Welcome to Integral Philosophy! / philosophy and drugs
September 22, 2003, 22:11:03
How many of you have tried marajauna?  How many of you have successfully travelled on the asral plane using marajauna? For those of you who haven't I recomend that you do. I had a lot of philosophical experiences this summer and I got so wrapped up in them that I had no time for astral pulse.  Plus I was working but know I am back so all is well.  Weed momentarily alters the chemicals of your brain and opens you to more philosphical methods of thinking.  I think that used in the propper fashion weed can be a great tool.

Do you believe that everything is possible?  Or do you believe that there are certain things that cannot be accomplished?

I had these dreams about a year ago.  God I hope this is not a prophecy.  They happened
in a trilogy fashion with the last dream coming first.  I had each of these dreams almost
every night for three months.  It took me about nine months to get through the whole
trilogy.
First-last Dream 2009A.D.
I wake up on an island (I believe it is Manhattan) somewhere in the Atlantic.  The sky
above is black lightning fills the air and it is very windy.  I think I should be dead but
then I remember that I can't die.  I stand up and half limp half walk down to the shore to
wash my wounds but never get the chance to.  One huge lightning bolt burst through the
sky illuminating the ocean around the island.  In the water are thousands upon thousands
of human corpses.  In the distance I see a completely devastated city (New York).  The
sky above the city is filled with smoke and ash.  Out of the darkness behind me runs a
woman.  She is the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen.  Then I wake up.

Second Dream 2009A.D.
I am in the only remaining human community in the world.  I am standing in a building
(appears to be camber of commerce) before a judge.  The judge offers me a billion dollars
and I laugh because I know that in this world money is useless.  He then asks me what I
want and I say "Power".  He tells me that he will give me anything so long as I perform
the task which I am instructed to do.
My job is to rid New York city of mutants and radiation.  I start on the two hundred mile
journey from wherever I was to New York City.  All I carry are rations (bread, cheese,
and water) ,my weapons (Wolfbane, (my sword)potassium chlorate hand granades and my
trusty Maser rifle) and a whole lot of incense.  I am wearing leather armor and an ankle
braclet with a pentagram on it.  I get to New York and start a fire in the middle of the city
next to the only remaining  building and dump the incense onto the fire.  Then I climb on
top of the building and wait with my rifle mounted over the edge.  The sky above me is
pitch black and all around me is desolation.  Out of the darkness that surrounds me shapes
start to appear and I start to snipe them off one by one, but then the battery on my maser
rifle runs out.  I jump off the top of the building and levitate about a foot from the ground.
All around me the monsters are closing in.  I bend down and push a button on the ankle
bracelet and a yellow sphere of energy surrounds me.  I pull Wolfbane from it's sheath
and ready for battle.  Then I wake up

Last-first Dream 2006A.D.
My father and I are in the forest hunting.  I wonder about 100 yards from camp into the
forest when I see the deer.  The dear is a golden yellow color has fangs and blood red
eyes.  It is chewing on the body of another deer that is lying on the forest floor beneath it.
This scares me significantly as you can imagine so I start to walk back to camp at a fast
pace.  I get about half-way back when I notice that the deer is following me and foam is
coming from it's mouth.  I start to sprint back to camp and the deer gives chase.  Just as I
reach my dad's truck the deer catches me and stabs me in the back with it's antlers.  It then
proceeds to bite me on the neck.  Just as it bites me my Dad comes crashing through the
undergrowth rifle in hand.  He takes a second to aim then fires.  The bullet catches the
unwary deer in the vitals and it goes down.  My dad and I jump in the truck and try to start
the truck.  The deer jumps at the window and busts it as we pull our of the campsite.  It
tries to chase us but is to slow.  Then it starts to make this weird barking noise.  Out of the
forest all around us comes a huge pack of Golden yellow wolves with red eyes.  I hear my
dad yell holy bonk and I then jump into the back seat.  I climb through the cab window into
the camper shell and pickup the rifle that lies on the bed of the truck.  Then I throw up the
camper shell window, rest the rifle on the tailgate, aim and start shooting the wolves.  It
does not even affect them, they just keep chasing us.  Later back in Cheyenne we are
telling the authorities about the incident when we hear about my aunt and uncles divorce
trial.  It turns out that  my uncle Pat beat my aunt Lin.  We are asked to attend the trial.  I
notice that my cousins hair which is normally black is blond and I ask him if he bleached
it.  He replies no and I say, "That's odd, probably just to much sun."  He replies, "Yeah
that must be it."
We sit at the trial for about an hour and then all of the sudden my cousin jumps out of the
pew and bites the guy sitting in front of him.  He looks I my way and I see that his eyes
are blood red and he has grown fangs just like the deer.  Everyone panics and heads for the
same exit.  Andrew meanwhile is biting as many of the fleeing people as possible.
2007
Everyone on the west coast is infected.  The East coast in almost completely infected.  The
Army and airforce are having trouble keeping people isolated in these areas.  A cure has
been found for those who have been able to resist the urge to spread the disease (in other
words if you have not bitten someone you can be cured.)  But there are very few who can
resist the urges.  The vaccine flows in my veins.  For a little while I had to be locked in a
mental facility because the cravings drove me mad.  My hair is still blond, I still have
fangs and blood red eyes and I am immortal but the cravings are gone.
2008
The virus has spread even further.  The four sides of the United States are infected all of
Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia are infected.  Most of South America is infected.  The
monsters have adapted to be able to meld with their surroundings.
2009
Ways of killing them have been found, Masers and potassium chlorate grenades.  They are
attracted by Dragon's Blood.  The government wants me to take back New York.  Then I
wake up.

