Welcome to Metaphysics! / predicted a sickness?
March 16, 2004, 11:40:41
It was saturday morning ten days ago. I just woke up and immediately remembered my dream in which I was saying goodby to my granpa, and my grandma, and then my granpa again. I'm not sure but I also think that I told them to take care. A phonecall actually woke me and I was trying to hear what's that my father is saying. A few seconds later he went into the bedroom and told something to my mother. The next thing I realised is my mother in my room telling me that grandpa had a brain stroke. Later we learned that it was a particulary strong one and today, ten days later, we still don't know what will be with him.
Is it possible that somehow I knew what will happen and was saying a mental goodbye to my grandpa?

I had a strange dream last night... If anybody has an idea on its meaning I would like to see it here ^_^

The beggining of the dream is blurry and I can't remember it but I know there was a beginning. The point from which I remeber the dream is when I and someone else (I think it was a girl but I'm not 100% sure... It might be also an older female person... Or maybe a male person, too, but probably not.) We were walking through a corridor that had doors on the right side and windos on the left. We saw a courtyard (or a bigger room) and some people working there (I think they had some strange outfit but I'm not sure). On the end of the corridor we entered a storage area that had stairs on one side. There is something important about the stairs but I can't remeber what. The next few moments are blurry but I can remember that we killed someone for some unknown reason and he stood up as a zombie. We escaped into a room and after some minutes we (us two and the people from the room [my school mates?]) escaped the room and found out that everyone are zombies. Next thing I remember that the only exit was to escape through the window on the second level of a building. I barely climbed out to a second roof where I met other friends. After that we were escaping the zombies and one of my friends turned into a zombie (I knew that because I broke his neck and he continued talking). We entered into a cinema and we were free :)). We went into the projection room and on the way there I realized that one girl from the company (us) is beautiful. You know, when you see a girl and immediately fall in love. This was like that though I can't remeber her face (I thik that I have not seen her face but I clearly remember her long brownish-black hair). Anyway, I don't think that I will forget this dream soon, if ever. After that I went to the entrance for some reason and realized that the zombies are following and that we have to escape. I told this to the others and that's all I can remember...

Welcome to Astral Chat! / war caused memory loss
March 16, 2004, 11:32:40
In this thread I will speak of a strange phenomenom that had occured to my family and, I think, to the rest of people that were affected by the war. But first I translated an essay that I wrote while helping my brother in learning.

Do not take my childhood away!
------------------------------

Nobody cared about the children then. Nobody asked us a thing. The fathers who were leaving barely had the time to tell us "I'll be back...". Basements turned into homes, and homes turned into ruins. The families who had not fled were allways afraid of bombings, hurt or sudden death.
Nobody asked us where are our friends. No one asked us why aren't we playing outside. Nobody asked us what we want. Yet we were the ones who asked. We asked where our fathers are. We asked when will these explosions stop. We asked when will we sleep in our rooms, our beds again. Whenever a grenade exploded in close range we asked will we ever again see our family, friends, or neighbours...
To others who fled from that chaos wasn't any better. Everyday the listened to the news on the radio with fear. They watched the reports of brave, and sometimes foolishly brave, reporters from the first line. We, children, watched these pictures of terror on the TV and could not understand what was happening and why. To us, it was just another world that was far from ours. We were just asking when will we go home, when will we see our father and friends again, when will we see our room and toys again.

Many have lost a father, mother, sister, or a brother, friend or neighbour. Today, they are only faint memories. some aren't even that. Some are forgotten and, to us, it looks like they were never a part of our world, lives, and childhood. We children were adaptable. We put behind our bad memories and forgot the dead. We live in this world like nothing happened. The War is history for us, another bad dream that has to be forgotten. We have problems of greater importance now, like school, new friends and other new things that we accepted.
Our childhood was taken though we often do not realize it. I often try to remember 1991 but I just can't remeber a thing. That whole war is just a big hole in my memory. Time can not be reversed. Mistakes can not be repaired. All I can do is to send a message to people; don't take our children's childhood away!

I think most of you had heard about the war in Croatia that occured in the 90's. Croatia was defending it's freedom and Serbia was trying to found "Big Serbia". I live in Osijek and I experienced only few days of war before we fled to Hungary. And these few days were terrible. The phenomenon I'm talking about is that my family and me have only a few memories of that year spent in Hungary. We do not remember any celebrations like birthdays, Christmass or Easter. I can't remember my first day in school. I have only few memories like a "vision" that I had when I was sick. Two or three events that occured while I was in hospital.
This is not a thraumatic effect since I was 7 years old and I never fully understood what's happening. The worst of all is that Croatian people somehow forgot what happened. They are trying to be very good friends with the Serbs that only a decade ago were killing their familly and friends. My oppinion is that things can be forgiven but they can never be forgotten. My childhood was taken and I have a one year big hole in my memory.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dreams about my brother...
December 05, 2003, 11:49:24
In my whole life I had very bad dreams in which I dreamt my with my brother. I will never forget these dreams and I will describe them here in the order I dreamed them. So, here's the first...

We are walking on a small bridge over one smaller part of the river Drava [Osijek, Croatia]. At once my brother falls into the shallow (somwhere two feets deep) and remains underwater. It looks like he is dying down there and I want to jump down and save him but our father holds me and says that I cannot save him. I just look down and wake up before he dies... You cannot even imagine how scared I was. I immediatly stood up and get to his bed to check out is everything OK...

