Hey i want to add a question to this topic
Has anyone ever in their obe practice passed out and then suddenly snapped back so that your body feels like it jumps up a little?

a very difficult technique. . . I myself have never attempted it, but Robert Bruce devised a method which does not use the common 2 rotating pyramids in the shape of the Star of David. The pyramid method is very difficult to maintain awareness during the exit attempt.

Robert Bruce's method simplifies the pyramids into two rotating tubes. Instead of the revolving pyramids, one revolves two body length tubes around the body. One tube is rotating clockwise, while the tube around it is rotating counter-clockwise. He speaks of entering a "merkaba lightship" once both tubes are successfully spinning at the speed of light, where one may travel to any time, dimension, or any portion of our universe.

Thanks this is quite helpfull. so you have to imagine the two tubes in front of you the closer one spinning clockwise the other anticlockwise? Maybe you know some link where i can read more on this tube rotation technique?

Has anyone done it?
Has anyone actually projected in the merkabah?

please tell us all about it!!!! :-)

Hello everyone
Can someone give me some insight on this experience i had please?

Basically I'm listening to Monroe's hemisync "Into to focus 12" and what happened was this
the part comes when Monroe counts from 10  to 12 to put me into focus 12 and as he counted to 12 nothing happened for a while and then all of a sudden i felt like a click or a pop and my full Consciousness felt like it was inside my head like i would exist inside my head, the blackness in front of my eyes turned 3D i think and i don't remember if i could fell my body at that point.

So i watch the blackens for about 10 seconds or so and then all kinds of energetic sensations started happening which are hard to describe i felt as if i am slightly pulled up and i could see some colors swirlling around in the blackness which became much brighter at this point. I also experienced fluttering of the eye lids.
I was quite overwhelmed by these sensations and then the voice of Robert Monroe says now lets go back to focus 10    this completely destroyed my concentration and the sensations and everything stopped and i went back to focus 10

sorry for making this long if anybody has some advice please share
  :-)

after more than a year of fruitless effort and reading everything that was available on the subject I'm just confused. I don't even remember how to do an OBE my head just hurts from all the techniques and theories and so on. Can someone help me out with this? How do you have your obe's? what do you do? I'm starting from the beginning What should i do to have an obe?

there is a much easer way to energize water. Its our own thoughts and emotions. What i do is simply thank the water before i drink it (sounds a Little silly) so here is the whole science behind it: http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=water+the+great+mystery+&emb=1#  or watch at youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5wN0qGu1gI&feature=PlayList&p=37394B2E6602C2E6&index=0&playnext=1  i hope its usefull for you

when you meditate do you focus on your body or do you focus on your mind and try to forget the body?
#9
Yes the arm method has its limitations. I'm going through the same thing as you are.
I usually try in the middle of the day after some exercises. Since I'm tired the hypnagogics come faster. then i usually fall asleep and wake up over and over. I'm not really sure how i will know that I'm in focus 10.
#10
gil-galad, you're not alone with this problem.
In for example try to hold my forearm up (when i try before sleep).
#11
Hey I have heard allot about listening to the ringing in the ears.  But has anyone projected using this? please write. thanks.  :-)
#12
should breathing be conscious or natural? because natural breath gets weaker and weaker until i cant effectively focus on it.
#13
thanks very much T.L. :-)

thanks for the advice :) .  I like to share with you  my experience of my last attempt yesterday. Its midnight and I'm going to sleep. so i try to achieve "mind awake body asleep" for some fun.
I did relaxation exercises and started looking at the blackness in front. My legs and arms soon became numb. I started getting hypnagogic images. Once they start (for the few seconds that they last) i immediately loose awareness once i understand that I'm in hypnagogics i regain my awareness but the hypnagogics immediately stop. I sort of "wake up".
and this fading in and out somehow confuses me because people say that they observe hypnagogics like TV without loosing consciousness. I tried to reapeat a mantra in my mind to keep my awake in hypnagogics. It  keeps me having just a Little more awareness that i stay awake longer but its not as effective as i want  :|

also i observed that when i faded in and out of dreams my sense of touch was getting weaker also a couple of times  realistically felt that my arms  were crossed on my chest and my legs felt like crossed. but in reality they here restin on my side. is this the beginnings of he body shutting down?

Hey i got a lucid dreaming manual stating:

When you are in a hypnagogic state
your body is slowly shutting itself down for the night. Chemical processes are occurring which slowly
demobilize your body for the night so you don’t actually swing your arms in your bed just because you
are swinging them in your dreams. While dreaming, your eyes are a few of the only body parts that
remain mobile as we mentioned earlier when discussing REM sleep. Not only does your body shut down
due to this process of sleep paralysis, but due to the lack of external stimulation, your mind starts to go
through changes as well.
As you approach the threshold between waking and sleeping, your brainwaves slow down from a waking
bustling beta through a relaxing alpha and into a highly visual theta. Once you have entered into the theta
zone you are experiencing hypnagogia as you teeter at the edge of full sleep mode.

My question is:
Is the mind really in theta state when you are i hypnagogics?
Is the hypnagogic state deep enough to use an exit method?
are  about to enter mind awake body asleep soon while in hypnagogics?
#16
Now I understand  :-) Maybe a coincidence or maybe not... who knows :-)
#17
well yes i oversimplified things. As you said the challenge is to stay awake and focused thats what I'm working on Right now.
#18
You essentially try to projet from a awake state and using visualizations. In my mind thats achievable only for the experienced or very talented. People usually somehow mystify the Vibrational state. Vibrations are caused by energy movement (thats a popular theory). If you in vibrations it doesn't necessarily men that you are ready for projection or are projecting. I never got an obe but i had LOTS of vibrations in my first attempts eventually they get weaker and weaker until they're gone. Thats because your energy body (the system in where energy flows) gets more "cleaned" so energy doesn't cause friction (vibrations) while moving.

So I would reorganize your system this way:
1) Relaxation
2) The Mind awake body asleep state: Its also called Focus10. read up http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_permanent_astral_topics/focus_10_mind_awakebody_asleep-t24783.0.htm
3) exit Method: use visualizations or any other exit techniques to exit your body

Thats how i understand it.

Maybe somenone can advice me on hypnagogics?the problem is that they just knock me out and i end up dreaming. It doesn't matter how much sleep i had, when they start I just loose focus and end up dreaming. So this problem is driving me crazy because i don't reach the decent focus 10 for projection.

please help
#20
would the hypnagogic state be deep enough to project using this method ?
#21
I have the same problem staying awake in hypnagogics. But lets say i overcome it what should happen next?
#22
Hey T.L. I tied your method this is what happened:

I lay down do a little relaxation and keep my mind quiet. I originally intended to do phasing but i was too awake so i had to wait a long time until i entered the hypnagogic state So instead i tried your method. And sure enough within about 2 minutes i felt a little dizzy and disoriented and a huge pressure was building up  in my 3eye chakra. But unfortunately my mother entered the room and asked my "why am I sleeping in the middle of the day?" (She doesn't know about my secret hobby so to speak). I got a lot of projections ruined this way but whatever the main thing is something started to happen and maybe it will work next time.
#23
T.L., If this will work me I Will give you a gold medal or something
#24
For me the blobs and hypnagogics  come always faster if i try to project at night or if i am very tired and want to go to sleep, but its harder to keep awake. in the morning its the opposite hypnagogics and everyting comes slower but its easier to stay awake.
