Hey all, man its been a long time since I've been to this forum.  I've been pretty preoccupied wiht school and stuff, well I met this lady a while ago, crippled, in a wheelchair, that can also astral project at will.  We've been writing letters back and forth and I thought that a portion of the one I just wrote would be really appropiate to post here, not to mention the need I have to hear more experienced and knowledgeable peoples' input.  Well, here it is:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
....[blah blah blah, blah, yeah ya da blah].........
.....A year ago, marijuana was a sort of a way of life for me, or I guess you could say I fell into the same groove as my friends.  But now I've majorly cut back, to probably 2-4 times per month (It got to the point of a daily routine).  I think that pot might restrict the ability to OBE, though I must admit that I have such a boosted awareness of my own spirit energy when I'm high. It feels as though I have perfect control--concentrating on any single point of my body, I then feel a sort of 'increasing density' or tingly sensation within seconds.  I've also tried DXM (once) and mushrooms (three times).  DXM is what they put in cough syrup to make the other drugs more intense, it is legal.  I've read many experiences of DXM users before I tried it for myself; some say they see aliens and have out-of-body experiences, even 'talking' to spirits.  My last trip on mushrooms was about 2 weeks ago, and my worst trip yet, I felt as though I was literally tripping out of my mind, I hated it.  The fact that I was aware and thinking and conscious made me feels insane.  I wanted to end my existance and the feeling of doom was overcoming me.  I stayed up until about 5:30AM morning and hysterically laughing.  That is definately the last time I'm doing shrooms.  The next morning, my mom came to me, worried, wanting to talk about a dream she had about me that night--while I was tripping.  She was saying in this dream we were all together, the family, in a house.  An airplane was flying in our direction and kept on circling our house.  My mom said it was some sort of government organization--they were after me, they wanted purely me, I'm special... or something...  The plane left and my mom was relieved.  Then, came some sort of helicopter, she described, but it really wasn't a helicopter.. something different equipped with technology that we've never seen before,  able to see through houses and matter and such.  She kept on saying, "Adam get away from the window!!" But I was standing there yelling, "Here I am, what do you want?!?!" and such.  Then they pointed a lazer at my heart and shot a dart or something into it.  I walked to my mom saying "They got me, mom, they got my heart."  And that was the dream, as my mom described it.  I never want to do shrooms again, and deeply regret doing it that last time.  I've always had limits; I never have and never will do any sort of methemphamine or man-synthesized drug.  By this i mean never doing coke, crank, speed, ecstacy, or LSD (acid).  I wonder if mushrooms (then again any drug) permanently/temperarily impairs one's ability to project or changes one's....frame of reference, or awareness beyond our level comprehension, something I cannot put into words.  I think especialy the same of cocaine, I'll never try coke. Marijuana, shrooms, and DXM, those are the only 'political' drugs I've tried.  One way to confirm my question is to find someone that is able to astral project AFTER they have done mushrooms one, or several times.  Well.. enough about drugs.......
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

K, that's the part that I really would appreatiate others' input.  Are they any shrooms users out there that can relate to what I said?  Can you A.P.?? Well thanx for those who reply :P

Last night my mom was telling me about how she suddenly felt a surge of energy, which caused her to wake up.  A split second later, my little sister flung her arm across my mom's chest then saying "that's my daddy!" (my mom and little 9 year old sister sleep together) the funny thing is, my mom was saying how she was briefly dreaming of her ex-husband, (little sister's dad) but could not see his face, right at the same time she awoke and heard what my little sister said. Does anyone think that two people, due to physical closeness or empathy, can merge in dreams??  I've have always wondered this.

(part of one of my replies to my "vampires" topic in general discussions...

quote:

You know, Dragonball Z is like a really exaggerated version of this whole energy idea. Despite all the agruments in the Energy Development section, I think DBZ definately needs some credit. After all, they have always stated real methods of energy raising and "psi ball" techniques, with also telekinasis and clairvoyant action scenes.

I personally have never witnessed telekinesis or the like up close, nor on TV, but definately hear a LOT about it.

Try to picture all the energy gathered up from thousands of thousands of planets and all life forms of them.... That would be an unfathomably massive and uncomprehendable total of energy! Kind of like Majin Buu and from his 'quest of destruction.' That would be awesome to see a sick anime--sort of like DBZ--but based on the "astral" or something.

