Hi everyone!
I'm writing this because I think I had some kind of conscious astral experience a few days ago.
I'm really new to this, I've only got started about a month ago and have been constantly trying to project. I'd never experienced anything like this before so I believe it must be something.
Anyway, it was mid afternoon and I decided to have a go and try to project. I laid on my bed and tried to achieve the mind awake/body asleep state. I relaxed, and then started to feel my chakras activate (nothing unusual, so far). After some moments, I noticed I could see coloured lights flashing through my closed eyelids. Then dream imagery come about, but I seemed not to be taking part in the dream. I was just an on-looker. Suddenly, I heard a loud slam and felt as if I had quickly snapped out of my body. However, I could still see through my eyelids, as if I was still in my physical body. Then I saw my double standing before my bed, looking at my body. I couldn't look directly at him, but I knew it was my double by its looks. Every time I tried to look at his face, I got terribly confused and overwhelmed (just like Robert Bruce said) and I felt my head was about to explode (there was no pain, though). I suppose this must be because of the so-called mind loop (I think) formed by being conscious of both my physical body and astral double (correct me where I'm wrong).
I woke up immediately after that. Then I went back to sleep and had a very vivid dream. Someone else woke me up then, and my hands and arms were numb and almost paralysed (it took me several minutes to get them back to normal). This is what I think must have happened: maybe I was able to project my double, but my consciousness stayed within my physical body? Is this so? Could this be because of an energy blockage (my energy body is not very developed)? Of course it's also likely that it was all just a dream given that I wanted so badly to project and that I had no control over the situation.
I'd really appreciate it if somebody could give me some feedback on this, maybe to explain what happened or to share a similar experience.
Thanks in advance.
All the best,
Pablo.
