I have had a few OBE's from lucid dreams and just laying down and the last couple of times vibrations were not present anymore. I think the more practice the easier it gets.

Hi there, I've never projected out from Lucid dreams, the lucid dreams are such a different experience from the astrally projecting consciously for me.
Have you been astrally projecting for a while?

Every projector, if they do it long enough, will come to the point in which vibrations are less prevalent, take shorter time, or are not felt at all.  This is individual, and has probably to do with the physical brain getting used to the shift in perception or frequency- it becomes less 'traumatic' the more it's done consciously, until it's not noticed any more.
This is a result of practice, and it's been documented ever since people started writing about their transitional process instead of the places they visited, so I don't think it has to do with any specific 'times'.

Yes, you are right.

Though there are times when you don't want it to happen and it was easier to stop the process when the vibrations were felt, now it's harder to stop due to no vibrations, not that i want to stop it all the time, it's just sometimes.

Have you felt yourself gain the vibrations when out of body just as you think of locating someone?
As if your about to de-materialize in the astral to their location?
If you have, let me know your experience of this.

Thanks

Are they Reptilian?

Or are they the greys?

I use to think that it was our own thoughts and fears that create them, but not all of them.
I have read so much on the gray aliens abducting people astrally.  And the experiments done in the Dulce Underground specifically for astral and dream states.

I have only one bad experience as far as i can remember, that was when I was literary whipped out of my body by the the feet and almost trailed by my head or hair from my bedroom, I was stopped from seeing who was doing this to me and it scared the living hell out of me.

I did break free and  spun around my bedroom really fast hoping i was projecting out energy to rid my room of them, and screaming to leave.

Thats the only bad encounter that I've had that did scare me.

It seems much easier now to astral project.

I seem to be by-passing those strong vibrations and leaving the body when the tingles come on all over.
Is this happening to anyone?
Why is it happening so much quicker now?  Is it the fact that it's coming up to 2012, the wave if you will.?
I've been leaving my body travelling around my area then going back to my body just to leave again and again.

Hi there,

No don't be fearful at all, I mean whats the worst that could really truly happen?  There isn't, your body won't be invaded while your out, you can always just think of going back to your body and you always will jump back in.

I know exactly what you mean about the dark though, when I was younger, i was the same, but if you leave a wee light on in your room or leave your bathroom light on it will really help trust me.

Because of fear, i tried so hard to stop it and i did for a good few years, but then you'll miss it, so just take it all in your stride and go for it.   :-D

Your doing so well!!..

The state of mind, i think also effects your surroundings when your out.

I loved this post lol...

If you don't try to hard to leave your body it will happen..
Even try bringing yourself out of the pure sleep stage, when you feel yourself about to completely drop off, once you make yourself aware of this, you'll be in such a relaxed state that you'll feel the vibrations and then completely consciously leave your body.

Truly, this does work.

Please post if you do consciously leave your body, I'd love to hear your story.

Once you start you can't stop!

I love reaching the vibrational state!
I have been astral projecting from i was a quite young, It's all I could think about as my twin an I always met each other in dreams and always flew around the housing estate, astrally.

Anyhow, I also found that once you start, there is no stopping it!  I always went into the vibrations very soon after going to bed, and i always tried to shake the vibrations off, but ended up turning out of my body instead of turning my physical body over in bed.

When i felt like just letting it happen, i just let the vibrations run, and kept my mind clear as much as possible, I just went with the flow.
then just will yourself up out of bed, you'll see that it's your astral up now.
Think of standing beside your bed.

I have never 'lifted' or 'floated' out of my body, that was hard, I'v just always rolled out, sometimes even thought i was falling through the bed.

I tried to control the vibrations i moved them up and down my whole body and they get so strong and fast it scares me.  but it was easy to do, but too frightening, so i just stick with rolling out of bed when the vibrations are on.

But there is one thing that i will never forget, that was the first time many years ago when i left my body, while having the vibrations as i willed myself out, there was an amazing very loud deep click noise, it seemed so loud, but i never got that again, just the first time.
