try sleeping for a few hours first then try it,sounds like your almost there i donte try before bed unless iv done an hour of meditation first. You can xan astral project from a dream you just have to  meditate and just keep asking during the day what im doing how did i get there what is my name, Keep  doing it like realty checks.

I'll be trying that in the weekend since I have to wake up for school around 5/6 every morning, thanks for the tip.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Almost there?
February 23, 2014, 11:03:28
I've been trying to astral project for a few nights now, but to no avail. I'm very relaxed, focused on my breathing, I may feel VERY small vibrations in my hands or feet, but that's it so I don't know if I can call them 'vibrations'. Most of my body otherwise, is still numb, however I can still willingly move it.

I know I shouldn't be expecting the vibrational state to happen, but that leads to sleep paralysis which is the only way for beginners to experience astral projection. I've also tried listening to some binaural beats, and have fallen asleep three times.

I also frequently get a faster heartbeat, it's not due to fear or panic, but it keeps going back and forth from subtle minor vibrations or to nothing at all. I know about the various techniques, but they're practically useless to me until I haven't entered sleep paralysis. Last night, I tried repeating affirmations (Mind awake, body asleep) while listening to binaural beats and focusing on each breath, to which I unfortunately fell asleep.

Any tips?
