thakyou very much owl!

Yeah i dont know why i have been lucky in getting projections, i really want to progress further to experience things that other people have talked about.

Thankyou for your help on that question, its kind of funny how we still get trapped up in the physical side of things even when we arent physical beings anymore

But thankyou for that it gives me hope for obtaining higher experiences.

But all i will say is that keep on trying because from just what i have experienced there is so much potential for many amazing experiences that could impact on our current life in the physical.

Cheers

Just had another projection tonight!

I found this method to work really well for me So this is basically it.

I cant sleep on my back at all so i choose this position to get into a relaxed state,

So i probably lay there for 30 - 40 mins concentrating on breathing and doing affirmations and things, all the while trying too keep those  thoughts in my head and now i roll over and assume my natural sleeping position (which is on my side) now i know if i am relaxed enough or not because when i go to change positions my legs are super heavy and i am feeling like i really want to sleep. So once i hit my sleeping position i just try as hard as i can to concentrate and hopefully the vibrations will happen.

Now that prob sounds a bit weird i guess but everytime i have tried it this way i have at least gotten to the vibration stage.

Now for the OBE

Got out of my body and decided to fly out of my house with the intention of getting to the astral, tried to make a doorway (dunno if you can do that but i tried) and that failed so i just floated up and let the wind take me (there has been a strong wind when i exit my house both times) i am forgetting where i went straight away, i remember popping out on a big blue grid thingy.

And i remember flying through a big green tunnel. And i ended up in some bar somewhere and then lost the OBE(maybe it was mixing dream imagery i dont know) and i ended up back in the vibrational state so i gave it another try, this time going straight into this green tunnel thing.

Now this part even to me seems a bit funny, i think because i had nowhere in mind to travel to, it feels like my base instincts took over and i remember asking my self if you can have sex while in the astral?!?! so i exit the tunnel and end up in this weird room (now i know this part is definately not a dream because i am doing clarity things and looking at my hands, going around and feeling things etc.) anyway i walk up a set of stairs and there is this beautiful girl there, i mean absolutely amazingly good looking and she starts walking over to me and then i am back in my body again. (all of this elapsed over what i would say about 15 mins.)

So the question i want to ask first and foremost does anyone else go through this base emotions/instincts kinda thing when they project or is it just me?

And Does anyone have dream imagery mix in with their OBE's ever?

And does anyone know any good methods of setting a destination/plan for when they try to project. Because i always seem to get overwhelmed with possibilities and i think this limits what i am able to acheive.
Sorry if the post seems a bit all over the place i just woke up after writing some stuff in the diary and i am slowly remembering things as they come to me.
So maybe try this method and see how you go with that it seems to work for me and i hope it does for you
Once again any help with my questions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Just had a strange experience this morning, i am just going to write what i wrote in my dream journal, feel free to share some thoughts on it if you like.

21st feb,

Weird experience.

I was dreaming about being in a car with my ex (who i am still friends with) my mum and my dad and a few other friends and we were driving past a mansion. We were talking about all the bands we have seen live, because for some reason or other the mansion was where bands played (dream logic lol) and all of a sudden the car went quiet and in the seat in front of me was my grandma (who passed away quite some years ago) and it was weird because i was suddenly really far away from her in the car and i kind of had to make myself drift forward to her. I knew i only had a short time to say i loved her (for whatever reason) and i remember doing that and hugging her and just saying i loved her over and over again. And for some reason in my ear i kept hearing my ex saying "Look, Tim is crying" over and over, and i knew for a certainty that everybody couldnt see what i was seeing, like i was asleep or something and i was experiencing something that they couldnt perceive (I dont want to say out of body because im not sure but it felt that way to me) all of a sudden my vision went black and i didnt wake up for a couple of seconds and felt the exact same feelings of reentering my body as my first OBE.

Very strange indeed, dont really know if it was a genuine OBE or just a dream, but it would be the first time ever i have dreamt about my grandma which is really strange in itself. So either way i am really happy it was an awesome way to start the day.

Thanks for that mate, i have had heaps of success getting into a super relaxed state the last couple of nights,

But just unable to reach the vibrational state, but i have been reminding myself during the day that to project is something i have accomplished once already so it is possible and will happen again when its ready.

