I used the be the biggest skeptic out. I needed hard facts, referenced articles and so on before I would believe anything. When I heard about AP, different planes of existence and so forth, I thought it was a joke. It sounded crazy! Until one day it happened to me, my first AP experience absolutely changed my beliefs. It definitely gave me that bit of faith I never had. I guess some things can't be explained scientifically but I do believe it's real. We're just bound by the physical of our current life, if we're leaving behind the physical while AP, there must be life beyond death.

I couldn't agree with this statement more.   :)

I like how you put it, that karma is just "the universe getting back at you in future incarnations".  hehe  Really puts it into perspective.

The only karma people get met out is against their own spiritual growth in the form of "do you become a better person, or not"?

People think that's some kind of joke statement... but it's the PINNACLE of why you're here.  It's why you're existing.  It's the most important question to your consciousness since the invention of sliced bread.

It's certainly not "you do something bad, so something bad happens to you"... it's not that vindictive.  It's all based on a consciousness/spiritual level... and you do it all to yourself.  Take someone like Hitler for example (extreme, I know).  Most people expect him to be burning in some hell right now for his actions... well, I hate to break the news to you, but he's not.  His consciousness grew or reversed based upon his actions here.  He either spiritually grew, or spiritually retreated because of his actions.  He didn't/wasn't/isn't burning in hell...

I think that is true. But I think that's a very one sided view on karma. Yes it's similar to the whole 'sin' thing where it's based on fear so we avoid stepping out of line. I think it can also be viewed as redemption as well because based on our actions/intentions, it is what determines what'll come back to us. If it's bad karma, we have it coming, we learn from it and we change. Then there's also good karma, do good things, and good will come.

When you become lucid within a dream, wouldn't it be considered projecting? Because at that stage we are fully conscious right?

That's because you know that it was more than just a dream. I was the same with my first experience, it was amazing, I also was in a daze after I woke. initial stages of awakening :)

Hey! This is also my first day and first post here, feels great to be able to talk with people who have the same experiences!
The symptoms you're experiencing with the sleep paralysis and vibrations are definitely the initial symptoms of astral projecting. I used to experience the sleep paralysis for years and it freaked me out every time, until one day I just let it happen and tried to not be scared and that's when I experienced astral projection. In saying that! Though you should not let fear overcome you, you should still be on guard and protect yourself on the astral.
