my body tells me that i develop my energybody when i work with it and my brain tells me that i develop my attention on the energy body and what is happening in it. a combintation maby...

it would be interesting to hear about the apperance of the energybody. is the energybody hanging dead on some people..?
i mean can healthy people have sleeping energybodies?

the attention seems to be related to the development quite strongly.
its so hard to grasp this energything for me. will things be clearer if i learn to see the energybody? is it able to study it and understand it properly without reading a lot of books?

best

good morning folks.

heres a question on NEW.

for me its quite easy to raise energy when the hands or feet are free but when im for example riding my bike. the natural raising ends. its written that you should keep your attention on the subnavelarea for this type of raising but its just not possible. i cant localise such a spot under my navel in my daily life. so should i go for the knees or the hmm... maby the mouth or nose since theyre containing exchangeports..?

feel free to just write about your own raisinghabits. it can give someone a kick in the right direction.

thank you

good evening folks.

i wonder about how people on this forum look upon true or false.
are you thinking alot and are you keen on having evidens. ofcaurse i can see that many are.

personally i think that we can keep ourselves more open if we choose not to look upon things as true or false. but how does that stick with morality for example? sometimes it feels like i fake morality just to be more normal. its kind of wierd and im far from being a terminator but i think destruction is beutiful when seen from far away. i dont feel bad because of that. can one fight for something that is good with this in mind?

good evening.

i have had a pressure on my forehead for some months. it is allways there if i focus on it, especially when i develop energy. it seems to be the most energysensetive part of my body and it steels my attention. i read in the online NEW book that you shouldnt fill the subbrowchackra directly, so my question is- am i actually filling my subbrowchackra when i have this heavy sensation in it all the time. if thats the case. how can i stop filling it without stoping the energyraising? by ignoring it?

thank you!

thank you. the thing is, that time was filled with very much bodily sensations, just after a meditationcourse. and these strong sensations made me happy, sad etz. so ofcaurse there were thaughts at that time. i couldnt really handle all the sensations and im in the same situation now most of the time. the sensations are more gross now. maby thats why i dont feel/think much pleasure. but why should pleasant sensations be better to work with than unpleasant? yeah... ohh... its just that i cant really handle what im into now.
i have learned that its not enough to meditate cos if you do it "wrong" you wont come out of the sufferings. ..and thats a good experience.

im not into labeling certain sensations as good or bad,

jiola - i understand what you mean. i have done the "right things" all my life it feels like. this includes being nice to people when i am angry and trying to perfect my maners. this non acceptance of my evil half is not good... i see myself running into walls and getting smashed to the ground from time to time, and those are no thaughts, more like pictures and impulses... so this evil 50% side of me tries to kill me? why?

thank you everyone for sharing! i to were in this state where things were very funny and a few minutes later i were in hell, and then back again, and at both the places at he same time... and many other states ofcaurse. jihoo! really nice i thaught. something was really happning! but this turned to more and more bad emotions, i never had no breakthrough and now i just try to get rid of the bad emotions through various techniques- watching TV, listening to music, daydreaming etc. i suppose something went wrong for me... im sure its possible for me to just "do it" and sometimes i do, but most of the time i just run and hide, and i blame myself alot to. as i write this i feel so pathetic... being so sad. did something went wrong there?

please, if you think of something that could be of help (much on this thread have allready been) yes but, i think that what i try to say is that everything is up to me after all, but at the same time as its true its just another bad reason for me not to take advices.

this thread have really taken some interesting turns since the last time i read! its really in present tense... cool.
its so good to hear that others also feel fragile from this training!

goodday!

i personally believe in love though living in the system. yes i know that they take my money and that sweden is producing loads of wepons for destruktion of this nice planet and many people in this world.
the understanding of this mind/matterphenomena is important for me now-what is this shame for being involved in this system? what is this attraction to coffey, sugar, and te? how do i actually feel when eating three steaks in a row?

i believe that peace within is possible even though the outside circumstances are really bad, and i think that compassion is a frank-natural state of mind. call it jesuscrap or whatever... and no need to feel offended because what we write here is only things we... write.