These dreams were so vivid that some nights I would wake up and fell pain in arms and
legs where I had been cut in the dreams.  They are etched in my mind and will never go
away.  I have a strange ability that allows me to be able to change my dreams to suit my
desires and to wake myself up if necessary but no matter how hard I tried I could not
change these dreams and I could not wake myself up.

I am not against anyone who does worship god I was just wondering why?  No supreme life changing event has altered my beliefs.  I have no religion but I tend to lean towards satanism.  So yeah i was just wondering if anyone has proof of the existance of god.

Welcome to Dreams! / strange experience
May 15, 2003, 18:06:58
I need some help explainind this strange experience.  One day my brothers dog had puppies.  The mother of the puppies led them out on to this three hundred acre parsel behind our house.  We went onto the parsel to find the puppies and split up to cover more ground. I headed south by south west towards this hill it soon got dark and we had still not found the puppies... then i stumbled upon this shack in the middle of the parsel in a small valley.  The shack had a chimney and there was smoke coming from it.  My curiosity got the best of me and I decided to enter the shack.  In the middle of the shack was a puddle.  The puddle appeared to be six inches deep but i throw a rock in it and saw it go through the bottom[:O]  I then proceeded to stick my arm in the puddle my arm went through the bottom of the puddle.  When i pulled my arm out it was not wet.  I was scared and awed but remembered that i was supposed to find the puppies so I continued on my way...The next day i returned to the spot where i previously saw the shack to discover that it was no longer there.  I came there the next night and it still wasn't there....One year later: I start having wierd dreams about the shack they are always the same.  I start outside of the shack and then go inside.  I walk up to the puddle and jump in.  I slide for what seems like a long time and land on the shore of a giant lake of fire.  There are millions of people on pikes scattered throughout the lake above are dragons blowing fire into the lake.  the peoples bodies are schored and constntly burning in the middle of the lake is an island and on the island in a huge fortress.  I step into the lake and start to walk towards the fortress.  all around me i hear the screams of the damned but the fire can not harm me.  I reach the island and walk up the steps to the entrance of the fortress.  When i enter I see satan sitting on his throne on the far side of the room.  He glances at me and bids me take the seat beside him.[}:)]All around me demons are bowing and calling me their king and then I wake up.  Is this puddle the gateway to hell?  Am i the antichrist?

Welcome to Integral Philosophy! / philosophy and drugs

Drugs are bad don't do them.  Okay now that my cover is established lets get down to the basics.  Marajauna is proven to be a safe drug by the state of nevada, it is proven not to kill brain cells and it is very relaxing.[:P]  There are experiences that can only be had using drugs, as with any other theme. Marajuana is completly harmless by itself, but coupled with someone who cannot control there own body and mind.  Besides sooner than later they will have to make it legal because they will have so many teenagers on probation or in juve.  If you smoke weed every day and drink a gallon of water every day there is no way they can detect marajuana in your sytem.

I've never thought of it like that.  That is a very er.. funny way of looking at things but it makes perfect sense.  I am seriously considering odinism.  But what I will always have that urge for immorality so i guess you could call me an immortalitist as well.

Children are told there's no such things as ghosts, and we all know that children are very impressionable.

Didn't i say something like that in a previous post?[;)]  You should read Monsters by John Michael Greer.  It talks about that general concept quite a bit.

the earth is an outside influence is it not.  You are be no less "closed minded" than I.

I was debating not tring to change his/her mind.  There is a difference you know.  Debating is a process by which new ideas are produced.  you decide what to do with those ideas personally, you can either except them and add on to your personsal theories and idealogies or discard them and live in ignorance.  I am merely tring to learn from this experience I am not trying to convince anyone that my ideas are the only way to think.

