Welcome to Dreams! / My weird dream last night
August 25, 2003, 09:45:18
I got into a fight and my enemy threw me against an electric fence. I got stuck to it and I had to peel myself off it. It hurt quite a bit like it felt like I was getting electricuted just not so much that you would die from it. The punches that the enemy got in on me hurt a bit too but not enough to make me dizzy or unable to keep fighting. Then I woke up and I was in my room and I looked at my body and it was covered in what looked like big chicken pops or big pimples from where I was burnt. It still hurt quite a bit as well and I went and showed my mum and told her that it happened in my dream and somehow that made it come true in real life. Then I woke up again and this time I thought I was back in the real world but I looked at myself again and those burn marks were still there! I finally woke up again for real this time and luckily enough when I looked at my body the burn marks were gone *sigh of relief*. So obviously the first two times when I thought I was awake in the real world was just a continuation of the dream.

It was kinda scary but I really think this dream is trying to tell me something. I think its trying to tell me that this fence is like a mental obstacle or mental block. And due to the fact that the fence was electric I think its trying to say this mental block is to do with my technokinesis. For those that dont know, technokinesis is the manipulation of electrical devices via the mind. I am slightly technokinetic... I can turn on/off lights, make them flicker or go dimmer which ever I choose. So maybe this electric fence represents a mental block or doubt in my mind to do with my TK ability. I can't manipulate any other devices other than lights so maybe this is the block.

Any thoughts on this?

Welcome to Metaphysics! / My Electrokinesis
August 16, 2003, 01:24:51
Hi, can someone please help me?

About a year ago I became electrokinetic through a very weird way. I had been smoking pot and ciggies for 6 years then i quit them both without any patches or anything! just went complete cold turkey and I couldn't sleep for like a week. It caused me to have an altered state of consciousness like my mind was more switched on than ever and i had heaps good mind over body control. One night in my state of altered consciousness I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not so I tried to turn out a street light using my mind. I looked at it and imagined it in its off state with everything surrounding it turning to darkness and I successfully willed the light to turn off. I then went outside and turned off more lights, then back inside and turned off some computers, then I experimented with the TV. Funny enough... I wasn't dreaming. I could turn off any power source purely through will power for about 2-3 days. But after those 3 days, my bad sleeping pattern + withdrawal symptoms + stress caused me to have a brief pyschotic episode. I went to hospital for 2 weeks and was given meds. For those that dont know a psychotic episode is where you say and do lots of crazy/stupid things that dont make sense. Anywayz, for about another 2 days I was still electrokinetic while in hospital but my mind over body state wore off as I got more and more sleep. I think it also had quite a lot to do with the meds... they gave me thought altering drugs (olanzapine - an antipsychosis drug) so I have now lost this ability. I stopped the meds as soon as I could. Anywayz, my problem is... I'm only randomly electrokinetic now... like lights will flicker or go off when im around sometimes and I  know it was me that did it because I get the same feeling of will power and like this other weird feeling I can't describe. I've found it occurs when a coincidence takes place (like if I think of something and then someone says it) and also when a strange situation occurs. I've also found its easiest to turn off the train lights in the carriages... I can kind of make them go dimmer for a few seconds if I try really hard. Does anyone know how I can get full control back over this ability?
Thanx.

Welcome to Dreams! / Symbolic Representation
August 08, 2003, 06:22:09
Hey all.

I have made this thread so people can post as many dreamsigns as they can and what they represent in real life. I only know of two:
1. Dieing in a dream represents a new era in your life. You have ended a period of your life and are beginning a 'new' section. You have now changed yourself somehow.
2. Dreaming of bugs means you are coming into a time of money

If you know any others then please feel free to post them!

Welcome to Dreams! / Verbal Commands
July 20, 2003, 03:30:35
I am an experienced and frequent lucid dreamer... I aim to try something different each time I have a lucid dream. However each time I do lucid dream I always use a few verbal commands. I always say "Increase clarity" then everything becomes clearer and more real. I also say "Increase lucidity" and I become more powerful in the dream. However, the other night I said "Increase clarity and lucidity by 500%" but it didn't work... maybe I shouldn't have said "by 500%".

Anyway I have a huge list of verbal commands I just made up that I haven't tried yet... maybe someone else could try them to and see if they work. Hopefully when you wake up the following verbal commands would have effected you in real life :)

Increase clarity
Increase lucidity
Increase awareness
Increase dream length
Set brain frequency to lowest alpha wave
Set brain to ignore all outside interfernces
Set brain to only wake up on my command
Increase mood
Increase energy
Increase personality
Increase talkativeness
Increase attractiveness
Increase likeability
Increase charm
Increase suductivity
Increase funniness
Increase good looks
Increase body tone
Increase luckiness
Increase confidence
Increase self esteem
Set all ESP abilities to ON and at FULL CAPACITY
Set all kinetic, psychic, telepathic and hypnotic abilities to ON and at FULL CAPACITY

I'm sure theres more you could think of... but I just think it would be cool if this actually changed you in real life. Heck it would be cool if it just worked in the dream!