frank, in one breath you talk about how you have always been looking upon others anger as their problem and your reaction as you problem and some posts later you seem to be so angry yourself because of what others here on the forum is writing. do we have some kind of reaction here? im not sure because people from france yell more at each other naturally (not franknaturally)

hello heter and welcome.

there are no pure info on this forum, just discussions about various techniques and stuff that people here are into. if you want info on the "N.E.W system" go to www.astralpulse.com and click on the link "training" and then go for the N.E.W link i suppose.

these very basic questions is not very popular here on the forum, if you have more of them you can send a PM (personal message) to me or someoneelse on this forum. you simply click on the name of someone and then "send email". thats it in rough. good luck!

hurray!

i really think that we can learn so much when being present.
my experience is that it gives insights, direct knowledge. but only if we keep ourselves detatched. when the mind (maby unconsious, the mind is very deep) reacts, being in thie greyzone between suffering and not suffering we have other things to reveal about ourselves. when this habitpattern of reaction works freely and is fed, then there might be a feeling of martyrship, but can someone that is totaly balanced with everything, be it physical, mental... just watching it come and pass away be a martyr?

its all about how we interpret what comes our way, things that break the habitual interpretations seems to have the effect of making people interested. paranormal, stuff, golf... shooting a white ball? wow!

hi frank! jonas- not "someone", dont be shy[;)]
i went so far saing that avoiding people is running away. and i hmm... dont know... people that have come out of addictions to drugs, should avoid their old friends ofcaurse... at the same time i think that if be beleave we can control things we will be very cofused when we loose our arm in a treefallingaccident on our daily jogginground.

hello everybody.

i just have another point of view here... it really sounds great that long walks in the forest, healthy foods and daily meditations will rid us from problems. im sure its a very good base to build upon but in my opinion the past will not just go away that easy. ive been through very "bad emotions" during the last few years, and my meditation has made them come up easier i suppose.

so, all these things is so valuable, to eat healthy and not use intoxicants and so on, but dont expect it to be a dance on roses only. bad times will come, its natural and nothing to worry about.
if we have stress in us, its good when it comes to the surface, just stay calm about it and it will pass away, atleast i hope so!

goodevening denmark!

i would like to share some thoughts about this count to ten and
breath deeply technique.

isnt it quite the same as saying - do something totaly different
and you get out of the anger.

i mean, counting to ten has nothing to do with the state of mind youre in, so, you just switch focus to something else, and also to breath deeply has nothing to do with the anger itself. the breath has very much to do with the anger if it is not forced into something it
is not at the moment though. i just cant see how this technique has  to do with here and now when it starts with the very running away from it?

wonderful show! thank you! 12 points... 12 points from sweden

thank you very much denmark!

thats really interesting. so nice to hear that people find this observation of sensations to be important!

what is the differece between the physical body and the energybody due to your research? i mean, isnt it just different ways of looking at the same thing? only that some sensations are subtle and some are gross? and the gross is subtle, and the subtle is gross. just different planes of the same thing? the materia.

tack! /jonas

hello!

many here says that "the forums we have now will remain the same".
that sounds good but i dont think its true on the actual level.

it maby seems very harmles, only ten dollars... better discussions.
i think it is indeed very harmful for the forum that will loose its greatest treasure. the most advanced practioners.

bat at the same time, if these people is not willing to help others there is no way to maintain this forum universal and for all. in my eyes this is the very big step from universal to sectarian.

a special forum for americans with paypal(?) over eighteen and so on.
one place where the stupid, afraid and/or poor ones can fumble around, and one for the whitetrash. unfortunately, that is the signals this thing gives me.

i am very disapointed but if this is what the majority wants, sure.
at least i will drop of from the second best forum on the internet.

hello!

i have some thoughts about the choises we have when we vote.
the first one is simply "yes i would welcome..." the second is "no, i have no interest in joining..." and the last, "i have no particular position..."

i dont think it leaves any room for people like me who think that this is a very bad idea, because of many reasons. most of them is allready mentioned.