So what is the Occult truth behind vampires, anyway?  I've skipped through Konstantinos book "Vampires" or something like that and quickly scanned through articles about the topic.  Are they really closet astral projectors that drain energy from unsuspecting people?

What are Succubus'/Succubi?  Does anyone think they exist?

How about mental/astral sex? This is such a cool topic.... [8D]

I've tried a few times (the times that I was aware that I was dreaming) to project or phase from this state, but still no luck, usually I wake up from knowledge that I was dreaming, or from my mom or something.

Does anytone think this is possible, has anyone ever done it?

First thing I'd like to say is..

"ARRARRROUOUHGAOUEUORRGGHFFJKKKKTH!!!"

I typed up this extra long, extrememly thoughtful post and lost it cuz i got disconnected..  Reluctant and frustrated I typed it again and made all my points and thoughts... THE POWER GOES OUT!!!  So here i am again.. but im ticked so ill make it short and to the point.

What does everyone think about drugs?  I know that statement is VERY broad.  There are hundreds of drugs out there with their own unique effect, but I'm talking the likes of Marijuana, magic mushrooms, LSD, masculine, peyote, and such psychadelics as those.

Can anyone actually explain the metaphysics of smokin the reefer (weed)?  What does it do to your consciousness/awareness during the high?  I've been exposed to so many people's experiences and scientific documents explaining the chemical reactions of the THC, shoot, I even regularly use it myself, but that doesn't really explain ANYTHING!

Theres so much more to say but i dont wanna say it all, ill save it for more replies.

I personally have done shrooms 3 times but when i did them, I'd consider myself, at that time, a LOT less mentally developed and was unaware of the effect's  higher potential.  Aztec tribes called magic mushrooms "skin of the gods."  I also see, for myself, a remarkable likeness of the mushrooms formation, and brain formation.  Just, visually compare the two.

What is so special about acid (LSD)?  I hear some people say they see their future/death/purpose in life from the drug. And come up with the brilliant ideas to better the society of mankind.  Im gonna wait on experimenting with it until im a much more matured.

Does anyone think that upon doing a certain drug, it would eliminate the capability of performing an OBE?  It's just something I always wondered, like if there were something out there that f@cks you up so much that it perminatley bonds your awareness to your body?  The idea seems a little farfetched, but it has always scared me, though I kind of doubt it.

OK ive already said too much, ill save the rest for future posts and replies. [|)]

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Is Sai Baba GOD?
February 10, 2003, 22:52:00
lol another title to attract the crowd.  My answer is no.  But, ironically, yes.  The following is my paraphrased version of an article written about him:

  One day a reporter walked up to Sai Baba and asked, "Are YOU God?"
  Sai Baba replied, "Yes."
  This came as a big surprise to the whole crowd and the reporter, leaving them restless and looking as if a horrible crime has been commited.  After a few brief moments, Sai Baba added, "And so are YOU, along with everyone else here."

This makes sense so far and it SEEMS that this guy is a man of great wisdom and advanced enlightenment.  But what is really behind all those "magical" tricks that he shows to prove to the crowd his "Divineness."  Isn't everyone Divine?  Why must he have so many followers that look up to him so much and give their spiritualism and devotion all to him.  Wouldn't a greater lesson, be "not to worship false gods?" Let alone, even adore another person at all?  Aren't we all supposed to find the Source of Being within ourselves?  Why do formal texts present him as either "Him" or "He".. ?

I've read reports which people have witnessed him materialize matter out of thin air with a simple command or gesture, such as the pendant that he wears around his neck.  Some people explain how he does these "miracles," but I must see it with my own eyes.

Something tells me this guy is a fraud.  There seems to be an endless supply of people willing to give their minds away, so mindlessly. excuse the pun.  David Baily claims he knows what he is talking about when he says Sai Baba is a fake and a lie after working with him for over 20 years.  Baily says Sai Baba is a involved with rape, child molestation, and even killings.  Well, when someone is considered a "walking god on Earth," that would be easy, wouldn't it?  The watches and jewelry that Sai Baba claim to have materialized from another dimension (and says are extremely valuable) are said to be manufactured exclusivley for his "Magic."  In fact, upon taking one of these pieces to a jeweler, Baily is told that it is invaluable and states there is a silvery paper in back of the jewel piece to give a glossy appearence.  The jewel was removed and there was indeed a silvery paper on the back.

