Gen 14:18  And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
The word Melchizedek translated from Hebrew means: 'king of right; Salem means: 'peaceful';
Some believe He was Christ before Christ was born as human because of the verse: Heb 7:3 speaks of Melchizedek:  'Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.'

The book I mentioned above explains that even if reiki falls into the wrong hands, the reiki energy cannot be used for harm. It is healing energy, and if the person doing the healing isn't doing it quite right, it will be 'fixed' by the 'spirit guides' or 'higher power'. This is the same principal behind the attunements being passed. If not done perfectly (and what truly is) it will be 'fixed'.

I always do energy work barefooted. And when I'm outside, if it's not too cold, I go barefooted. The magnetic force of the earth is healing to us and can be blocked by the soles of some shoes.

I don't ever have a sexual desire after energy work. All I know for sure is that now that I practice energy work the sex is 50 times better. (Orgasmically speaking)

My most powerful stone is a piece of polished rutilated quartz. Bloodstone is my second choice. Some stones work better unpolished and uncut- amethyst for one (in my opinion) You just need to experiement. Don't forget to clear and charge your stones before working with them!

Everyone has potential healing energy within them. Reiki is a wonderful way to cultivate this energy. The book Essential Reiki is the best one to get. I found it for $18 at Barnes & Noble. Here is the link for free distance attunements and instruction, but I know if I didn't have that book also, my technique would not be very effective. Good luck and God Bless!

I used to believe that God the Father created all until I read John 1:1 which explains that it was the Word (Christ)
"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made."
It goes on to say that the Word became flesh- so it is definitely speaking of Christ. verse 10 of the same chapter says "He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not."

Hello to all! I am new to your community, but am enjoying reading the many informative posts. I like a diversified group that knows how to debate peacefully most of the time. I am also christian and use the Christ when confronted with evil. As one of you stated, you can't just do this mechanically. The power is in the name AND the energy you allow it. Since I belive Christ created all things, I also believe He has dominion over all things and strongly believe it.
