I had finally separated completely from my body a couple days ago after listening to free flow focus 10 of the gateway experience and it was strange. I perceived my non physical body, and I was able to "see" for a little bit. My question though is how do I focus movement? When I separated I pretty much "fell" on the floor. when i tried to move, it seemed to be very random movements. I couldn't control any limbs, and i just jumped around my room randomly.

My second question is, is it productive to be in focus 12 for the OBE state or is that just wasting time? I reached that state last night on my own and couldnt perceive any part of my body. It was almost like I was this ball of awareness floating in a sea of blackness and I was just wondering if that could help in being some kind of launch point for the Astral. Thanks in advance for your replies:)

I also believe vibrations are quite an experience. Anyone who has a very strong vibration episode, have no doubt it is a real conscious experience to them.

Ha yeah it is quite an experience. They're are starting to smooth out more too. When I woke myself up at 4am to try to reach that state, they were very mild, and kind of came in lazily I guess is the word. I dont know if that was just because I was already exhausted though

CFTraveler that was probably the best description and explanation on vibrations I've read. I haven't researched to much into the phenomenon because I honestly didn't think it was that intense or an important an indicator of an out of body experience.

Recently I have hit this vibrational stage every night this week, every time I affirmed to myself that I will reach that stage and do a mental rundown to Focus 10 before I fall asleep at night. I lose consciousness for a few minutes and then wake up prior to the pre-vibration symptons, and then the actual vibrations hit. It seems extremely hard to move out of body after that though. I can only get a limb or two to move sporadically, and other parts of my body seem to move in and out without me seeming able to control them. Is that a normal thing to happen? I just want to zoom into the Astral straight away and learn what it is that it has to offer to me :p

Reading Journeys out of the Body. Monroe said the vibrations were the key to exiting the body, and from other posts I've read it seemed like intensifying the vibrations would shoot you into the Astral. I've also found the more intense the vibrations, the easier it was for me to move certain parts of my body

Thanks for the advice. I had another episode of vibrations last night, but couldn't seem to intensify them and shortly after lost consciousness and fell back asleep. Next time I will try the swaying and the rolling out method. I've always tried just imagining that my body was sitting up and when I did that I could only feel parts of me move

So it has come to the point where when I want to feel the vibrations when I go to lay down, they come within 20 minutes. I am able to control where the vibrations go on my body and the intensity of them, but I am not sure how to exit the body using the vibrations. I can feel body parts move, and my head bobbing in and out of my pillow, but I dont know how to actually exit and have a full blown Out of Body Experience. Can anyone help?
