LOL i liked that, but that still has nothing to do with my topic lol

Note well taken, but that doesn't have anything to do with the strange "factors" love can "produce"

I'm sorry, I just assumed you were together since you said you two had agreed to date in your previous reply  :-D my fault. Glad to hear you actually pay attention to what people say, other wise you wouldn't have caught the red flag, it would have hit you right in the face when it was too late! So have you had any other experiences, with love?

Snake Doctor, I read your post "the freaking me out" one. It's very odd to hear that, but hey who knows where it could lead, sorry to hear she was cheatin' on ya man, that's a bummer! Keep toying with the connection with other people, it may turn out to be more than what you think. Maybe through "love" or "lust" you are coming across psychic abilities :).

Stookie, I am doing the same thing anymore, holding my dates to too high a standard, but it's okay right? I mean you miss (at least I do, I'm only assuming you do aswell) what you once had, and you'd like those feelings again, so it's only natural to want "that" again right? It's odd for me, cause lately with Ariel ( the love of my life, whom I've been talkin' about ).. when I miss her, she will text me. When I pray at night for God to give me guidance and for her to have guidance as well, I wake up to a text telling me "omgh freakin' quit it! you're everywhere!!!" When I asked her what she was talking about she informed me she was reading eclipse (one of the twilight series books.. her and I have a connection through the book.. I'll explain if you'd like, just ask) and a lady by the name of Katie Marshall ( my name is Marshall ) came out of know where to ask her a question.

Isn't it just an amazing feeling? Did anything "unnatural" occur?

The human mind is full of mystery and wonder, but to me, the greatest is love. How in the world can our "hearts" know so much that our minds do not? Why is it when you meet that one special person, there is more than a connection, there is an actual bond? I know some may say it's chemicals in the brain, or that it's a mental connection, or so on and so forth, but it's more than that don't you think. From the first time I've laid eyes on my love, I knew she was the one. I know what she's thinking even before she knows it. I can look within her eyes and see life. Why is this? Why is it that true love will actually blind you in a lot of ways, but also open your eyes to a completely new world? You see every flaw in a person, yet to you they aren't there, they just make the one that much more, Perfect.

Have any of you all found that one true love? The one even after they leave or have broken your heart, you know they were that person for you; the other puzzle piece that fist perfectly in your life, heart, your everything? If so what kind of experiences did you have? Could through text messages you know when they were hurt, could you close your eyes when they were hundreds of miles away and be next to them, and know every emotion? Could you smile and hear her/his thoughts in your mind? Would you randomly think of a song and she's singing it miles away..Tell me. I'm very interested!!!

I've found my love, I know I have, there is no mistaking this feeling. I've had "love" before, but what I share with her, is more than love, it's more than the word love can comprehend, it's true love. We can spend hours on the phone ever day and it only seems like a minute has gone by. Why? Please share.

I've read this thread a lot since posting in it... and it helps me out a lot right now..so seriously thank you. My friend died in a terrible car accident last night, and she was very close and dear to me. So I hope I will have an amazing event such as yours happen to me!

Thank you! I really appreciate it! I'm not going to be able to attempt AP for the next few days... My friend just died in a terrible car accident

Last night I went to "bed" fairly early because I wanted to practice some energy work, and then attempt to project again. I relaxed my body, felt a trance coming on and I purposefully let it take me away. I started dreaming (falling asleep on the verge of sleep), and I snapped out of it and was completely aware of my "numb" body. I felt as if i were in a shell. I didnt feel vibrations nor did i feel noises (which is normal to some), and the amazing thing, I felt my astral hands and arms for the first time in a LONG time! I could move them! I could feel them! Then as most would..I got excited and was like WOAH! and woke up  :x. Just keeping you all up to date with it all. My mind is finally coming to an ease with life and I'm approaching my target!

Hey welcome to the family!

That is phenomenal! I'm very happy you were able to have this experience. I'm not a crier but it brought tears to my eyes. Simply amazing.  :-)

He he... that's pretty cool.

There used to be an Ace Ventura cartoon and there was an episode where he was meditating and OBE'd. I remember it being funny, but I don't remember why. Yes, I'm a dork. :-P

It wasnt in the cartoon...it was in the movie "when nature calls" :D

Understood, seriously, thank you for the input. I have done some more research on the experiences. I really don't think I'm going to do it, or have my friend test it out. The "prize" just doesn't seem worth it. I'll just stick with my meditation  :-D. Thanks again!

