HEY EVERYONE!...Last night I had 3, back-to-back lucid dreams. :D

They wernt "fun" per se, but rather repetitive and random at the same time. lol

I wont go into much detail about the dreams since they are a little hard to remember and they were so messed up and confusing I wouldnt be able to do them justice anyway. ha

So it started out in the main floor of my house in my living room...I saw my mother and  a bunch of other people off in the background. I recognised a few people, but the majority were just there to fill up space. (As if a party were going on or something) Then, something happened that triggered me to KNOW I was dreaming...Im not sure what it was, but something didnt seem right. I think my sister was holding a big, golden, cup that she was drinking out of...almost like something you would see a KING in the middle ages drinking out of in his castle.

I then repeatedly looked out the window at our driveway and kept seeing strange vehicles driving up to my house...(I was already lucid at this point) and at first it was just a normal car...but as my excitement increased, my imagination started to mess with the dream. I glanced back out the window and it was another JUMBO-car, and it changed into a bunch of wooden blocks as it moved...Once I saw this I yelled at my mother as she REFUSED to believe I was dreaming and as my sister was trying to prove to me that I was actually awake, they just wouldnt listen...even tho things in the room were shape-shifting into odd objects all around us...lol

Once everything got too much and too many people were huddled around me as I started "freaking out" in their opinion...the dream world faded away before my eyes, proving to myself that I was indeed correct. But then 2 more times this same scene happened, just with different things happening, but over all the same dream occured.

I was amazed after my alarm woke me up that I had actually lived through all 3 dreams and was lucid 95% of each of them. I have NEVER ever been that SURE, and that CONFIDENT that im making progress than when I woke up this morning.

Ill keep you updated in this thread as I have more of them, which im sure they are soon to come. Thansk for reading.

And I thought to myself, wow that's a cool picture of an alien. Then i came here and read this post and saw JayPossam's avatar which is the same picture in the article! Weird.

Haha...thanks. Yeah I like the picture too. I went to the link you posted and your right, its the same picture. I just edited it a little in photo software to make it look the way it does as my avatar. :)

Great news... I think I did it this morning.

Woke up in the morning then fell asleep again about two times. Somehow I found myself in sleep paralysis, this was smoother than the others, the vibrations were very light, actually pleaseant.
I followed CFT's advice and controlled my breathing for a second, then I just felt very light, I thought this was the moment and it was, I lean my head and arms up and the exit is smooth as silk. I try to open my eyes and I see my room as it is in reality but not completely clear, things were still a bit cloudy.
I messed around with my limbs, I could touch and feel the upper part of my physical left hand with my astral left hand. I also touched my dog (he sometimes sleeps besides me) and felt his fur, he didn't seem to notice. Then I decided it was enough for now and I lean back to my body, it took a few seconds to finally reentry but I did.

I cant believe how smooth everything went, I feel I could've done much more and I plan to go further next time.

@CFT: In answer to your question, I never had one until now, but I had two vivid false awakenings since I started meditation, which was something I never had before. I'm also relatively young (19) and not in a hurry to explore the astral. I do find it quite fascinating though.

Wow...that just seems so amazing. You just literally "sat up" in bed and touched things with your astral hands and then layed down like it was nothing. The transition, the comfortable vibes, etc.

I seem to understand what you mean about the "cloudy" look of your room when you looked around. the only OBE's ive had were not too pleasant and my most recent one, was VERY short-lived. My first was when I was 11 yrs old and it was spontanious and after a nightmare that I LITERALLY scared myself out of my body...the second happened after a failed attempt to project about a year ago at night. the next morning I woke up to (what felt like) a bucket of "water" (aka- Vibrations) washing all over my body. It startled me, but since I was laying on my stomach, my body refused to roll over or flip around so I had to lift up from laying down, which was unsuccessful since my body felt like 400 lbs. lol

My third was about 3 weeks ago...It happened after I had had my first lucid dream. I then thought about having an obe while in the dream and leave my body. I then walked through a "jello-like" substance and the room was foggy/cloudy and all I could see was the outline of the room. I then suddenly got pulled back.

