Let me know what you think of this...
it's publicity for OBE, as i see it.

Hello,
lately I've been having a certain experience within dreams.  In the dream, I am laying on my bed, or some other surface, and all of a sudden my body begins to vibrate softly, and tingle.  It seems I am lucid at this point, and I have this instinct to let it happen rather than fight it.  I let myself buz and vibrate, and I eventually float into the air and turn as if I were in a rotating oven.  It stops, and I am still on the bed or surface.

I'm not sure what to make of this.

I understand what you're saying, and had similar thoughts.  However, I do think that it's good science is actually acknowledging that OBEs of some kind exist.  Perhaps science will explain the physical components of astral projection.

Scientists are starting to believe that other dimensions exist, which could be the astral dimensions etc.   Perhaps science will one day include things we today call paranormal, or spiritual, as our intellects grow.

The field of psychology usually deals with much of the topics discussed here.

Well, I think the floating up into the air and rotating could be me projecting?  Last night, after i stopped rotating, I flew around my house (whether this was in a dream or obe, i don't know).  I'm not sure that this was a real time OBE because i saw my sister in the kitchen, and it was day.... in physical time it was late at night.  Also, everything seemed hazy and fake--things almost had a transparent appearance to them.

In reference to your response, Frank, I do let it go, but it just stops and i feel like i'm still in the dream.  Really weird.  Anyway, thanks.

Above all others, two songs get me high--very high.
Drops of Jupiter by Train, and Semi-charmed life by Third Eye Blind.
I suppose the song types depend on the individual's taste.

Last week I had totally relaxed and listened to a past life regression walk through cd.  In it, it instructed me to get totally relaxed and I stayed that way long after the cd ended.  I either fell into a trance and then meditated for an hour, or i fell asleep in the deeply relaxed state.  Whatever it was, I felt more awake and alive than I had the past two years!

It was amazing.  I'm wondering if i was sleeping, or in trance--or both together, increasing the effect.

I've been having somewhat of the same problem, although it may be becuase I'm still new to NEW.  I do what cainam_nazier said he does, and I just can't fall asleep.  I feel wide awake.

I'll have to try that.  Another method that I like is just plain feeling yourself falling off a cliff.  It's quite rapid and works great...although I don't know if it causes any unwanted side effects such as tension.  Give it a try and see.

Anyone following the Andrea Yates trial?  I think it's possible she was attacked in a way.  Ehat she did was just so unspeakable, it makes me sick.  Killing all her children by drowning them in the bathtub.  Here's a rather interesting article about it.  http://www.cnn.com/2002/LAW/02/22/yates.trial/index.html
