First to all questioners ...

My response here was for the thread author to consider. I will not be responding to other individual requests for information. You can easily find it on your own. It is on the Internet in very common places.

Second, if someone is genuinely interested specifically in the Christ experience, I would suggest becoming a reader of Paul Selig's books. I have read one (The Book of Mastery) twice, and it was a highly "experiential" each time. There was a definite energetic for me when reading the book. Paul is very skilled.

Finally, I am not surprised by the multiple responses here (e.g., like I stated above ... Jesus is an emotional topic). I would suggest to all reading this that if you are genuinely curious, then do your own work

Thank you Subtle Traveller.  You have given much to think about. I would however would like to clear up something regarding the original thread comment. When the feelings I spoke about happened for the first time, my idea of biblical Jesus was based on information I picked up from being raised Roman Catholic. I turned my back on this faith soon after, however the feelings continued to roughly my early 20's (long before I started reading any non-religious metaphysics). So really the existence of Jesus was really in question.

What I really wanted to know was, are the feelings I had due to being infinately connected to 'ALL THAT IS''? My beliefs now are that we are all connected, one big thing, non physical by nature and are representations or branches or whatever you want to call it of God, Dog, or Kevin or whatever you want to call it. I hope that makes sense.

I wanted someone to say, ''the feelings you had were relevant and it was your inner being or maybe spirit guide/higher self trying to tell you your true nature'' because that is what I believe they were. I didn't want to be told it was immaturity or something silly teenagers go through.

I actually have no idea what the feelings were and it probably doesn't even matter!!

Anyway this was fun and I'm extremely grateful for the participation.

Just read that word backwards. Maybe it helps.  :-D

Interesting! ''remember the day we realised we were dog?''

I am god,
we are god,
he/she is god,
they are god.

god god god.
Kinda wish there was another word for god......maybe Kevin?

Actually Xanth I agree with you only because I stopped being a sheep. The feelings grandiour went away but when I started making my own mind up about reality they didn't come back. My point is whether or not it would have been positive for me if the feelings hadn't gone away with adulthood.

A child still needs someone to plant the idea we create our own reality unless that child is lucky enough to channel Seth! I found this idea on my own by reading stuff not on a syllabus list.

To finish I never wanted to do Lion things, I just wanted to play and still do and do so at every possible moment.

Xanth - Maybe were supposed to feel like that all the time but the rigours of physical existence drills it out of us until we are just another sheep. I think I would have made a good Cleo😉

Escape velocity - I thought I was the second coming too!!! I just didn't want to word it that way so I didn't seem weird. So glad it wasn't just me

Thanks.

I wouldn't say it drives me crazy and the feeling went away as I got older. Is that really true about Cleo or are you teasing?

When I was younger (maybe 15/16) I had a feeling that I was special and possibly related to or actually was Jesus! I know this is rediculous and I don't even believe in the story of Jesus but the feeling was strong.
I also remember being on bus full of people and I had a strong feeling that I was real and everybody on the bus was fake or robots or something.

I'm not an egotistical person in fact quite shy so these feelings don't really fit my personality profile. Since reading about concepts of a single consciousness wanting to create reality but experienced through us individuals I wonder if these feelings I had are related.

Has anyone else felt this? I'm really not egotistical honest!!!

Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows. This song I think could have been after their Maharishi visit which is linked to NPR.

If anyone likes music preparing for projection or meditation try Propeller by Mountains it's amazing!

Thanks Szaxx.  I'll try concentrate on surroundings instead. You mentioned inhabitants, iv'e not had any interaction with others yet in a LD. Would asking mental questions or trying to speak also be beneficial? And sorry one last question, how important is the imagery of the surroundings? My last LD involved a passenger jet flying strange angles, looked like it was going to crash but rectified itself right at the last minute, that's when I realised I was dreaming. My strongest LD I was in a huge park but all the trees had white leaves like I was on an alien planet. The detail was almost more clear than reality but I was floating but couldn't move.

Hey Peeps,
Been a while since been on site but had some relevant experiences so thought I would ask for advice.

I've never had an obe and kind of gave up trying. Recently I tried a few methods of phasing which gave me a lot of typical 'about to exit' sensations so persevered. Still not had obe BUT my lucid dreams are much more frequent now. Does this mean I'm close to having a real, planned experience rather than just accidental LD? Some of my LD's are crystal clear, some hazy and surreal. My main problem is getting anchored. I do actually look at my hands and rub them to check i'm ''there''. But as soon as I try to move or look around I lose it and wake up.

Any advice?

Yeah Bluefirephoenix, I wouldn't be able to focus with migraine I don't think but obviously from. But I suppose something like Influenza or something that creates a fever isn't always painful and I just wonder if it's affects an NPR experience.

That's interesting to know Soarin12, to know that a migraine wouldn't hinder!

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Projecting when Ill or sick.
September 27, 2014, 07:52:20
Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences trying to or perhaps just naturally projecting while being ill or sick.
Are there any differences? Does it actually work? Does it matter as illness is physical (or is it?) My most profound experience was when I was very young and had a fever and my consciousness left my body on a few occassions to it's own devices. Since then I've only had lucid dreams with varying states of consciousness, some quite full and some not so.

Just curious as to what relationships there are with the physical condition of the body and our consciousness. I'm assuming It really shouldn't matter.

Rude! I'd be petrified!

I've literally lived the expression I shared above.
My perception of reality shifted at some point not too long ago... as a result, my life has changed completely, yet also not at all.  :)

I go back and re-read old spiritual / projection books... listen to the same lectures again and again... and I hear it all in a completely different way now.

My Life changed since I read 'the Power of Now'. I can't believe how much I would wander about lost in my own thoughts. I had a 'victim' persona that was turning me into a mess. So thanks to Eckhart who got the ball rolling for me. Funnily enough his material now seems a bit light compared other things I've read.
Since my perspective has changed I've lost a lot of fear and I'm happier about everything!
The only thing I was a little uneasy about is that everything started to appear dreamlike. The world seems to have lost it's solidity even though everything seems clearer and brighter!

That is EXACTLY what I love to hear about the Astral Pulse!
Much appreciated!

We work really hard keeping troublemakers to a minimum.  :)

You do well done!

In reference to further posts on this topic, I've not been around enough to know the site history and it's unfortunate there has been fallings out between founder members.
In terms of heated debates I've read a few but not noticed anything getting too personal.

I'd be wonderfully happy with AP at all! I think the general rule is do not run heavy machinery while under the influence of alcohol or the astral realm.
#21
Yes I understand what you're saying Lightbeam, but would it be possible to be driving a car while projecting, still with the ability to turn left if needed?
#22
There are books I've read about projecting while on the go but I think it might be for the extremely experienced. I'm slightly dubious about the possibility and the motive of wanting to do it. I wonder if the body would continue to function properly while the consciousness is focused elsewhere?

Yes Soarin12 it is very much the work of the moderators that keeps topics informative and debateable rather than childish arguments. And I thank you all for that. So far I have only come across a couple of instances in which an individual seemed to want to antagonise. They just get shot down in flames!
#24
I'm struggling with the that too! Although my lucid dreams are more frequent now. I've stopped trying now otherwise you can get put off with the whole thing.
People on here have said that leaving the body shouldn't be difficult as we are doing it every night. Unfortunately we are not always 'conscious' of it.

I think when we are ready we will stumble across our individual method. I think it's like a puzzle once you've been given the solution you never forget how.
But the problem is with projection the answer is with us already it's just a matter of it presenting itself.

I like Both! Although this forum is seems full of nice people. I've been on forums before and individuals can be a bit nasty just to get a rise out of people.
It's......serene here!
