I apologize if that is hard to read as I posted while on my phones internet and didn't reread very well.

So some exciting things happened in the last 24 hours,

Last night while not particulary trying to obtain a trance state, but doing light breath work/ repeating affirmations in my head, and just trying to relax and go to sleep I drifted off or so I thought. The next thing I remember is feeling awake, so I looked around and everything was a wavy metallic almost color, everything was where it was in my room but it wasn't entirely solid looking, almost like a liquid form of whatever it was. I remember the thought that I may have projected crossing my mind and I attempted to step off my bed, it was clumsy and hard. I remembered that if I was projecting I just had to want to move easier, or say I did, so i focued on that thought it did become easier but I don't know if it was because of the thought or because I was on the floor. I walked to my door and had the urge to see if this was a projection, I jumped up, thinking i would fly if it was and instead i came right back down and it happened as it normally would, making me reconsider. At this point I almost felt like I was dreaming/sleep walking because I still was unsure and everything was becoming  hazy, next I hear/see my boyfriend standing behind me kind of laughing, going "babe what are you doing" "babe come on" as he led me back over to the bed and I sat down. He asked what I had thought I was doing and then I believe I went back into sleep.


Now at first I didn't think that this was a projection, I was sure I had been sleepwalking or something along those lines and my boyfriend whom had been sleeping on the left of me had woken up and helped me back to bed, however upon waking later on I asked him about it and he said he had slept through the night, that nothing like that had happened.
It was extremely vivid, and I was concious.





The second thing now, happened after I had woken up after the above, my younger brothers go to school so I often wake up to them getting ready and such at 6 am, well I felt rested and stayed up for a while, putting off writing down what had happened before.
I occupied myself until around 11 and then laid back down in my bed, this time on the left of my boyfriend. I was laying on my side away from him, doing some light storage centre work on my feet and trying to remain aware of my breath

I awoke to very intense vibrations, but I wasn't taking them entirely serious, I thought about how in the past when practicing I would get vibrations and when I tried to encourage them they would dissappear, I then encouraged the vibrations and to my surprise they stayed/intensified, a very loud screeching/buzzing noise also accompanied these now and everything got very loud for a couple seconds and then it died out. I felt/heard a click, and tried opening my eyes, I attempted to sit up quickly but everyhing I looked at was all jumbled, colors were all over and I felt unable to see, I also had this intense urgency to get out of my body completely, maybe my room. I remembered that if you were having difficulty leaving your body you can call for a near astral traveler to help, I didn't speak out but thought "I wish I had someone to help me" and then there were ghost like outlines of hands, maybe 2 pairs in front of me, aiding me in sitting up, this whole time I was also aware of a person to the left of my feet, not very near me but in the room doing something, im not sure what it was however they were bent over to the right slightly, at the time I remember thinking it was my boyfriend, upon waking I thought it was my brother. I snapped back into my body and woke up, but was deep in a hypocognic(excuse my butchering) state and fell back asleep. When I woke up later for good I wrote down these two experiences,
Idk if its worth noting but the first one when I "woke up" or "projected" I was standing/sitting on the right side of my bed, where I had gone to sleep. And in the second I was indeed on the left side of the bed at the time of projection, as I had gone to sleep.

What are your thoughts on the hands/being, or my boyfriend being there too?
Was I just dreaming?

Thank you all very much! this is all extremely helpful and i enjoy the insight, i think i do need to work on my trance and going deeper. my birthday recently passed and i was surprised with a whole library of books, so i have no doubt i can figure this out

I don't think that its though, like the vibrations are faint, and then when i feel like they should intesify suddenly theres nothing, no dreamy/trance state as I had been in its just clear as a bell like i've just laid down to practice but my body is relaxed still.

i've been attempting to astral project for sometime now. I'm in the middle of Bruce's Astral Dynamics, working on my minor storage centres etc. Now I can put myself in a good trance state, even induce vibrations/buzzing but it seesm everytime i arrive at this stage, it's when my mind is starting to slip away into sleep, then i notice the vibrations and next thing i know they dwindle away and im left laying there, with my body feeling light/floaty or even asleep but my mind completely lucid and awake. aware of everything thats going on in my room. I dont know what i'm doing wrong, i've tried exit techniques after this happening thinking maybe i did project and its the mind split but i end up just actually being awake, any theorys?

i have a very large beanbag chair, like 5ftround. the only problem i've encountered with is with where to put my feet & legs!

For stopping the inner chatter, I suggest you read the book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

I read this book, and his newer one Awakening your life's purpose.
great books, & very helpful in teaching you to be present.
