Hi Xanth

Thanks for your reply. I do understand that it is used as a tool which is what I am using it for.

I am more or less trying these as I would in Phasing which is staring at the back of my eyelids which has the light coming in. I try to focus specifically at that and if thoughts wander, I steady them back to the eyelids and the lights. The sounds are more or less secondary.

Don't get me wrong - I would like the machine to work for me which is why I bought it. So I am very willing to give this a go, but I wanted to see if i was doing things incorrectly. It sounds like I need to give it more time and find a program that works for me. I will give Biomarker a go - thanks for the advice.

I wanted to give this a bump as I recently purchased the Kasina as well and I will give it more time, but at the moment, I haven't been as blown away as others here.

What I was looking for was something that would give me a chance to reach a Phase level while guarding against sleep. Perhaps I am doing this incorrectly (or need better headphones - I have Sennheiser earbuds which were better than the earbuds that came with it - those were to top heavy in range. Not enough bass), but it seems that this device isn't having the desired effect or at least yet. I have tried a bunch of settings and am toying with the idea of extending some of their shorter sessions to something longer or creating my own with Mulab.

However, this is the first sound and light device that I have ever used, so I am wondering if I am missing something? At the moment, I am a bit underwhelmed.

Can anyone here comment on this or potentially help me understand this device a little better?

Thank you for the replies. I am not doing Grimoire work - it is the Hermetic Qabalah.

I didn't mean to muscle in literally. More like continuing to work this - exercising in to make things easier - like an athlete would do with training. But it sounds like this is exactly what is needed, so I will keep training on both ends to bridge that gap.

Hi All

I have been doing this sort of stuff off and on and at the moment, am trying to get back into this to complement my magical practices.

One thing that I have noticed is that there is fine line between seeing the imagery and going in with too much consciousness which wakes you up and going in too close to the imagery as then it turns into a dream.

I am assuming that one would need to practice doing this over and over to develop a sort of 'muscle' to bridge this gap.

Can anyone comment on this?

Many thanks