The second dream is somehow different. We're somwhere on the Adriatic sea (I know this because people speak Croatian). We're near an abbandoned building. Somehow my brother was lost and I knew that he was in that building. I went to search him and realised that the building was a great complex that went deeper and deeper. It was in ruinous state so I had to climb deeper and deeper but never found my brother. By the way I heard many voices and saw some rooms but was too afraid to enter one... And in time I woke up...

The third dream is the worst. As far as I know we were in a hotel in Hungary or Checz Republic. My brother was looking thru the window whn suddenly he fell through it (it looked like something draged him down). I looked through the window and saw him falling down (we were very high, at least on 5th floor). We swiftly ran down and found him lying on the floor and shaking in a strange way. Somehow I knew he broke his backbone. And then I woke up...

The fourth dream was very strange and all I can remeber we were in a town on the sea. We were hidden in a room that was hidden behind a shop. My brother got lost in the town and I was searching for him for the whole day just realize that he returned to our room...

The fift dream was actually a repeated second dream. Weird and strange.

Sorry for a long post but I just had to share these experiences with someone :)

Welcome to Dreams! / LD without picture
November 12, 2003, 13:18:48
I was listening to music before sleep last night (as I do every night) and was thinkin about various "topics". I was thinking, and thinking and then I suddenly woke up. I was sleeping and still thinking about one of my projects. It happened a fgew times until I fel into deep sleep.
You could ask how I knew that I was sleeping and then woke up. It was the music. When I'm listening to music while sleeping I often wake up when one of the my favourite songs starts to play. While I was thinking and falling into sleep the music slowly faded until I was lucid(?) and shaping my dreams with no picture. Then one good song started and I woke up.
Now... Is this "dreaming without seeing" dreaming or is it my concentration? Is this LD at all? Comments? Questions? Answers?

I'm sure most of you heard about a scientist, engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla. I'm also sure you heard something about his life. Once, as a child he jumped with an umbrella of his house-roof. He fell and hit his head hardly. From this moment to the end of his life he had really strange experiences. He wrote down that everything started with some flickering lights and after that came the pictures of people, places and mostly strange devices. He was only a child and did not understood the meaning of these visions as he calls them. Sometimes he saw nothing else but these visions. They were like real but he never managed to touch them. He also wrote down that his brother had some strange mental powers, but he was tragically killed by their otherwise very peaceful horse.
As Tesla grew up he somehow managed to control these vision but other visions came also. These were different from the first ones. These came after he went to sleep. When he closed his eyes he saw something like a blue glow and after some other "effects" came the visions of various machines, devices and his inventions. If no visions came he could not get any sleep for that night.
Tesla was a great mind. He never wrote anything down until he made the whole idea in his head. All his experiments were succesfull because he perfected his inventions in his head.

Is it possible that Tesla have had a lifetime Astral Projection? His brother had some mental powers... Is it possible that the fall (roof and umbrella, remember?) opened some closed doors in his head? I'm sure something like that happened.

This is happening for a few years now. It was not common when it begun but it's getting more common over time. In the last two weeks it happened on a three day basis.

Now the thing itself...

It is starting as a simple deja-vu and then I know exactly what will happen in the following few seconds or even minutes. I know what will I do, what will I say, what will do the person near me, I know exactly everything. And I can't do anything to change the course of things. Then, somehow, I know that I have dreamt the thing.

Can someone help me explaining the stuff? I've decided to track the thing. I'm running some kind of a diary... Here it is:

11-9-2003 x2
14-9-2003
17-9-2003

The strangest thing happened on 11-9-2003. I never had it twice in one day. This is the day when I decided to find out something about this.

Thank you

my brother is 5 years younger than me... in the time i had these dreams everything was ok... in the first dream we were walking on a small bridge over a stream (this bridge really exists near my house) and my brother fell into the stream... he was dying and i was trying to save him but our father held me and i could not jump down... n the second dream my brother fell out of a window in some hotel in budapest or prague... i know this because these cities were named in the hotel... we immediately ran down and found my brother lying on the concrete and dying... he was shaking in a strange way... couldn't explain it... u have to see it to understand...

anyway... my brother and i are really brothers... we never fought... sometimes i've hit him because he would not listen or was generally bad... but i never hit him just for fun or something like that... i like him and (i think) he likes me, too...

what third person? there were two of us on the beggining and later more than three (dunno the right number) and the zombie was my schoolmate, though i dunno which... seems that information that are not important are somehow cut out of my dreams...
#19
hmm... interesting... well, one of my (two) grandpas died a few years ago and i never dreamed with him... and while he was alive i can recall only one dream... we're sitting in front of his house on a porch and are fishing in a water that filled the yard...

but... still... i have had no dreams about my grandpa who died just three weeks ago... i mean i dreamed the whole thing before he died but nothing after that...
#20
thanx for your help... this is very important to me...

btw... just saw equilibrium... sick... watch if u can...

after thinking about my dream for some days i think that i saw only *one* zombie... the one i broke his neck (turned his head, some cracks, nothing happened... he kept on going)... i never saw other zombies... i just thought they were there... and i still can't get what that girl before the end of the dream meant... she was in a black two-part dress and was really beautiful... she had a name (i know this because another person called her by name) but i just can't remember it...

and by the way (this might have something with this dream) my grandpa died on wednesday... and three weeks ago (a few hours before my grandpa had a brain stroke i had a dream with him in which i was saying goodbye to him... twice...

any ideas?