I also read reports of how a lot of Christians die while handling snakes... This is done because in Mark's Gospel, Chapter 16, verse 17: "They shall take up serpents."  Now Dewey Chafin quotes from American People Magizine, "See, I handle serpents because it's i nthe Bible, like a commandment. And I drink strychnine because the Bible says it won't hurt me. Now, either every word in that Bible is right or it's wrong."

Maybe there ARE some truths to major religions, but the was I see it, they are nothing more but a bunch of over-sized cults.  That's why I stick to my Paganic ways, heh.  There's no room for people like him pretending to be something they're not.  But with todays New Age thinking, who knows.... he may just be the anti-Christ, or another version of it.

"It has served us well, this myth of Christ."  - Pope Leo X

I've been thinking about spontanious conbustions for a while now...  A whole lot of evidence surrounding this phenomena points out that the cause of the majority of the occasions have no external causes whatsoever.  What I mean is, in most of the cases, there was absolutely no forensic evidence to show ANY causes of death was maybe, for example, catching fire from a cigerette, surge of energy from a nearby outlet, fireplace going, candles burning, nada! Non of these reasons have any revelence.  In fact, most of these cases were reproted within MINUTES of last sight of the person completely normal.  Experiments and common sense would say it would take hours to completely disentegrate a body in flames... this happens within minutes!  Possibly seconds!  Also, the body parts recovered are usually UNBURNED and UNINGULFED!!  I'm thinking, through possibly fluke accident, or intention, the body is capable of self-destruction!  Maybe our energy body has the potential of a natural mechanism that can disentegrate itself..... willfully!?  And maybe out of malfunction...[?]

This has been bugging me for a very long time, concerning Bruce's Book Astral Dynamics.  Around the beginning of the book he states that your astral body (OBE body) consists of the etheric COPY of your physical/etheric self (and your consciousness is transferred to this new subtle energy body, created by your PURE energies [the mind split]) . He then goes on to explain in a later chapter, about blind people, that during an OBE their sense of sight would not be the same as to someone WITH sight, let alone if they even HAVE sight.  He says they "feel" their way around or something.  He makes sense in saying this by explaining that since the blind p erson's real self is blind and has no training with the visual sense that it would be no different than in the astral world (correct?). O.K. I could see that feasible. BUT much later in the book he goes on to say that there is no etheric matter when you project... he says you are but just a single point of consciousness outside of its own physical/etheric body.  Then saying the state of your phycial body has no effect on the astral body because there is no astral or etheric organs in your body that you assume during a projection... IN FACT he says the ONLY body there is... is that of the one you imagine there to be.... so you believe you have this astral body, so you look at it, and the way you perceive it is the exactly way you THINK it to be. He says there is no body, just your imagination remembering your physical self. This is when I got confused, first he says it's a copy ya dee ya deyada.. now theres no body in the astral world..... Well Mr. Bruce, with all do respect... than how could you even be able to SEE other astral beings/entities IF THEY HAVE NO BODY???  Also, how would you explain people experiencing PAIN, like that of over-surging energy, or vibes, up or down their spine.  People describe being out of body, in the astral (or maybe real-time) and experiencing PAIN in their BODY!!  I think it's obvious to me that you DO resume some sort of body, how else would you be able to feel pain in your body while projecting?  What I was thinking it was, they feel really what their asleep/tranced physical body is feeling via the Silver Cord.  I'm  mean I'm no veteren here, in fact, I've never even projected before.  But I DO do a hellevalotta research and studying on this topic, trust me on that.  So lets see some people respond to this, yeah? Bruce, too if you read this.

so what the heck are the "hemi-sync" and "brainwave generator" devices? how do they work? what do they do?  are they realiable?  can it help a person whos never projected before actually project for the first time (me)?!!?

Hello there, I bought Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics about a month a ago and am now done with it. and I've always been trying to do a successful projection even before that, but i just cant get it right! I've been trying for months! I can now definetely expand, or raise, my energy body -- I can feel it, that tinkly feeling thats goes bone deep, makes you feel like your expanding but i know i got that down. I think my main problem is the trance part, or maybe the willing yourself out of body...? when I'm deeply ralaxed, i start to see these visuals almost like diffenent shades of black and grey/silver mixing and swirling all together (psychedellic baby) and i can manipulate it if i kep my mind clear I've always wanted to know something... when Bruce talks about "if you have trouble getting body parts out" and so on.. I can for sure feel resistence in areas of my body when stimulating, but how do you know whether certain parts of your body are actually out?? do you see or feel it? man i wanna do this so bad its killing me maybe I'm too young? haha probably not im 16.. how old was everyone they're first experience, how did they do it, and what happened. should i try some OBE inducing drugs? Got any advise besides the rope technique which doesnt seem to work for me..?