Welcome to Metaphysics! / The meaning of life
June 12, 2003, 16:08:39
What is the meaning of life? any suggestions?

I think its to prepare us for whats to come when we die.

The reason you wake from a lucid dream is because you are thinkin of two things at once. You need to make sure you are only thinking of one thing at a time and that you are only doing one thing at a time. Also if you are worried about something or you have a problem that your not letting go or if you stay on one subject for too long then these things will also cause you to wake from your lucid dream. I hope this helps :)

I have a long list because I'm a very experienced lucid dreamer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can fly, in any position I want, I can float in mid-air, fly as high or low as I want, but the fastest I can fly without it being a teleport is about 80km/hr (I know this coz i once flew down a street I recognized to be 80km/hr and I couldn't go any faster).

I can teleport.

I can do lentation.

I can turn invisible to others.

I can do any kind of kinesis - tele, pyro, hydro, aero, chrono (slowing down or speeding up time), cryo, geo, electro, etc.

I can do telepathy.

I can change my dream lanscape

I can materialize and dematerialize any object I want - guns, drugs, women, etc.

I have unbelievably amazing kung fu skills and I always win fights. Its as though I'm a kung fu expert that has been practicing my entire life.

I can do stuff with energy like creating psiballs, shields, fireballs, etc. DBZ style!

I can breathe in space and underwater.

I can make people do and say whatever I want - jump off cliffs, die instantly for no reason, make them fly, make them say/do something stupid/funny, etc.

I can warp myself into a different object or animal.

I can materialize a stereo and make it play whatever song I want and the song will sound exactly the same as it would in real life.

I can make up songs/poems on the spot to people that actually rhyme and sound good, usually an insulting one. However, I never remember them when I wake up :(

I also like to cause as much mischeif as possible - stealing things, vandalising things, insulting people, etc.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would love to hear from other people what they can do and please tell me how fast you can fly without it being a teleport! :)

Hi, I was wondering if someone could please tell me what it feels like when you first start to AP? does it feel like a tingling sensation? because if it does then that means I must have been doing it correctly when I tried.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / How to do telekinesis
August 28, 2003, 08:25:33
Yes, you can do that.
For other kinesis like hydro for example you can think about why it rains then prevent that. Or with Aero you can think about why theres wind (due to pressure systems) then prevent that. You can think about why a light works (electricity) then prevent that (technokinesis).

Welcome to Dreams! / watching youself in a dream
August 28, 2003, 08:02:30
Hey

Well it certainly isn't an OBE... an OBE is when your having surgery and then you "dream" about watching yourself in surgery at the same time.

I have had OBE's, AP's as well as what you had.
I have no idea what these "watching yourself" dreams mean sorry.

Welcome to Dreams! / My weird dream last night

I learnt it the illegal way. Smoke cones and ciggies for 8 years daily then one day decide to go cold turkey. You cant sleep for weeks and it causes you to have mind over matter and be in an altered state of consciousness where the brain relies only on the left side (creative) only bad thing is you get withdrawals as well. It was also due to lucid dreaming before quitting... so if you gonna do it then wait till you have a lucid dream... then whilst dreaming find as many electrical devices possible and mess with them using your mind.
I took speed once and I had the ability to completely switch from the left of my brain to the right (creative to logic) and back again. All my bodily processes were sped up so it was like I was using 100% of my brain which is good for pickin up chicks =)
I'll give you the technique I use:

Welcome to Dreams! / My weird dream last night
August 26, 2003, 06:57:30
thanx for your post

I dont think I have any pain or discomfort getting under my skin. I strongly believe that this is to do with my technokinesis.
#13
I am a frequent natural lucid dreamer but besides that all I can do is TK. But I'm not talking about telekinesis I'm talking about technokinesis (the ability to manipulate electrical devices using the mind). All I can do at the moment is turn on and off lights, make them flicker or go dimmer. It's nothing too special but its still pretty impressive.

Welcome to Dreams! / Sleeping in Dreams?
August 23, 2003, 08:53:38
Ok, I've had this happen to me a few times too.

According to me it means you are having some family troubles or something you want to tell them and get off your chest, or that you are working towards something for them.