Anyways, keep us updated with your experiences. :)

Hello Everyone, ive been trying to lucid dream for a while now, but have not suceeded, till now!

about two nights ago...I had been hanging out with my friends at the lake, (in Real Life) we were looking up at the stars and the moon...the MOON here, is important as it relates to my lucid dream that night...

I went to bed, and had many short, non-lucid dreams as usual....but then, I found myself walking slowly on this brick plaza-like walkway along what seemed to be a beach. (because there were Palm Trees) I was walking forward with my head turned to the left looking at the sky....I then stopped in my tracks as I saw a very large, shiny, glowing object moving out from behind the trees from my right to the left when I was facing it. It was "the moon" no doubt in my mind. I was intranced by it. It was beautiful. it was most likely 3-5 times as big as a full moon is in real life, it had a faint glow as if it had an Aura, and it was smooth, Silver, and Metallic looking.  :-)

Anyways, I had stopped in my tracks because I came to the sudden realization that the REAL MOON, isnt that big, isnt silver or smooth, doesnt move that fast in the sky, and just is not made of metal! lol I had the thought...."Holy Crap! if that moon isnt real, then ive done it, this is a dream!!"

Just then, not even 5 seconds later, I got distracted by a big group of maybe 10-15 people (that I had a stange sense I knew them) were walking toward me after I had become lucid. They were talking and laughing, and for some reason, "Out of Body Experience" popped into my head. Then BAM! the scene went BLACK...I then felt a gooey, slimey feeling all over my body and I was unconsciously walking forward through this "Jello-like" thick barrier.

I immediatelly thought "this is what leaving the body feels like?" All I could see at this point was a VERY blurry and foggy outline of a room. I guess the word BODY in my sentence triggered my head to snap around to view my body behind me and when that happened the whole room blurred into a jumbled-mess and I got pulled back. Next thing I knew I woke up in the morning.

My guess is that I got too excited about the lucid dream, but I had little to NO control over the experience. ALL the control I did have was in my head...my thoughts were clear and I KNEW for a fact I was dreaming, but I was wondering....If I actually DID leave my body when I thought (OBE) in the dream, then WHY was the air so thick and gooey like walking through jello???

Also, WHY was the room blurry and foggy...I mean, I have bad vision and wear contact lenses in real life, but I wouldnt think my "astral eyes" would be bad too?

Any thoughts or help will be appreciated. thanks.  :-)

Great idea!! I recomend Stonehenge. Ive never Astral Projected except for once by ACCIDENT when I was a kid, but I HAVE been there in person and ill tell you, it is one of the most SURREAL things you will experience without leaving your body. haha The only problem was all the tourists and loud kids running around without proper parental supervision. when your someone like me who has never been to another country and when you finally get the chance to see an amazing, famous, and mysterious structure build by unknown peoples...is it too much to ask for but a little peace and quiet once you get there? lol

Anyway, I have made a few pinpoints in my head of potential destinations I would like to visit when I succeed at OBE. (many of them have to do with proving some of the "conspiracies" as true or not)

- See if there are any government/alien bases or facilities on the Moon.

- Fly around the Rings of Saturn  :-D

- Meet my Spirit Guide

- Meet/Talk/learn from a REAL, existing Alien species.

- Area 51 (I agree also...could be a bad idea)

- See if Jupiter actually is ALL gases...I would fly down through the atmosphere and see if there is a solid surface or possibly even life.

- Visit the famous, Mars Face location.

- Fly down through the Earths crust and see if the Earth is really HOLLOW or not like some say it could be.

- (Once I get good enough) Illl try to set up a video camera in the room im OBEing and try to manifest my Energy body enough to appear on the video.

- Build myself a permanent Home on the Astral Plain, so that I know Ill have it there when I finish my life here on Earth. and to visit while OBE when I want to.

- Visit Easter Island...i dont know why, I have just always had a "pull" to that place. All those strange statues. lol

Thats all I can come up with at the moment...Anyone got more?