as it is this is a selfless service, so dont allow it to grow to something that is just like the rest of this world. what people give on these forums is their own experiences, ideas, thoughts and help. no matter who you are and what youve been through, thats the unity, and thats the most important thing i think. and not only for the "small" ones being able to talk to more experienced but also the other way around. to give sevice and work with patience is not small things.

hello! seems like you have some problems with what others is saying.

buddha wanted us to be sweet as milk and water.(?)
the american interptretation is, sweet as coffie and sugar.(i suppose) at the time we get upset we start hurting ourselves! thats what buddhas teaching is all about as i understand it. to me buddhas dhamma is not a religion. dhamma is not buddhism. dhamma is universal, no matter who you are.

so, if someone comes to us with something that loos like a piece of excrement,(ignorance for instance) we must not get angry. (eat it)

very best!

hello voodooflower.

i have some thoughts on this with sensations. its the only thing i have really been into so... everyone may not agree with me on this but... sensations is anything you feel. everything in this world is built up of energy. so whatever sensation you feel, it is an energysensation. pain for instance is an energysensation, what else could it be? we must not look for anything extraordinary. sit for one hour in the same position and energysensations is bound to come, they are there all the time. at first your mind wanders very much and the sensations you feel are quite gross. pain, itchings etc.

not favourising any sensations, and feel depressed when having painful sensations we are bound to reach states when we feel very subtle sensations throughout the body.

so my advice is that you simply stick with whatever sensations you have at the time and understand their characteristic. they are all rising and passing away. every single one! so, dont cling to pleasant subtle sensations, they will pass away! and dont feel depressed when the pain comes, it will dissapear also. it will ruin your meditation to feel dissapointed.

everyone have heard this before- just observe. but its very difficult ofcaurse.

the not very good thing about NEW in my opinion is that the balance of the mind towards sensations is not practised. you are just suposed to feel them and thats it. if one starts understand the characteristic of the sensations, surely it is very good, one will be able to change ones behaviourpattern with this base of knowledge, but if one keeps on reacting with craving for subtle sensations and averion towards unpleasant ones, one will not be able to understand this mind/matter-phenomenon in the right way.

the subconsious mind is allways in contact with bodily sensations, and builds up your personality from what is happening in the meeting between these two. NEW is one of the ways to consiously get down to this level. and from there you can do really good stuff, for yourself and others!

so, no sensations? stay cool, dont get upset and do the itching-thing patiently, whatever is there is a sensation.

"i have so much pain master! but no sensations..."

good luck with the feeling of bodily sensations!

i think it would be best to try one technique. meditation is not one thing. i suspect many people on this forum have their own meditationtechniques. so, whats your aim? to get energized and get a kick? to become calm and concentrated? to gain insight? to become more relaxed? to disappear for a while? to become more sucessful?
or all these at the same time? to have an honest answer to this is probably quite good beginning.

good luck!

be happy!

Welcome to Metaphysics! / kinds of meditation
July 08, 2004, 05:02:21
this meditation is a really confusing thing to many. maditation is this, meditation is that. the thing is, people call anything from light relaxion to deep trance meditation. and unfortunately people sit down for sometime, very keen on learning how to meditate. most likely they experience something, maby a pink elephant that they see, and those pink elefants become meditation. "ohh! come sweet elephant!
where did you go? sweeeeet eeeeleeephanttt..." , or this or that state of mind becomes the goal...

seeing elephants is not very useful, but a blank mind could be!
maby its relaxing you. or you can use it for getting better at this or that.

i myself practise vipassana meditation and i so much want to tell about it, it means so much to me. for me vipassana is the only proper use of this blank mind, or concentration. but unfortunately for us all, this is the wrong forum to go into detail on this.
it seemd so strange to me in the beginning, that the ten day courses that are arranged almost in every country is free from charge. its not a sect, its not a belief. but i can see why that is now...

have a nice day and send a message if you are interested

you are talking about tinitus? its when cells
in the ear die and start to give a constant signal to the brain
that sound should be heard. for some musicians it realy is a problem.
the next step (before insanity i suppose) is hyperacusis. when one start to experience sounds as louder than thay are, and more hurting to the ear.

