Hi all.I am wondering if the feeling that someone grabs your hands or feet are phenomenon related to the etheric or what else? In almost all of my succesful obes these hands are present, but know I can add the pain I am feeling or a sense of bite at my ends (hands or feet) that is very intense.On the other hand my obes are now more "classic" and less lucid dreams that is, as I make progress I feel more frequently these dragging hands. Is all that a mind interprentation?
Because if I were the ordinary church guy I might say that all that is demonic. I do not believe in such an explanation.

My obe's are: feet upside down,stronge exit symptoms, sometimes grabbing sensations on feet, but my problem is that they end up all the time in a lucid scenario because at the time of separation I lose consciousness. Except during my last obe when I saw for the first time my hands melting and being much longer that the real hands.They were bluish-grey glowing. Well guys,that thing shoke me up veeeeryyyy much.How have you reacted in a similar situation?

Hi all. I can have one obe every five to nine days no matter how hard I try. It seems that there is a recharging? mechanism or some sort of switch that needs some days to be operative. I cannot explain this. If I let some days passing I can have an obe even whithout wanting it.
Any ideas to shorten the gap?

Hi everyone. Sometimes its ok with progressive relaxation but other times I feel a very urge need to move and stop everything.I can project only at my right-left side. How could I overcome this?

Hi everyone. When you press your eyes with the fingres you observe a curious tapestry of colors like the mandalas with rectangles colored and coloured lines.Then the whole thing is transformed to a sun wich is divides to four or eight with a very bright center. The same phenomenon appears behind my closed eyelids during the time of exit or during meditation. Its maybe a stimulation of the optical nerves or any other idea?

Hi all. I was about to leave the body when I was stucked in the head, feet upside down something normal for me.I spelled the aum continuously as this regularize the exit but in vain. All of a sudden I found my self out of my room ,but well guys this world was too elastic! the walls were elastic when I pushed them, the floor too, with my feet entering into it when I was walking on it, and not even a single wall was vertical.It was a strange crazy scenery. The blindness of the first seconds trasformed to a clear vision that was unbelievable for me, no words can describe the vividness of what I was seeing. But my problem is that every some minutes I was finding my self stucked in the head and after some seconds up to the ceiling or out of the room. Well I cannot understand if I finally was in or out!I have the strong sensation that I miss something to get the conscious exit but I hope I will find it.

How can we define the notion of the higher self? How can we make out between the millions of voices, everyone calling for attention? Is it possible to make contact with him during obe? I can "see" signs of higher self when a dream has a symbolic meaning for me giving more light in a problem but then the higher self is ME or something more than ME?

Last night I went to bed really depressed because things in my life give me so much stress. In a dream I saw a like stylus metal something entering my foot with tons of pain and blood. That was not the common pain in the foot or muscle but it was like a hard cut.I got off the thing (in my dream) and when I got out of bed I found but nothing in my leg. I dont know why but in my mind the idea of a neg activity was entered whithout apparent reason because the pain was not in the foot but in the "etheric"?. Do you find this deduction logical?

Many times when I have difficulties with exit after the vibrations I found a trick that I do not know if its a mind's trick or a real tool. Well, when I feel the vib's I spell the AUM -not with my physical mouth- which brings a stabilising effect to the exit process. Usually after this I found my self upside down. Do you think that this special sound has the major importance? Because phrases like -clearity now!- or -light now! doesnt seems to have any effect.

Recent days before sleeping I have the sensation of my father who passed away before 4 years and curiously enough I enter in false awakening "mode" whithout other problems. The time is too much to believe that my father is interesting to see me or some other family member.Also there is sometimes a fearful presence in the room. Do u think OBE is dangerous at these times. My obe's are ending up with grasping hands sensations if that helps.

The day before yesterday I was in the middle of after a projection (I dont remember well) and I  was in front of a veeery strange situation.My body was in the bed, Me was standing next to the bed and the body and a third person was against us.All tree persons were the same personality or person except the degree of "highness"? The Me was higher than the body and the unknow third was higher than me and the body.The most crazy thing was that I was perceiving all that from a fourth point of view ! At the same time I was feeling that I was dead without body and really scared, I dont know why.I was awaken with a very weird mood. I have read something similar in Peterson's book.Was that an illusion or a consiousness split?

