Hello there,

I've been reading you folks for a while and i finally decided to post my first message here.

I need your advice on this:

The other day i was sleeping at a friend's house when i suddenly became lucid. I decided to try the sinking into the dream method, to achieve a projection. I sunk into the ground and i found myself floating in my room, back to my house (but not my friend's house where my body actually was). The room was dark but illuminated with a blue-ish kind of light. I floated about in my room and then remembered the tip about keeping the projection short and decided to head back to my body. At this point i was looking down on my bed and i saw what i thought was my body (which obviously wasn't since i was sleeping at my friend's house at the moment). I entered "it"... and I woke up at my friend's house, really puzzled on how i got there.

What does this dream/projection thing mostly look like?
Did i just dream about having a projection?
Or did I actually have one?[?]

Your opinion on this will be appreciated

First of all, thank you gyus for your answers

Yes I understand this is a subjective and personal experience, and I guess my question should be more like "Is it possible it could have been a projection" rather than "Did i have a projection?" [:I]
Anyway, im a newbie here so I can look  and act dumb and be proud of it. lol

I think I'll have to agree with fallnangel77 on the matter, it also depends on my perception of what dreams actually are. Do dreams take place in the mind or in the astral? I believe the truth varies between the two. Maybe some of the astral is in the mind and travelling on the astral is more of an inward journey. Maybe the dreams take place in the astral and in the mind at the same time.

As for what T_Kman0610 said, when I became lucid I thought "I should try to project to where my body is sleeping, but i didnt have any memory of myself sleeping at my friends house so i found myself to where i would sleep normally, that is, my house. I did not find this weird, as the thought is what guides you somewhere, but i did not think "diving" into my "body" (or whatever was that looking like it on my bed) would actually wake me up if that werent my body. Of course it is possible it could have been an action ignited by my subconscious and my beliefs (as in, now i should wake up).

Ok this post is getting long so I should just stop here.

kisses to all of you[:X]