I agree with you guides aren't supposed to do bad things.

Maybe he is a lonely soul or something like that. Most of the people who suicide can't go to the next step in the purification of the soul. They are banished and must stay in the etheric plane. Some of them are really violent, others just creepy.

I have a lot of spirits in my house but there is one who lately talks with me and gives me the creeps at night.

I dont know, maybe. The house I live in is almost 100 years old so there could be a possibility that someone died here. but I stopped feeling bad after I yelled at him to go away. I think he was just draining the energy from my etheric body. I was meditating a lot during that week and had an abundance of stored energy in me, so no wonder it would attract someone like him. lol

Though I had an unusual experience the other day. Even though my official guide has not come up to the plate to meet me, I was attempting to AP the other night and my body went numb and I was just focusing on my breathing, letting my thoughts wander and just drift off. but then when I felt I was deep enough in the trance I asked (in my head) "Spirit Guide, Help me leave my body"...as soon as I said that, my awareness shifted and I felt the "click" and the little flash of light you get behind your eyelids. my arms and feet started tingling, but after about 30 seconds my lucidity came back, the tingling stopped, and I was back at square one. by then I was tired and just went to bed. but I thought it was pretty cool how that happened when I ASKED for help. I guess my guide/helpers are just watching from a distance and wont meet me until im out of body. lol

Hahaha... well thats what he looked like.

Hey Leilah, thanks for telling me that. I hoped that someone else had a similar problem. I tried to find a pic online that looked at least "close" to what MIKEL looked like. The guy in the pic below doesnt have as much stubble (facial hair) as Mikel did during my meditation, but for the "overall" look its pretty close. He even dressed very causual in a t-shirt, jacket, and jeans type of look as well.

So is this kind of what the being you saw looked like?

Im going to attempt to contact my guide once I project OOB so that Ill be more sure its them Im seeing and not just mixed images in my head during a meditation.

Hello Everyone, I have recently been very interested in contacting my Spirit guides and other helpers. I've been having a rough time in my life lately and I thought what better way to find "guidance" than from my Guide. lol

So I know a lot of people DONT believe in Sylvia Brown and all her stuff on tv and the books and how she is a fraud. I myself am NOT too fond of her either, BUT I do have her guided meditation CD for contacting your spirit guide and I actually quite like it because she describes the setting and environment and gives you the freedom to make this "place" the way your comfortable and safe. It seems to help me a lot with my visualizing.

Anyway, about 2 weeks ago I made contact with my "supposed" guide while listening to this cd, but when he walked down the 3 steps at the "gazebo" in the field and revealed himself he was "shifting" looks like 3 or 4 times after each step he took. I was confused, but then I guess he stuck with one look of a man, dark brown almost black hair, a short stubble/beard, ans he looked very friendly. I accepted that this was him and went on with my meditation.

Well when it comes to the point where you ask their name, I got 3 different variations of names that sound alike. Mike, Michael, and Migel....I told him I would just sort of MIX them into a name and call him Mikel. Pronounced (Meek - EL)

We then went on down the path and were supposed to ask them a simple question that would yeild a shirt answer. (Since I've lost my job and been trying to find a new one, I asked him WHERE I should work) and he told me something that I did NOT agree with at all. He said "JC Penny's" Yeah, like the retail store! if youve ever heard of it. I dont know WHY he told me that, because I hate retail, and would never want to work at that place. lol

Anyways, fast forward to the next few days after my meditation and for about a week after I met him and he HUGGED ME, I felt drained of energy, exhausted, irritable, grumpy, and lonely. I dont know about all of YOU, but arent you supposed to feel uplifted and refreshed and full of HOPE after meeting your guide???

I finally was on the brink of complete breakdown one night laying in bed and I told him out loud "Mikel! LEAVE ME ALONE, stay away, your NOT my guide, GO!"

The next day I felt more relieved and in a better mood.

Now Im confused and contemplating whether or not I should attempt to contact my REAL guide again and IF SO, how do I know Mikel wasnt actually my guide and I hurt him or what if he really did leave and now Im stuck with just a few helpers or something?