Hi all!
Yesterday after the separation or during it I felt a  teffific pain in the waist area as if  someone had had banded my waist very-very hard.The pain was son terrific that I tried to stop and return to my body.Thats was not so easy as I entered to false awakening state.After a while I woke up with no lack in memory.No apparent cause found on my body my waist and so on.All were normal. Any ideas?

I am just wondering if the obe ability improves the way one see things in a more pholosophical way.I think that maybe yes and also the level of mentality has something to do with the ability itself or what do you think about this?

I would be happy if a camera could capture astral or etheric images.I have enough experience with photography and I have used many films including infrared ,wich are very sensitives, in absolut darkness with no result. Maybe the place you are living to, is too "electrified". Its strange, a very common camera with an ordinary film to capture images like that. Im waiting too to see the images

I am not well psychologically well prepared for the separation and what comes after.Althought I have seen the full astral body of a relative of mine (when I was too young to know anything about and I was not asleep at all at the time)so I know how it is like, I think that some sort of fear stops me to separate the upper part of etheric and so on.Dont know is just a theory.

An another version of the rope is that I found in Peterson's book that works for me most of the time. After some relaxation you visualise some sort of handle. When the image is stabilized enough you extend your hand and grasp firmly the handle. You wait until the picture is stabilized again and then slowly -very slowly you begin to pull yourself towards the handle.At first you will fill a subtle numbness in your body but try not to feel tension in the physical.If you lose the image try again and again as long as you can.Its very possible to start see images at this stage, go with it. I personally stop at this stage because I have found that the images leads me to the vibration state.At the vibs one must be careful to stay calm. At the other hand a friend of mine has had his first spontaneous projection because he was thirsty! I dont know never worked that for me.

I'm wondering if that you will see will be the physical or the etheric body because when you are in the astral you see astral things. Also I think that the human aura is not visible in the astral although objects are glowing. Maybe an etheric projection?

To start from scratch color does not exists at all.Is the certain way our brain interprets a part of the visible spectrum. All objects are luminous or not luminous like in b/w photography but the brain use a different coding system. What could be the color if men could see ultraviolet or gamma radiation? We dont know but I agree with all the foresaid that some astral colors have a vividness and "life" within, they glow beyond words.You can say for some green objects that they are green glowing yellow from inside with an overall blue tint .Sometimes I use the term "black light" when I am in a dark room (in the astral) there is no light but the objects are very clearly visible.

I dont know if its coincidence but my very first obe who ended with sleep paralysis occured with a big trasformer part of my acoustic amplifier who was near my head.That told me that artificial magnets must be kept away from the body but dont ask me why, maybe its second sight.By the way I dont know if that helped obe or not but second try didnt give any results.

Ok I agree that this book (on that site) seems fine, but it is not the only one on earth. On "Treatiste on Cosmic Fire" by Alice Bailey, one can find sections concerning the higher self but its all too abstract there. I think the notion of higher self, is the most mysterious and misunderstood among all the occult stuff .But my question remains: How the shim or me or the ego can make out between the one million messages he receives, what is come from the higher self my internal me? I have perceived through the years that when I am sentimentaly attached to a voice (not spirits ok?!) that means that it comes from my subconscious but nothing more. Ok, I dont want an answer just wondering

Hi. I dont know if one needs a so deep relaxation to get the obe. Although not an expert I sometimes have read that obe doesnt need a very deep trance or hours of relaxation. I have learned this first hand, because I am too bad in relaxation so when I reached to a state like that you all are describing, with the increased heart rate, I turned to my right side and fall asleep, yes fall asleep but keeping a watching eye in the whole process. Having aquired a deep relaxation before that helps the most. If, when I turn to my right or left, I DO NOT feel my physical body I am sure I will have an exit into a few minutes.So if you can not access the borderline try to sleep but keep in mind to watch everything behind your closed eyelids.

Hi and Thanks a lot for the information. As I am not a well experienced on aura vision I only see the third eye and crown centers but only as a white-like concentration of the aura there.Of course you must find someone who want to stay still and this is not easy.BTW I agree with this clockwise turning feeling in the third eye area but is strange that this is not perceived or feeled to other chakras,i.e solar plexus.
