Ah, thanks to both of you   Once I am able to phase, I'll enjoy messing around in F2 by living out the dreams of the 6 year-old locked deep inside of me.

One more question: After phasing into F2, how would I enter F3? I tried looking around using the search bar to look for Franks' posts, but Its just too tedious

So, I understand the practical methods concerning phasing but I'm confused as to what one can actually do after a successful phase. I'll break my questions apart:

1) If I phase into F2, are the sensations similar to the physical world? Can I touch a table and actually feel the texture? Can I actually sniff a flower and smell its scent? Can I talk and really hear my physical voice? When I look at things, is it through my mind's eye or does it look like I'm peering through my physical eyes? Basically, is everything "real" or lucid-dream-esque?

2) Depending on the answer to question 1, is it possible to "live" out my fantasies? Could I phase into a remote island? Could I phase into the wild west and fight in a battle between outlaws and lawmen?

3) Is this like astral projection or other OBE methods where as it is a different method but the same results?

Your answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been interested in astral projection for about 6 months, but I've never really given it a try. I just have so many questions and there are just so many different methods that I get flustered and I already have an issue with decision-making  . Here are a few questions that I'd like to ask you guys.

1) Sometimes, I go to bed when I'm not tired. I'll just lie there and not move. Maybe after 10 - 20 minutes, my body starts getting really heavy, like someone just put a huge lead blanket over my body. Not my head though, just my body. It gets sort of difficult to breath and I feel like getting up but its such as strange sensation. Eventually, I'll have to just force myself up otherwise I feel like I'm going to die by suffocation.

2) Sometimes, when I'm trying to fall asleep, the bed will disappear, as in I cant feel it anymore. Then It will feel like I'm spinning in space. It's always a counter-clockwise spin. I can trigger it but the sensation only lasts for a couple of seconds before I have to trigger it again. To trigger it,  I imagine pushing my forehead from the inside with tiny imaginary hands in my skull. I hope that make sense. Anyways, am I trigger a sort of trance?

3) Where do I start with astral projection?!?!

I'm really not familiar at all with any of this, sorry 

Also, please don't recommend any books for me. I always buy them and then they just collect dust in my closet. How about some online links?