ive also noticed that the sound becomes louder and different when meditating, i think it is the perception not the sound that changes. its a good litle indikator actually. i dont recomend this at all but if you want tinitus you can go to a very loud rockconcert without earplugs and stand as close to the louspeaker as possibe. but... dont do that... you can probably find some allready in your ears just as intruderx did.

hi, i am also0 interestet in buddhism and enjoyed reading the questions and answers. i have read almost nothing about buddhism as a religion but i know things about vipassanameditation from courses and some books. so buddhism is not buddhism to me. the one thing i know is this meditationtechnique of vipassana. (www.dhamma.org)

i once talked with someone who had experience in zen and we just laughed as kids understanding each other perfectly well. so my question is, how can two so very different meditationtechniques come from the same scripts? vipassana is observation of the minds influence on the body and vice versa, and zen is, i guess, so much more mental, at least more not physical. why is this? does anyone know of a good site about zenmeditation?

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Ego
June 05, 2004, 04:07:58
hello makoto!

good question. i think there is a big difference between losing the ego and fighting the ego. only understanding of the I makes it smaller, fighting builds up tension. in the beginning the I is very much needed for development i believe. someone said the ego is like a boat- you dont need it when youre on the other side.
does the river need boats? it pretty much doesnt care about boats.

so my answer is, the more understanding of the I, the smaller the I becomes, and the greater the sympaty for other people with problems. because its quite often the same kind of problems we have... sadness, hate, desires and so on.

i dont believe there is a way to live an egoistic life and reach the final goal, but we can surely reach other goals that the ego find interesting, AP, TK, PK etc, but not understanding the ego.

bye! /jonas

hello everyone.

i have tried this tuchingthingsthing now for fifteen minutes...
and i would like to share my thaughts.
the vibrations is nothing else but vibrations. thats the first thing.
i think its all about how carefull and sensetively you tuch the objects. in my opinion its a pure physical sensation, you can hear the fingers kind of jumping very fast on the object. thats what makes the sound. its probably much more difficult to feel if you have very dry hands. sometimes it works well to go fast with the hand and sometimes its easier to go very slow.

the most important, the fingers, hand, arm, (body, house, world...)
is actually vibrating for real. no mumbojumbo in this case.
tell me if you disagree with me.

maby its a very good thing to do to be more sensetive. does anyone here have a picture or description of one of those psiwheels. it would be nice to give it a try.

hello

as i understand it karma is not merely something that makes us live for one round more if we dont live up to certain things. and it should not be seen as something that force us to perform good deeds out of fear. thats what its not. "now is the moment of power" is a good way to put it i think. if we keep reacting in the same manner the same things will happen. and truely the same things have happend to mankind over and over again... for a quite long time. at least thats my opinion. its when we break that chain of behaviour that is built upon habit and lazyness that the "real" world gradually comes to us. or the other worlds. we understand more and more about things and eventually we understand that there is no me to be, and that this something (me) have the power to just stop and that the only way to stop is to stop. and after that we will never be reborn again. there is nothing to be reborn anymore. and when you are in this state of meditation you maby telepatically tell your teacher that you have found out the meaning and that you now understand that there really are nothing! suddenly you hear a big bang and starts to feel a great pain in the area of your face. you look up at your teacher sitting in front of you. smilingly with a baseballbat in his hand. "what was that then?" he says. "start again, start again!"

i heard that story some days ago and just wanted to share it.

hello wynn!

i have this problem to quite often. i dont pay much attention to it though. i dont think its good to get stuck on a thing like that. keep focusing on the task. your brain will probably sing the song all the time and when you realise your singing you just have to tell yourself. i can now see that im singing a song, dont get into the song but watch it objectively, thats important. and also to not get upset, and to see it as a failure, cause something good has happened! you realised that you sang a song! after noticing you should go back to the focus for concentration and try your best focusing on that. whatever happends, just watch it. even if you get upset, just watch it, knowing that it will go away, maby not this day or week or even year, but that it will go away just like you and me is a fact, and if you get upset its because you dont understand that fact fully, and not many do, but just watch it, cause the not understanding is any minute changed into understanding. thats exiting and thats why we should keep our attention all the time. trying to hard is good but trying in the wrong way is bad.

regards
