I can't help but Consider that this whole "parts of nonphysical body stuck to physical parts" is only brought on by the knowledge that this is what happens when you try to project and that the pre-visualization may determine the starting point where non physical control is affirmed and developed. Logically, correct me if I'm wrong, If you visualized yourself sitting upright in a canoe, wouldnt the trial be something like looking around, rowing, standing? I've read that all the sensory hallmarks described are consistent through AP but couldn't that simply be a preconception manifested?

I ask these things because Ive been practicing non physical visualization and interaction which has been yielding spontaneous conscious dreaming which is an etheric projection equal to AP right? Ive conciously spoken to strange communities inside of grocery stores, constructed sculptures from clay and have composed life forms in a white space etc. where all of which had non of the conventions of mobility.

Another great practice is focus on a point about 5ft to your right, then in back of you, to the left of you, in front of you, under you (this usually creates a feeling of levitating), then to overtop of you (this usually creates a feeling of rising). Now go back and forth between your focus on the right point and left point. Then do the same to the back and front points and lastly the up and down points. Feel the "tug o war" that is being created. Feel yourself being stretched in these directions.

My first few attempts with this technique produced some very visceral reactions. I decided to maintain the 'right to left' motion for about 6 minutes on my back and was overtaken by shifting that spanned about 2.5 feet. It wasn't a mental or imagined sensation - it was closer to something physical. I have the idea that anything non-physical should feel well, non-physical :?. Would my experience be considered a success?

I've been Attempting AP for the past 22 days and find myself losing some motivational momentum. I assume is from a lack of progress, but also from the loose eclectic technique I've been assembling and using. The introduction of a new technique hopefully will re-spark interest, but my problem is what to pick. :|

Are mid day techniques more difficult for entry level AP? Would it be better to adopt a method that demands waking up in the night or should I continue with a mid day process? I imagine that a method routed in between sleep cycles would yield a closer relationship to purely mental states, but I would like to have some insight! :-D