Tom, yes you're correct about the binaural frequency variations on the two hemispheres of the brain, you 'hear' the difference... or simply focus on the almost-subliminal sounds and tones.  Each ear could have multiple channels allowing different notes and vibrations in one speaker.  The concept, and intense research by Robert Monroe and his institute, was to correlate, or synchronize activity and betabolic potentials in both halves of the brain, hence inducing into much more of a relaxed, alert mind; its good for meditation because you concentrate fully, on it.

KnacK -

Yes, the Out of Body Experiences are entirely "in your head."  But saying this would be ambiguous because the experience is entirely subjective.  Yet, it is your consciousness, or awareness which actually leaves the body and physical thus existing as ether/spirit energy.  Once out of the "real time zone."  It is difficult to diffrientiate the astral environment and even dreams because there are countless aspects of it.  Dreams are a product of subconscious memories, desires, fears, regrets, etc that are manifested through your train of thought.  Dreams are a self created virtual reality.  This can be so in some forms of the Astral.  You might as well even say that having a dream is a form of an O.O.B.E.  After all, your consciousness is not the least bit aware that he/she is dreaming, and still familiarizes the environment as the actual reality.  Therefore it IS reality, for the time being, anyway.

I think even Robert Bruce spoke of this dream-projection in A.D. if my memory is correct, (you can also look up the subject anywhere on the net) While dozing off to sleep, the "second subtle energy body," which your main/pure energies created, is said to float or rise above the physical body, mimicing its position.  It's is almost as if you are in such a deep state of sleep, that your mind forgets its surrounding and just detaches along with your limited awareness.

Also, here is an experiment that I would like to do:

Find someone that can OBE and also get my hands on a devise that can measure brain frequences and activity areas, more importantly some to measure facial twitches and REM occurances.  REM stands for Rapid Eye Movement and is a stage of sleep where you could expect the subject to actually be dreaming.  About every 90 mintues, your body completes a cycle of the stages sleeping.  I once read that REM is normal to happen during an OBE. My goal would be to see if REM actually happens with a succesful "astral exit," and how often it persists through the experience.

Now I would really like

I associated dreaming with projecting.

Did one of the two seem to 'out-do' to other in terms of believable evidence?  There has got to be only one truth.

EVOLUTION = ADAPTION

I personally lean in the direction that there are both some sort of GOD, universal force, and, within it, the mechanics of evolution.  It would be impractical to perceive our (Earth's, man's) creation as sudden and instant.  I think the more logical way of looking at who we are, and where we came from is considering that we all evolved (adapted to our surroundings through natural selection) from a lesser, simple, or more primitive versions of what we are now.  (I can see no flaw in Darwin's theories, can anyone else?)

Take a look at dinosours and birds, recently, scientists now universally came to the conclusion that birds actually evolved from dinosours (the raptor-like ones, e.g. T-Rex, raptors..).  They looked at everything from the bone structure similarities, movement characteristics, down to the way they were able to run.  Now, most museums say they even feel obligated to re-make their dino models, and construct them... with feathers!  Back even before the dinosours existed, scientists say the planet was dominated by aquamarine-life and amphibians, inhabiting only the waters and the humid, marshy, swampy regions of the world.  Slowly, these amphibians (just take a look at what frogs can do) began to crawl more and more onto land and began adapting to its climate.  Generations and generations later, the ones on land have adpated so much that their physical characteristics, especially their skin, have dried out and developed more dry, scale-like skin.  These creatures have adapted to the new surroundings to the point where they are no longer even considered the same classification of species that their predeccesors used to be.  This illistrates a theory of how and where the dinosours originated from.  Life is more easily sustained in the water.  Take a look at philangy (spelled right?), you know those little independent life organisms that float in the sea, which is what whales eat.  Life like that cannot originate on dry land--sure micro-organisms can live in a biger organisms, but they need a host to survive and live off of.  I believe billions and billions of years ago, the most simple, single celled organisms existed in the vast waters.  Adaption began to slowly take place and multi-celled life started to sprout, then complex creatures began evolving from them, then comes the land creatures, you can then piece it togethor my point, yourself...