I will just have to keep focused, im just wondering if i have more success in the morning after waking up, might set my alarm a bit earlier and try then aswell as doing it before i go to bed.

it was a really different blue to anything ive ever seen before i cant really explain since i havent seen it with my physical eyes before, everything had this surreal edge to it, What do you guys do to set your destination, do you tell yourself where you are going to go before you lay down and start relaxing ?

That was the biggest thing i struggled with, was deciding where to go and what to do, its like anything that pops into your head seems like a good idea hahaha something like "lets go fly around town" and you are just going "yeah why not!" it would be better obviously to have a set course/goal in mind for the projection, what is the best way to accomplish that so that the experiences arent wasted on trivial things?

And i was reading something last night that i think was posted by frank ages ago, that once you reach mind awake/body asleep instead of just hopping straight out of your body (which i did) just relax and let the vibrations pick up in pace and you will get slingshotted in to the astral ! has anyone tried this method at all? Because obviously just getting out of your body as soon as you can puts you in the real time zone.

Cheers

Yeah definately the blue i saw i can still recall it in my minds eye it was craaaaaaazy, and there was a really strong breeze blowing against me when i wanted to fly at first, but i just willed myself to fly what an amazing experience that was i cant believe how cool it felt, and i have never ever in my life flown in a dream so it was a new experience for me.

I tried again last night i find it alot easier now to organize my thoughts now to achieve relaxation, so i just have to trust that it will happen again when the time is right.

Next time though i think i am going to have to organize my thoughts better when i go in so that i know where i am going and what i am going to do, because it all feels so overwhelming when it happens, you just cant decide what to do with yourself. And i can definately see how people could get stuck in lower levels you could basically do whatever you wanted good or bad.

So i am hoping to have many more experiences with this and i will share them with you all as they happen.
Thanks once again to everyone that has given me any advice so far its greatly appreciated

Thanks guys,

Yeah it was pretty crazy, its the kind of thing that you wouldnt imagine is real untill it happens to you!

I am just going to keep doing what i have been doing and see what results i get, and keeping a journal of everything definately helps alot to be able to remember things that happen. I cant wait to get to the astral though and have a look around there.

It was strange because you have the urge to go and do so many things you cant decide what to do  :-P

But for anyone out there that is still trying to get there just keep trying and dont get frustrated when it doesnt happen, just try again the next day/night. I hope i am able to have more, but just that has left me with so much excitement for what might be possible.

Hahaha i just had one question is there an easy way to go through walls because bugger me if i could get through any lol  :-D i read about willing it to happen works?!?! maybe i just wasnt strong willed enough

Just had my first OBE this morning :-D

Cant remember my exact technique to get to Mind awake/Body asleep, i tried last night and nearly got there so i wnet to bed woke up around 8:30 am and just decided to give it another try i dont know how long it took all i remember is that my body shut down completely and i decided to try and get out.

First i tried to sit up but could only get half out so i did the roll and that worked. I tried to fly through the roof of my room but couldnt, but my door was slightly ajar so it let me open that. I got outside and WOW! the sjy was the most amazing colour so i decided to have a fly around for a bit. Then i lost clarity and woke up. I know it was not some crazy dream because i actually did the clarity now thing and chose to fly over a specific part of town near my house which is over the ocean which looked absolutely incredible!

Amazing experience for my first one i think reading on the forum has helped me so much so thanks to everyone that replied to my first post. Will definately try to go to the AP next time i think.

Just had a few questions.

Now that i have had my first one do you think it is easier to connect with how to do get into that state now, like a pathway has been established?

and should i just keep trying everytime i go to sleep/nap to have one ? Or do you only have them once a week or so?

Cheers

Ok, tried a few different things tried sitting up and just concentrating on the phase method, didnt yeild any results from that. Then tried phasing again laying down same thing, gave up and went to bed. Woke up around 3 AM which is strange because that usually never happens, so i didnt open my eyes i just stayed in my position and counted down from 50 each number repeating in my head that i WILL project (e.g 50 ..... i Will project 49.... I WIll project) i did that run throught about 4 times and then went to sleep as this method seems to be the best for me.

