Like Stookie says,
you've observed a couple key aspects already, and yes, the proper conditions can appear rather quickly and unexpectedly.

Keep in mind that you want to always maintain a curious, yet impassive, unemotional attitude when exit symptoms start happening...just let the process unfold and see what happens next, always trusting that you are safe and secure. It can get noisy and freaky! Just roll with it!

Devour as much information from this site and its archives as you can. It all serves to help direct and correlate what you are likely to experience...it sure did for me and still does. Like you said, 'without it I wouldn't be where I am'...I couldn't agree more.

See you out there,

EV

:-D

I'm going to take all I've learned and go for an honest attempt tonight. *I have an reversed sleeping schedule from what most people have*

And thank you so much for the vote of confidence.

Thank you!

Shouldn't be too long before I have a somewhat interesting experience.

I had just gotten out of a shower.
I felt somewhat relaxed.
So I took a seat, lights on, and closed my eyes, recalling the feeling I would get when I would meditate.
Instantly I felt numb. And heard a wavering in my ears (similar to the hemi-sync sound), along with a pronounced high pitched hiss.
After a while of embracing it, I opened my eyes and moved my body and it was all gone.

Does this mean anything?
Is it really possible that in those types of conditions, I could really achieve anything at all in that short amount of time.

Also, I heard something about gently focusing on that hiss to bring you to vibrations.
Any experience with that?

Also, thank you in advance guys.
If it weren't for this forum, I don't think I'd be anywhere near where I even am.

Still working on my first projection.
Maybe tonight will be the night.

Hmm..
It all seems very similar to where I'm at right now.

Especially the chest feeling like it's going a foot or more away from your body.

I also had one very small mini dream..
Lasted for about 4 seconds.
Though it wasn't all too clear, I still could tell exactly what was happening.

Thank you very much.
I'm determined to keep it up..

I have such a problem with dialog though..
Both my parents have it bad, and I have it worse.
So it's a bit of a struggle there.

So I was tired last night.
I turned on the Hemi-Sync track "Intro to F10".
I went through the motions.

I got extremely relaxed.
And it got to the point that when I took a deep breath, it felt like my stomach was expanding out a foot away from my body.
My head was still not entirely relaxed, my eyes were looking around..

And then about ten minutes down the line from that stomach feeling (I still had it), I felt some light spasms, and what felt somewhat like numbness in random spots. Were those "vibrations"?

Anything you guys could possibly help me out with here would be great.
Especially any tips on relaxing my head.

Cheers!

To be honest, it came from my fascination of the new Mastodon album, Crack the Skye.
It's just such a great story.

But now that I've read deeply into all this, it's so phenomenal.

I've yet to Project.
And I don't even know if I'm getting to Monroe's F3 right.
But someday..

Actually, one more question.
As I seem to find conflicting information in different areas..

Reaching Focus 10 and beyond is just as simple (yet seemingly difficult) as putting physical presence out of mind, along with the dialog, right?

And also, when I have tried meditating, and can get all the dialog out of my head for a moment, I feel this odd sensation in my legs.
Tingling almost. Kind of the feeling that they're expanding as well.
And it's nothing I've ever felt out of meditation.
But I do feel it each time.

Does this mean I'm doing something correctly?

Thanks very much for the assistance.
I will keep trying!

Cheers!

Thanks very much for that link.

What I got from it was that MABA is just a deep form of meditation, right?
And in theory, it can be practiced from a wide awake state, correct?

Now, I don't want to jump the gun and try and seek out more knowledge before the time comes.
But I like to be prepared.

What is a common... segway I suppose... from that state into Astral Projection?

Hey there everyone.
My name is Jeffrey.

I've just recently become interested in astral projection.
So tonight I attempted to achieve this..
But going in, I didn't really feel informed enough..
Still here's what happened.

I laid down in my bed, closed my eyes, and started breathing nice and slow.
I kept my thoughts focused.
I got my whole body to relax, except for my head really, because I found myself having to swallow from time to time.
Eventually it felt like it would be tough to move my limbs if I tried, but I was obviously fully awake.
Anyway, I continued.
I proceeded to repeat a combination of words in my head over and over.
I found myself decently relaxed.
And I felt a faint vibration on the surface of my skin.
I started to envision a golden spirit, and myself floating up to it.
And when I did that, I got the sensation that I was getting lighter, and very slowly floating up.
But then it was gone...
I repeated these steps a few more times, and nothing.

The whole time I was laying down was just over an hour.

Now I have a question.
Are you supposed to astral project from a relaxed, yet awake state? Or sleep paralysis?
Or is it something entirely different?

Any pointers would of course be great.

Cheers guys!