You are absoluty correct.  Islam itself does not promote violence.  The teachings of muhhamad were very much like the teachings of Jesus.  Love you neighbor and all of that bull honkey.  It is radical groups like the Al Quida and the Taliban that promote violence and bloodshed.
#13
You are right James.  All of the faith in the world will not help you, you can not truly know that something or somebody is real until you experience it yourself.  People can mock you and criticize you all that they want but there is no way that they can prove the validity of your statement so they criticize your beliefs to comfort themselves.  However, a belief system that makes absolutly no sense and which holds no water and furnishes no proof is a belief system that I refuse to follow.

I got lectured, I got prayed over on several occasions to be released from the "deceptions of the devil", all because I wasn't content to be one of their sheep. Some ministers seem to like the fact that their parishoners are like sheep, and they try to use scriptures to support that. To me being a sheep is being nothing more than a mindless follower.

Thank you those are the exact reasons I have left the church.  I am glad to know that I am not the only one who believes this.

You have never experienced the joy of christianity. How can you say stuff without any backround? I AM A CHRISTIAN. YOU ARE NOT. So wouldnt i know more about christianty than you?

How can you say this?  Do you know everone on this forum personally?Have you even met anyone else on this forum?  For your information I was a mormon for 10 years.  I have read the bible more than once.  I used to be a very devout christain that was until i realized that the people of the church were close mindedb fools who tried to control the very soul of my being.

You guys crack me up[:D]  Why are we still talking about zetas?  Lets talk about asteroids and argue about the end of the world because that is VERY porductive.[;)]

That is kinda like the theoriy that we all have our own god.  If that were true then the god would have to be a topa ar some other creation of the mind.  So does that mean that if you fought and defeated your own god you become a god?
#18
So see it is impossible for you, in your current state(no knowing how) without any outside influence (divine or astral) to travel faster than the speed of light.  It is physically impossible for anyone without the use of machinery, concious or unconcious alteration of the physical body, or divine intervention to travel faster than the speed of light is it not.  How would you?  You can't if you don't know how.

I agree no leaf clover.  I think we should clone individual organs if that is at all possible.  As for you bomohwkl I dissagree.  If god did exist and he was powerful and intellegent enough to create universes ou of dust particles, then why does he need us to worship him?  Is it because he is not unconfident of his own power or is it because HE DOES NOT EXIST[:O]  Wouldn't it be odd if god didn't exist until someone thought him up?  What if he now exists, as a topa, because people believe he exists?  Like Queen Mab from Merlin.  It is just a theory so don't make fun of me!!  That would explain all of the contradictions in the bible would it not.  If he does not exist then that would explain why everone has different views of him now wouldn't it?

You are right no leaf cover.  I was in a time bind when I was typing that post because we are not supposed to get on forums at school.  What, I meant was almost every religion.  I know what you were saying about buddhism but in the five seconds that it took me to type that post and logout before the teacher saw me, I failed to realize that.  Okay so almost every religion claims that they are the true church.  When I say church I am not talking about the individual but about the religion in general.  Many, many churches try to suprres the ideas of their members and call those who don't allow them to false prophets.  Then again alot of the ideals of some churches make absolutly perfect sense.  The other day a girl was telling me that we should go back to the old ways and forget modern technology, and science.  I replied, "If it were not for science we would not have medicine, were it not for medicine we would not be here.  The black plague would of wiped us out, and were it not for science we would still be monkeys."  That is why I do not follow the ideals of any paticular religion.  It is rediculous that the christians will not us practice cloning, it could do nothing but help.  It would allow us to more fully administer organs to those in need and it would open the door to future advancements in medical technology.  So, does it make any sense to you to not allow cloning?  Or do you believe that it is immoral and wrong?  I believe that the benifits out weight the consequences but that is just my opinion.

Every religion claims themself as the one and only true religion, so how can you call that open mindedness.

When i get very angry, which rarely ever happens, my vision becomes blurry and everything seems red.

You don't have to meditate to have insightfull dreams though.  I've noticed that if i work out until i am exhausted i have insightful dreams.  If you workout until you pass out they become very wierd.  But I share thgoughts with my dog all of the time.  He is actually very intellegent.

I don't know about hairy elephant's with three eyes but were you not just telling me not to scare the zetas?

Believe me I'll know when I am getting in over my head and so will you.  In fact the whole world will know.  I have summoned demons before, I have made an invisibility potion with the help of Baal for christ-sake!  So do not presume that I am in over my head.  [}:)]