So i was having this super weird dream and in it i was holding a beer and something clicked in my head that i was dreaming so i was immediately sucked out of the dream into the vibrations and everything, now the funny part is my astral hands were still holding the beer!!!!! hahaha and in my half groggy state i was going to try an exit method but was worried i would spill the beer lol  :-D (go figure that logic) so i woke myself up to put the beer down and my hands were by my sides whereas when i had the beer in my hand it was up near my chest!

So i am going to assume this is progress albeit rather funny!

Haha its funny, i have read on here that it takes up to a year for some people to even experience any vibrations at all, i havent had an OBE yet but getting to that stage is exciting because i feel like im getting closer to that goal. I couldnt imagine having to try for that long before getting the slightest indication that it was working.

I think i will try the sitting up position tonight, i think it may be harder for me to get anything on my back, because i ahd a few crazy sleep paralysis episodes that really made me freak out. Ive definately had someone sitting on the end of my bed a few times  :-o But through having those experiences i actually found out about AP and OBE so im pretty happy they happened. I tried one time to get out of my body during sleep paralysis got about halfway out, was a strange experience definately wish i had known about this fantastic forum becuase it would have made that an amazing experience (because i can remember it so vividly)

I was also curious if it is possible to induce sleep paralysis if i have already had it before? has anyone heard of doing this?

ANd once again thankyou to all of you guys for replying and giving such awesome advice!

Ohhhhhh ! see i didnt realise how close i was to projecting once i get to the vibrations. Hahaha short term goal changed! Also another question i had (hahaha i am full of them) is atm i have just been laying down on my back and kinda just focussing on the blackness behind my eyes, just reminding myself to relax, and just noticing whatever images pop up behind there. If doing that is more like phasing will i not feel the vibrations and just "shift" a different state, it all seems a bit vague. So i thought i would ask!

Thankyou for all the help
#14
Haha that sounds like an interesting method! I might give it a try

I have read a fair few techniques on getting to the vibration stage through relaxing and all that, and the way im doing seems like it could be a bit random, as in it may work sometimes and not others. My short term goal is just trying to get the vibrations happening is that always a hard thing to accomplish for you guys or is it something with practice you can acheive all the time?

Thanks

Thanks for the replies everybody i am really appreciative,

I tried an exit method yesterday but i think i may have done it too quickly, it was weird i woke back up with the vibrations going on, and had the presence of mind to actually try and project but i think i was more worried about losing the vibrations, and in doing so tried to project too quickly instead of relaxing letting the vibes take place and projecting naturally. So i do think that maybe this is my way of getting to that stage so i might keep playing around with it.

Is it ok to try all of this at any stage during the day, say i have a day off work or whatever. Can i try multiple times during the day? i have read up on alot of topics around here and i get conflicting ideas so was just asking.

Once again thankyou for all your help
#16
Hey thanks so much for the response, i actually managed to do exactly the same thing again today! so as you said maybe that is my way of doing it for the time being, still its a bit of a shock to wake up into the vibrations, as apposed to being conscious(sp?) and feeling them happen. But maybe with more practice i wont lose them and finally be able to project but at least getting the vibrations is a good start.

I also have a hard a fair few sleep paralysis episodes, and once tried to get out of my body, half came out but got sucked back in.

One thing i did want to ask, when doing an obe from sleeping is it not as clear (as in more dream like) than one induced consiously?

Thanks for the help

come on ppl just a lil bit of insight would help me alot!!!

Hello all,

I have been reading quite a bit of stuff on the forum and am picking up a few techniques to try.

Just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on this.

Last night i did a bit of relaxation stuff, like just focusing on my breathing and repeating to myself that i would have an OBE, i did this for about 15 mins after that i started to tingle a bit but my heart rate always starts to speed up and brings my awareness back, and i have to start again. So i then tried some brainwave generator stuff i think the boxed nirvana preset and the same kind of thing happened. So i figured nothing was really going to happen because i was trying too hard so i just decided to go to sleep. I eventually fell asleep for a period of time, and woke back up with the vibrations going full on with a kind of pounding sound in my ears. It freaked me out because i had been fully asleep before this and woke up into it, once again i lost it after that. Is there anything i could be doing to get this right?

Any help or thoughts would be awesome thanks!
