehow spiritually channelling through to me?

2.
A while back last year, there were a very traumatic experiences within my family, and I eventually couldn't take it and my method of coping changed. I was in my room trying to block out the noise with my ipod, but I didn't cry as usually. I openned my eyes as my body felt strange, and I was shaking furiously, and I couldn't stop. I tried but it wouldn't work. Eventually, it calmed down with the help of a particular song which strangely always happens to have some spiritual experience with. Anyway, so I eventually went to bed, and I felt incredibly warmth of somebody's breath come up to my right cheek, and wait for a while. Then it slowly went away. Ten to the left of me I heard my name whispered harshly but quietly. I got such I fright! I was frozen! Then I heard it again, louder, but softer in tone, and it went away.
I hadn't heard it again, but a few months ago whilst at work on a busy and stressful day, I heard it again, but just once. It wasn't any customers or co-workers.
Could this be my gaurdian angel?

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Deja vue in dreams
June 14, 2008, 06:56:31
I have experienced that before. whilst in the dream, usually a bad one, you experience deja vu, and know what is going to happen, therefore you act towards preventing it from occuring in the dream.

Please help me!
I am going on a school excursion this coming Monday to a national park in the cliffs a bit from where I live.
But before I even realised that we would be driving on the edge of a cliff in a bus, I had dreams that weren't like others. I was in my school uniform travelling on a bus up in the trees (which I now know is the rainforest I am going to) and we were on train tracks though. There were all these billboard cards with special quotes on them, but I can't remember what they said.
Anyway, when we came to a certain turnpoint in the canopy I knew that we were going to fall off the edge, and I panicked and quickly thought of my loved ones, and then we fell down the great height and everything went black.
Then I had other dreams about being in a car and falling of a cliff. I have had a few of them.
Then, it came closer towards the original date of the excursion, and they said we would be travelling on the cliff's edge. All of a sudden these dreams came back to me and scared me so much, I decided I wasn't going to go on the excursion, as it was rainy and I had this clear vision of the bus falling off the edge. So whilst at home the day before, the phone rang and the teacher had thankfully cancelled it.
Could this mean anything, and now the excursion is being held this Monday, and I am still frightened that the dreams mean something. Do you think that they just meant as a warning as to the excursion being cancelled, or should I continue to follow the dreams and not go to the park?
Please help me! I really need to decide, I am very frightened!
Sorry about the length as well :(

Okay, I will next time I experience them in that state. But is it normal to experience them whilst not in a hypnotic state. Sometimes I see these images and sounds whilst I am wide a wake and thinking or walking around or something. I don't have to be in a relaxed state or near sleep to see them. Could it still be linked towards OBEs?

Yes, it I think it is similar to that. I am always in a field, sometimes the weather is different, but it is always using overcast, sun set or sometimes so sunny that the sky is orange and I can feel the warmth from it's rays. I also find that I think I can only enter it whilst listening to music. Does anybody else find this?
I have more questions too, sorry ^_^
Do other people experiences whilst they are on the edge of sleep sounds or music they are thinking of, but soudns as though it is actually being played in the ears, rather than usually music playing in the head? I have asked some other people and they believe it is hallucinations :o
Can anybody help me further on what the reason for this is?

Welcome to Dreams! / Images
April 23, 2008, 01:55:49
Sometimes when I am on the edge of sleep images appear before my eyes, even if they are open. But it more so happens when I am actually awake and up. They flash in front of my eyes in a split second, but I am left with vivid memories of certain images.
Do other people experience this?

Welcome to Dreams! / Dreaming Awake

Sometimes I go into a strange state of mind, which I usually go into when I am deeply upset or sad.
My body is alseep but I have two minds. One mind is in the room and fully aware of every detail of my surroundings including all senses. However, my other mind is in a completely different place, that I have never been to before but feel as though I remember it. I can even feel the warmth from the sun in this strange place. It is a difficult concept to explain. Say for example, somebody knocked on my door whilst I was in this state, I would be able to answer immediately, then other times I choose to ignore and stay in the state.
Does anybody have any idea what this could mean, and whether it is normal or considered and out of body experience?

Today was the first day I have actually focused on projection, and I think I felt the vibrations. My arms felt strange and then all of a sudden certain parts of me felt incredibly light and wanted to raise up. Is this what most people feel the vibrations are like?

Also, is it possible that I have already astrally projection by will but not realising it, and not whilst sleeping?
I will try to explain. You see sometimes there would be really difficult times in my house and the only way to escape would be to lie down and listen to music. Sometimes I would suddenly lapse into a strange state of mind. My body was asleep but my mind was fully awake and aware of everything around me happening, but at the same time, my mind was in a completely different place. I was physically in my bed room but somehow I was also in a field I feel as though I remember but have never been to before.
It may sound confusing but could this have been an out of body experience, or even astral projection?    :?