Did this happen to anyone else?

Please leave responses. Thanks.

Yeah, I guess your right. I did "jump" a little when I heard the crack, but the flash didnt surprise me...

I read somewhere that the loud "Popping" or "Clicking" sound is your consciousness moving into your energy body?

I'm going to try again tonight. I think I'm almost there.

Root: under-active (-19%)
Sacral: open (44%)
Navel: under-active (0%)
Heart: open (19%)
Throat: open (50%)
Third Eye: open (31%)
Crown: open (56%)

-----------------------------
This is strange because I know, based on my current situation, that Im not very grounded or secure in my life, which my root chakra reflects that....and I've been feeling SOO tired lately and have no motivation or "drive" to get things done...which my navel chakra reflects that....wow, this test is pretty accurate.  :-o

Well, I just have a few questions for all of you about what had happened to me a few weeks ago while trying to project. ok, first I layed down for bed. (im a night owl, so Im used to staying up late and so I dont have to worry about the morning technics because I already have an abundance of energy at night) Anyways, I took deep breaths and relaxed my body on every exhale. feeling myself getting heavier and like gravity was pulling me down to the floor really strongly...

I did this I think for around 10-20 minutes. thats when I felt like someone had put my head in a pressure oven...it suddenly got really hot, only in my head though, and then it was like someone had their hands around my head and were trying to crush it or the feeling you get when you swim down really deep in a pool or lake and the pressure starts hurting your head, yeah like that.

Anyways, I kept relaxing until my hands and feet felt numb and started to tingle. then I started seeing colorful flashes of light swirling around behind my eyelids...then my heart got faster, and faster and beated harder, and it felt like someone injected me with adrenaline. I dont think I was getting excited, because my conscience was still pretty calm.

Then I guess I lost focus for just a split second as my eyes were following the "pretty colors" and I looked UP (so to speak) behing my eyelids and it was like a loud CRACK!!!! and a briliant bright FLASH of light  almost coming from my forhead, and it felt like when that happened, my heart skipped a beat, my head pressure went away, and everything was "still" for a second.

Then, I was confused...I didnt know what to do next. I didnt want to risk trying to stand up or something and move my Physical body, so I tried feeling like I was moving or "swaying"...but it didnt work.  :|

So can anyone explain what all that was and why the "click and flash of light" ended everything?

Thanks Zante...I'm glad at least someone replied to my post. I just got back from a vaction, that is why I havent been on here to reply back until now.

anyways, yeah Ive read about the weird noises people hear before/after leaving. I've guessing thats what it was....weird thing is, I've rarely experienced sleep paralysis, and only had vibrations once....my seperation experiences now, when I attempt, have the sudden falling/jolting sensation and I wake up.....all I need to do is let go. but lately my attempts havent even gotten me to jolt awake anymore. I just sort of try to relax and then my hands and feet get cold and tingle a little bit for a while....then I get tired after like an hour of trying and just sleep from exhaustion....

well thanks again. :)

No Replies....? i know that that my post has been viewed at least 30 times folks. Doesnt anyone have comments or anything similar happen to them?  :|

Where was this "warehouse" looking place I was at? what did the conveyorbelt I was 'glued' to have to do with OBE's? what was that scary roaring/screeching type sound I heard in the room with the poisoned river? and I assume the tunnel I went through at the end was the actual "seperating" from my body?

Come on folks, there are plenty of questions for some of you to comment on...

Hello everyone, I just registered here, although I've been reading through the forums for several weeks now. I just thought about sharing my first and only Out of Body Experience with you all and to introduce myself. First, I'd like to say that I'm impressed by how supportive and understanding a lot of people are on this website and thats not something you see very often.  :-)  I hope to contribute to this positive environment as well with my own insight and stories as well. I'd like to think that I know quite a bit (Booksmarts/research) mostly, but I have a keen gift for finding useful information and putting all the puzzle peices together with many different things. I hope some of you can help me on my INexperienced side of the equation...

