I had awoken earlier than normal, got something to eat, then decided to go back to sleep.  After I went back to sleep I kept having broken up sleep, sleeping for 15 minutes at a time and waking up frequently.

On one of these occasions when I opened my eyes I saw that my door had been replaced with a closet, so I had two closets in my room.  Almost immediately I heard a woman screaming very loudly and my adrenaline started pumping.  I then woke up for real.

What do you hope to accomplish as you are able to astral travel? what are your goals in the astral realm? what sort of questions do you hope to have answered by trying to OBE more. ty.

Since I was very little I have always been interested in the 'paranormal'.  My primary reason for attempting to astral travel (not very successfully thusfar) is to simply explore, master, and experience an exciting new realm.  My biggest motivation is boredom, though I have prepared a checklist of things to do when I do eventually succeed.

1. Try to contact my dead grandfather
2. Try to prove mind/body separation for myself through verifying physical hits while in the astral

I believe that we are more than our bodies, but I would still seek to prove that to myself without any shadow of a doubt.

This is a question for you veteran OBErs.  Have you found when you use the computer for too long, or watch too much TV that it makes having an OBE more difficult?  I seem to find it easier to concentrate and use my imagination when I go without the TV or computer for a period of time.  Maybe it has to do with information overload.
