Say someone makes a place to look a certain way on the astral. Then say they're the only ones who have been there so far. When they're not in the astral or not specifically thinking about that place on the astral, it can fade back to it's original form before it was created. But if someone thinks about it just like it was again, or goes back to it, it reforms. This follows quantum law and the observer effect, i.e. Schroedinger's cat (google it if you don't know)

It basically states that any object or particle (physical or otherwise) exists in all possible states at once until directly observed (or thought about). Then it assumes a state of existence

Has nobody realized that astral projection follows quantum law? This is big  :-D

I also think that, if you believe it to be easy, it should be easy to just recreate the original astral pulse island from a thought or memory. As long as someone keeps thinking about a specific place (and doesn't placebo themselves into thinking it's not there anymre) then it should remain there relatively unchanged. If atleast one person is there or even just thinking about it, it honestly doesn't have to be as difficult as some people make themselves believe

Thank you :D

As someone with ADHD, talking is easiest compared to typing or writing. You just saved me a whole journal's worth of writing xD

And as for people saying you need to concentrate not to fall asleep? I couldn't fall asleep if I TRIED during an attempt. I've only unintentionally fallen asleep twice in my entire life, and they were both in the shower and not during an attempt

Because everyone needed to know that. But yeah, people don't seem to realize how individual they are.

If a guide for the keeping still method is what you want, then I guess I'll give you one. Although most people are cautious to give guides to others, because you're really supposed to listen to yourself and develop your own method. You should know more about what methods work for you than any other being in existence, even if you have no experience. I'm able to tell what will work for me before I even try it.

But at any rate, there isn't one single way to do any method. Each one has infinite different ways you can do it. But I'll give you my version of the keep still method;

I turn off my lights, make sure I won't be disturbed, and lay on my back. Arms down, not touching either of my sides but close. Legs far enough apart not to touch. Then I just go completely limp. I don't try not to move. I basically just make sure I'm not sending any conscious signals to any of my muscles. Involuntary twitches are fine, don't try to stop them, just stay limp and let the twitches pass. And keep in mind, the question your asking about staying aware? I don't think you understand that people do it both ways with equal success. I personally just stay aware of the buzzing in my head, that's what works best for me. Other people don't focus on anything. Whatever works for you. But if you're thinking that there's one specific way to do this, or one best way? Nope, there are infinite different ways to do each and every method, and nobody can tell you what's best for you. Only you can :)

The thing I am sort of afraid of is relaxing too much to the point where I am not thinking and my body is totally numb and I cannot feel it but yet because I am not supposed to really be thinking, then I will miss the opportunity or my cue to project because I would be too relaxedand unaware.

That's a possibility but people need to honestly remember it's not like missing a bus :-P

You miss one chance to astral project, it's fine. No harm done, screw up as many times as you like. Retry and change the mistakes until you get success  :-D

I remember having a very very vivid dream of someone I had a crush on, it was a very long one, we went on some sort of adventure type quest together for some reason and then I woke up. Later that day I had a flashback, the most absolutely vivid I've ever had. The dream was overlayed in my vision for a few seconds and I got the same feeling in my stomach as when you drop on a rollercoaster. Weird experience but nothing came of it

I am absolutely ADHD like crazy and this method is actually the one I prefer. It sounds weird, but I've been attempting for 8 days and have made crazy progress. I'm honestly maybe halfway to projecting or more. I can stay in sleep paralysis for an hour and a half, and hold vibrational stage for 2 whole seconds now

The key is to just think 'ragdoll' and lay completely limp. Ignoring itches is easy for me now and I don't try to stop twitches. I just let them happen and refocus.

So I've been on the r/astralprojection reddit most of this time, this is my first post here.
Over on the reddit someone commented on a post that dream journals can help when you're trying to project because you're recalling 'events from the astral'
Whatever your beliefs on that are, it's probably no secret that vividly remembering dreams would help you to project.

But I'm terrible with dream journals. I just can't find the will to type or write when I wake up after a dream. I've always hated writing but for some reason I prefer it to typing for dream journals. But I'm also artistic. So I was thinking, maybe drawing scenes from my dreams in vivid detail along with writing them, almost like a dream comic, would help motivate me as well as making dream recall much easier for me. Throw in as much sensory description (sound, touch, smell, and any other senses) as I can and then I'm retraining my brain for extreme vividness.

This could possibly lead to lucid dreaming for me also. Although I once asked my grandpa while in a dream, "Is this a dream?" to which he replied, "Yes" and the dream still wasn't in my control. So.. Weird I guess? But I hope this dream journal thing helps someone who has similar issues with dream journals  :-P