I've seen the movie quite a few times, BUT each time I watch it, I feel enlightened. It's very strange and very odd. I recall posting in a topic not too long ago that dealt with astral projection, time, and changing of the past. Now, in the movie, he reads from a journal and/or watches a clip from his past and his mind "takes him back" and he is in his youthful body and is in control and can alter things.

This is highly interesting to me. I know that the brain is a very very powerful thing, and I've always heard we only use 10% of our entire brain; is it possible that somehow, someway, in other portions of the brain there are hidden triggers that could cause such events? It's very far-fetched and is based off the movie, but, it's an interesting topic none the less. Could the brain really hold the key to secret "powers".

I'm not talking shooting webs, or laser eye vision, or ice breath. I'm talking "real" "powers". Telepathy, Telekinesis, levitation, "memory travel", things such as what happend in the movie.

Hello my friend! Astral projection is a great way to keep your mind off things, but imo, I don't believe it'll help solve your depression (though it could).

I literally just posted something that may seem helpful to you in another topic ( I really hope I'm not breaking rules by doing this..just trying to help...if i am, please just delete the message...)

As a psychology major I can say a few things, if the meds aren't working, then it's not a chemical imbalance in the brain. It's something you've come up with on your own, sort of a complex. For example, little tommy is scared to death at night because he just KNOWS that the boogie man is in his closet because his friend little tyler told him a million stories about how his friends were taken away, and there were all kinds of "proof" that the boogie man is indeed real. The kid becomes terrified when there is no reason to. The key I think for you is to meditate back to when you were nine (you said it started ten years ago, that puts you at about nine)..and try your best to find a happy place, the last thing you can remember before your worries and depression set in. Then try to remember up to the point where it actually went wrong, what was said or done to shift you. That's the hardest part. Then facing that fear and subject and concept will be much easier. I'm a Christian for instance, I lift my problems up to God, and I ask him to show me or remind me of things in my past for me to correct (if for some reason I ever feel down for some reason) and I have always gotten results :). Since you said you're kind of spiritually lets say "confused", the method above will seem to be most helpful.

Meditate-think of happiness-find the wrong-over come it. It's a lot easier than it sounds, but if you find yourself a good therapist, I do believe you'll find a greater person within you, and you'll be free of your torment! Best of luck to you!

Feel free to PM for more details, and any thing else you may need or have questions about!

But if you do just remember this.  "I took a drug because I wanted to change my perspective, I may not understand time right now, but it is passing.  Eventually this will wear off and I will be back to normal"  Can't say how many times this has kept me from doing some crazy stuff or breaking down and crying even.

That's exactly what I'm saying, keep THAT in mind. The mind is a very powerful thing, and can over come serious trauma with help and rehab. There are many tricks to use, just like lucid dreaming. DMT makes you pass out and it's all a "dream". Just have to look for the right signs and keep the right things in mind, does that make sense?

I'm very psychologically sound. I know DMT can cause a lot of damage, but in the all-things-considered aspect, only if you let it. If you can keep a sane mind and know the difference about what is actually going on you should be fine. DMT is a chemical produced naturally in the brain during heavy REM sleep. The DMT you can get illegally isn't even a comparison to the amount your brain produces while you sleep and are dreaming. I've done a lot of research on it and the military used and did a lot of different researches with it. A general even used it to unlock his self from his body and associated it with OBE and astral projection. It's a very far fetched and complex thing to grasp. You go and watch a scary movie with Jason or Michael Myers, you know the outcome, you'll be scared, BUT you know it's fake. Only people who really do not have a full grasp on "reality" will become terrified of the night because the "boogy man" is going to get them. They create them in their mind thus they really 'exist', atleast to the child or adult. With that being said, i can completely understand why you're asking "is this worth the gamble" because it could very well possibly happen to me, but the key is to "stay alert" and use common sense (which i'm guessin will be wiped out  :-D )... So is it worth the gamble, quite possibly. You never know until you try, which is why I'm getting my buddy to try it first  .

I meant it as a joke :). That's just part of my personality. I am a Psychology major at a university here in Kentucky. I am a singer and I play guitar, so yes I love art.

Back on subject, my friend is currently trying to extract DMT and test it himself (he's not the smartest but he'll do anything that seems fun), so i figured hey.. i can get him to do it and give me his testimony, and see what happens. Is it cruel, yes. Will it be funny, most likely. Is it worth it, yep. Will it keep me safe until i POSSIBLY (not sure if i want to) try it, you can bet your butt! :D!

I've done a lot of research on DMT, it's highly HIGHLY illegal  but it cause no harm what soever, it's in plants all around us and our brain produces more than an average "dose" in heavy REM sleep. It's supposed to take you literally into other dimensions... any other ideas? Anyone used ?
