Twice it's happened now!  Twice my deja vu's and my dreams have collided to become a passing experiences called my reality.

The latest replayed event was of myself gazing fondly at a small black dog who I knew liked to bite me as he scampered around my legs.  During the deja vu, what triggered the recollection of my dream was the brilliance of the sunlight and the warm feelings about the moment as I kept a watchful eye on my newest family member.  While that deja vu was an exact replay, the freaky part was I was able to correlate the occurrence to a dream that had transpired nearly a year before without it being in a dream journal. Has this happened to anyone else-a deja vu being a clear cut memory from a dream?

It's more like a heart attack.  Hurts something terrible.  Scares the poop out of me.  But that doesn't always happen.  I can't figure out what triggers that either.  Perhaps my mind is too alert, too conscious for the smoother crossover.  Perhaps I need to lose consciousness for a split second to connect smoothly.  It's awful to dread the next episode since I never know when it's going to happen, but it sure kills my experience and quick like.  I always try to project during the afternoon when my energy level is highest.  Perhaps I have too much energy and it's being processed by my body the wrong way.  I just don't know.  Is anyone else's experience like mine?

Most of my AP attempts have been freaky/painful.  It feels like I'm having a heart attack so I back away.  I read somewhere that the feeling will pass if you simply calm down, but it seems to real to stay calm through it.  Is there any sure fire way to avoid that type of transition?  The few times I had a smooth transition I couldn't recall there being any differences between what I had done prior to exiting.

Plasma,
Wear loose clothing and make sure you are warm enough because as your body functions slow down, the room you are in may not be warm enough.  Perhaps a light blanket.  Keep repeating the relaxation techniques for every part of your body even your eyes and your mouth.  You can mix up the areas out of order.  This process usually takes me over an hour to perfect, to go numb in my body and very alert/hopeful in my mind.  The key for me is a combo of deep, total relaxation and enough mental energy to compel my consciousness to float up and out of my body.  To keep my mind empty but alert, I always try to listen to every sound at once until I am simply hearing noises and not focusing or thinking about any one in particular.  Being excited is helpful if you can focus that energy in your mind so you will have a smooth transition up and away.  Hope some of this helps.
