A friend of mine said she had this experience of watching herself leave her body and go outside of her house. She followed her second body for a while. Can this actually be considered as an out of body experience? Can you view your second body from a point of view other than first person while you're out? If so, does anyone have an experience with this? Or is it all just a dream?

O_o Oh.
I was not expecting that. I had no I idea what it was before but I never thought it would be something like this! So can someone see the past through it? Since it has to do with memories? Or am I just not understanding this?

Has anyone on this forum actually accessed these records? And what are they exactly? I would like to get some info about them. But from someone on this forum not some website.

Yes! I agree with the curiosity part. At least the people who deliberately try to do it are.

That's a releif. I thought sometimes people went to hell or some other place like that and they didn't know how to get out. That makes me feel much better about it. Thank you.

That's amazing. But it sounded very sad as well. Did you feel good about the experience afterwards? Almost like it assured you that he was ok after his death?
I'm asking because I sometimes worry about what will happen to my grandmother when she dies. And If making contact is possible, it might make me stop worrying if shes ok after death.

I recently finished reading Journeys Out of the Body today and I remember one part where Robert Monroe visited his dead father while out of body. After reading it it made me wonder if anyone on this forum has ever done this. Please, I would like to hear about any experience anyone has had with this sort of thing.

I want to astrally project for lots of reasons but I think the most important is to go from believing to knowing like Xanth said. But another reason would be to see beings that you wouldn't normally see in the physical like ETs or demons.

Ok, it makes sense to do it in the middle of the night or very early, that way no one is around to make noises, and i'm already completely relaxed from being asleep. I'll definitely start doing it this way from now on. Thank you.

Is it almost impossible to project when there are constant noises going on around you?
And is it best to try to OBE in the morning right when you wake up?

These encounters you all have had are very interesting to me.
I am new to this so I sometimes have trouble understanding everything people say on this forum. So, what does the collective unconcious have to do with people seeing what they want to see or not seeing what they want to see? I don't know what the collective unconcious is. I have an idea about what it is, but not a complete understanding.

I encountered one of the shadow people you spoke about. It was standing there in my doorway to my bedroom and it stared at me for a bit. I asked what it was. There was no answer and then it ran into me and knocked me back a bit. Then I looked around and it was gone. I had no idea what it was and I stayed there still for a while. It was terrifying and I don't sleep in that room too much anymore.

Why don't you want to see them?

Has anyone ever encountered any ET's during astral travel or an OBE? I have read so much about them and I was wondering if anyone on this forum has seen them?

Which is the best?
Laying down with arms and legs spread out, or sitting in a chair?
Or is the best crossing your arms across your chest laying down?