I guess onto the story of my first OBE when I was 11. Well, I'd like to start out that ever since I was about 6-8 months old I've had HORRIFYING nightmares and my mother used to tell me she would find me crouched in the corner of my bedroom as a toddler screaming and terrified, POINTING at spirts/demons/entities/etc whatever you wish to call them...I prefer, interdimensional beings. Anyway, many times she had to throw cold water on me or poke me to wake up, for I was also a sleepwalker...and I sleepwalked with my eyes OPEN most times.  :|

Well, when I was around 9 or 10 I got into spirituality and all this stuff about spiritguides and other dimensions, etc. I guess it really got to me, because I would always have this re-occurring nightmare all throughout my life and it was inside a giant warehouse type place and there was a floating Orb-type thing that looked like a shapeshifting hand made of transparent clay or sand. it would get fat and then really skinny and would put me into a trance. I feel frightened by this point. then I get jolted into another huge room with grass and a poisoned river where I fall into it and its only about 8 inches deep, but then I hear screeching/growling noises and I think they are aliens. then I am lifted and I blackout for a second, and I'm glued to a conveyor-belt and there are stompers and slicers trying to cut me, but they never actually touch me, just to scare me. Then I come around the corner to the left and enter a small room with a dropoff cliff of blackness to my right and to my left is a small, probably 12 foot by 7 foot white house with a white picket fence and a single, beautiful tree in its grassy front yard. I feel as if things are looking up, only to realise I'm STILL on the conveyor and I get moved into this dark vertical tube, it stops, I look up and I see a glowing ring. then I hear the scratching of metal as I notice that I'm about to be SMASHED into a pancake by this tube thing coming down on me. It flys down and BAM! I feel a thump on my chest, and I'm back in the same room, facing the cliff side of the room witht eh small house behind me.  :?  I then notice when I look in front of me across the 12 foot pitch-black gap to the slightly illuminated wall where there are 3 giant tubes. They look like metalic, ribbed, rusted Air-tubes for ventillation or something. Then I get sucked INTO the middle one, FLYING at what seems to be LIGHTSPEED!!  :-o its terrifying, but then after a the shock goes away its sorta fun.....UNTIL. I see the tube getting smaller and tighter, until I realise my fate, I'm going to be ripped apart going this fast and be turned to jelly when this hole gets too small.

THAT, is the dream/nightmare I had that night right BEFORE I had my OBE...

When I woke up, I was sitting indianstyle(crosslegged) in my bed. The room was spinning and jumping up and down and what I noticed was my alarm clock was bouching around making this really annoying screeching sound!!! I started hitting and punching it. haha I didnt know what else to do. I didnt know I was having an OBE, I didnt even know what an OBE was! So i freaked out, ditched my alarmclock after apparently it fell off my desk from bouncing around so much and me hitting it. when i jumped down onto the floor....or LACK, thereof. the floor was blackish gray and it looked cloudy and almost like walking on a giant waterbed while drunk. lol I didnt care to look back on my bed, because like I said I didnt know ANYTHING about OBE's at all, so I just thought I was having a stroke or something. lol

Well, after falling over a few times from lack of balence and not seeing where I was walking, I got to my bedroom door. it felt like it took 30 minutes to get that 10 feet across my small bedroom..ugh.  I went to reach for the doorknob and to my surprise, my whole hand went THROUGH the door!!  :-o I was like OMG...then I tried another 2 times, but didnt work. I then paniced and suddenly I thought of doing what any kid would in a crisis...HIDE UNDER THE COVERS!!! haha....immediatelly it was like a rope was tied around my waist and it a milisecond I fly backward across the room and slammed onto my bed laying on my side and then blackness...

I woke up the next morning, with THIS memory I just told you and a bad headache. lol also, my alarmclock had NEVER moved an inch.

What are all your thoughts?

Thanks for reading, and sorry if it was a lot of reading, but I felt I had to explain it in detail for you all to get a good picture in your head of the experience.  :-D