Some give these theories of "water-monkeys," or "aqua-apes."  I'm still reading up on the details...

Has anyone ever tried contemplating how our planet was created?  There is this theory where the earth started out in processes similar to that of creaction of a pearl.  The Earth as an infant was but a mere crystal--slowly it began attracting life force and channeling energy.  It's hard to remember the details, but the whole diea seemed very feasible.  You can read about this in the book, Anti-Gravity & The World Grid, by David Hatcher Childress, a great book might I add that I would recommend to everybody.

But that still doen't explain the sudden bang in intelligence and culture of humans over the past 15,000 years (+25,000 years if you believe in Atlantis).  Did we simply reach a greater threshold of intelligence through our brain's evolution, or was there something else, something that is widely blown off as moot, something that has helped push our species to this new level...?

Has anyone ever seen the movie 2001: A Space Oddessy?  A boring, but great movie.  It's morals and ideas have inspired and questioned myself a lot.  At the begining of the movie, it says: Dawn of Man in a text and behind it a beautiful scenery of a sunrise horizon.  The scene depicts a tribe of primates living and surviving in a chaotic world.  They are scavenging for scraps of food and living only from help of one another.  A sabertooth tiger of some sort attacks the tribe and kills off one of the apes.  They flee and move on--there is nothing they can do.  The apes are intelligent enough to socialize, groom, and play with each other. The next morning, with the sun and moon seeming parallel with each other, appears a huge monolith, radiating a strange sound, a sound that seems to me to conatin every single note.  The apes are going crazy out of confusion--they have never seen such a thing.  The apes seem affected--they walk more upight, they actually realize the use of a bone and use it as a tool.  Something has definately changed in the dynamics of these creatures, they seem more able.  Some sort of higher force/intelligence gave these primates a gift.

Does anyone support the theory that E.T.'s came down to Earth over 25,000 years ago and cloned their genes into a a form of primates, thus man came about?  I believe this, but demand further facts and discoveries.  Anyone ever listen to that Rael guy talk about aliens and stuff (the guy involved with that supposed cloned baby and the company, "Clonaid")?

One thing is for sure: once the infamous Hall of Records is unearthed, it would supply a lot of evidence and documents stating knowledge and history that even predates the pre-dynasty era of ancient Egypt.  It may even provide information about the truth of Atlantis, the Sphinx, and even Alien life.  This would be the discovery of the lifetime.

P.S. If you have never seen 2001: A Space Odessey, you might wanna check out this summery to fully understand the movie [:D]

LOL!

You know, I recognize that "stargate" from a scene in SG1!  C'mon people, don't be so gullable.  If something like that really was announced, it would be ALL OVER the tabloids and the news, we would have seen it on CNN or something.  If the Iraqis really did have that kind of technology, then why would they be using such primitive tactics like they are now...?  You know.. like the suicide bomber that killed 4 G.I.s  That kinda stuff wouldn't be held secret for a second if that were a real announcment.

I personally believe only 1st world countries such as US or Britain are rich and suffisticated enough to develope technology such as A-Gravity, Scalar waves, tesla devices. etc.  And I can assure you that they are no where near revealing any of it yet...

That page is a good joke though... I would definately get a real kick out of anyone who believes it. [:D]

P.S. you might as well argue that no one ever really landed on the moon, hah!

hah, good point tom.  Well, its not like the company is loosing any money for people getting keys for free, its just all the less they would have.  Not that they would have gotten it (from me) in the first place if I would have been forced to pay (which I wouldn't have in that case)..... no big loss on either side [:P]

So where can I download this Brainwave generator..?  I've searched for it multiple times on Kazaa but nothing was found.

come on people, is there no one here that can answer my questions or what??  Does anyone know of any forum webpages such as this one that is mainly occult/metaphysical topics and has quite an exceptional amount of people joined?

Thank you timeless, but my friends don't always appreciate my sense of humour[B)].  Though I can always get everyone cracking up when there is gloom in our moods. [:D]

Adrian,
R. Monroe's descriptions and articles on OBE seem very comprehendable and in depth.  I know he has books on the topic and Hemi-Sync CDs.  To your knowledge, does he have any audio guided hypnosis/OBE instructions on CD?  I'm dying to have my first successful OBE and can't stand the failures any longer (though I won't stop trying).  I hear these Hemi-Sync CDs are successful in boosting your chances of a first exit.  Any suggestions/comments?