According to www.dreamdoctor.com/dictionary it means:
Symbol of unconsciousness in dreams. If an event occurs while you sleep in a dream, consider that you have allowed something to occur in your life unconsciously. Did you let an old lover back into your life, that you believe was an error in judgement? Sleep also may represent the absence of a friend, lover, or relative (they are not present) or death. (A sleeping (deceased) grandparent, who awakens in a dream and talks to the dreamer.)

It is also tied in with the subject of dreaming about dying. If you die in a dream it is a good thing... it means you are going through a transition, a change, you are beginning a new era in your life.

I have always dreamed in color. I dont understand how the color could possibly get more real or vivid as you say... to me its just a color and it can't look any different. When I become lucid and I look around I see color... i dont see vivid color becoz to me theres no such thing - its either there or not. However, when i use the verbal command "increase clarity" everything becomes a bit brigther, clearer, more crisp and realistic so i guess you could say that after using this command the colors become more vivid.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Atmokinesis

Hey

I have had a bit of experience with hydrokinesis (controlling water and the rain). Like on my birthday (which is in winter) I was wishing all week and all that day and that night for it not to rain and it didn't when the tvnews said it was definately going to rain and be a thunderstorm! Besides that... whenever its raining and I want it to stop I just imagine it slowing down and hear in my mind the raindrops becomming lighter and less frequent. You can also try imagining the clouds precipitation level becoming lower, and the form of the cloud becoming less dense and less full of moisture. Another funny experience is one time when I had a week of frequently occuring psychokinesis, i tried controlling my tinkle. I was urinating straight and I made it curve to the left then back straight, then to the right. It was amazing seeing the actual water (well my tinkle in this case) curving in mid-air without any physical help.

I have heard that for aerokinesis you can either imagine a high or low pressure system above you (depending on whether u want wind or not). Or you can imagine a kind of psi-shield around you that blocks all the wind, or you can try imagining wind coming from a certain direction.

Hope this helped and actually works for you! :)

technokinesis is only turning on and off electrical devices
also manipulating eg. with lights u can make them flicker or go dim instead of just turning on and off

in the future when humans harness the full potential of the human brain, when some of us are technokinetic, we will be fighting aliens and using our technokinesis to disable their ships and weapons, and to repair our weapons/ships, repair alien weapons/ships, etc. hehehe :P

Good luck finding a site... there's nothing out there on it. I found one site that said for electrokinesis you have to manipulate energy to your fingers or whatever and imagine it coming out in little sparks of electricity. It also said that for technokinesis (ability to manipulate electrical devices) you need to manipulate your brainwave frequency and imagine it turning on/off. So as you can see, these are both covering the same area but a completely different technique is required for each one.
#21
Hey

Yeah I can't find anything on Electrokinesis either. But I did find something on technokinesis which is what i've got... (ability to manipulate electrical devices). It said that you have to set your brain to the right frequency or wavelength. I dont really believe in energy generated EK.

If you want my answer then look in one of the other electrokinesis threads

Welcome to Metaphysics! / electroknises

Hi

I am slightly technokinetic (ability to manipulate electrical devices) and I do it by mind not by energy. You just gotta imagine your goal and believe you can do it. For me, I have to set the right brainwave frequency wavelength whatever it is and just imagine my objective being in its "off-state". I am really not a big believer of energy generated electrokinesis.

Yeah, what happens to me is I will have a hot naked chick in front of me but as soon as i go to put my cock in her pussy i will wake up! its not the sensation that wakes me up becoz it happens just before i put it in. I dont know why it happens to me and it bloody sux! someone please help! and if you do try to help then plz make it easy to understand... no offense but i didn't really understand what pod3 was on about.

Hi all!

According to LaBerge when writing is re-read in a dream it changes like 95% of the time I think it is. I have read heaps of things in dreams from clocks and signposts to essays and books. When it comes to numbers they ALWAYS change for me the 2nd time I read it. With books if i re-read a passage then only some of the words change.

I have had some really weird incidences occur where I am able to make up songs and poetry on the spot that actually rhyme and sound good! For example, one time i was walking down a street and a guy insulted me, i insulted him back through song/poetry and it rhymed and sounded so cool it made me look and feel awesome! I have also turned on stereos before and I will listen to a song I haven't heard in ages and every aspect of the song will sound perfect and exactly like it sounds in real life even though in real life i can't really remember the words! This is when there is no radio playing whilst im asleep aswell. One time I did have the radio on whilst I was asleep and about 5 songs were incorporated into my dream. On a rather unrelated topic I have also had dreams where I fight people and I am able to block every single hit! I am also able to pull off all this crazy butt kung fu as though I had been practicing it all my life, like I was some kind of martial arts expert. Hehehehe pretty trippy stuff! :)
