Quote from: paker7
Quote from: beavispaker7, our civilization sucks. Why should I care? I
expect our civ will be replaced by something better.

It's possible that after the armageddon our planet would be a big nuclear wasteland, uninhabitable and dead for many 100s of millions of years.

Then what's the point of remaining an ex-smoker?

To all music loving members of Astral Pulse, please go to this site,

http://www.zippohottour.com/main.aspx ................................................................................................................................and vote "HOT" for your favorite band. I would HOWEVER like, very much like you to vote "HOT" for the band GRAY HAVEN. Doing this requires no downloads or purchases of any sort, just go there, sign up, get your freebies and vote for the Rock Band = GRAY HAVEN. Vote..."HOT".

Thank you for helping me on this, an unbiased and shameless attempt to affect the lives of four starving, very talented young artists. Rock On!!! Yeahhh!!! LOL!!!

P.S.~ Matt Boehm (lead singer) is my brother-in-law. Talented and down-to-earth guy.

Grey Haven AustinTX

Band Name: Grey Haven Bio: GREY HAVEN formed in 2000, originally going under the name "Alchemy" as a three-piece power trio consisting of Matt Boehm, Kevin Chapman, and Scott Schneider. "Alchemy" played countless shows in Austin, TX for over a year until they found out that a band in Pennsylvania had trademarked the name. Around the same time, they met Trey Ybarbo and decided to become a four piece to enhance their live sound and creativity. Based on the direction the band was headed they decided it was in their best interest to change the name to "Grey Haven", a medium between darkness and light. Their music, which has formulated into an explosive brand of hard rock with soulful lyrics, is reminiscent of the days when rock was truly an art form.

The more I read, the more interested I get about Rosicrucians. But I do have some basic questions...

.a)- What is their view on homosexuality?

.b)- Bisexualtiy?

.c)- What is their view on Divorce?

.d)- On Polygamous relationships and sex before marriage?

.e)- Since they believe in reincarnation, what then is the 'official' stance on cyrogenics and attempts at extreme (more than 120+ years)life extension?

.f)- What is their take on sex for purposes other than for just procreation? Do they think sex can be used for spiritual and pleasureable reasons? And if not, why do they think physical pleasure in a sexual nature can be disruptive or harmful?

I have more questions, but I'll just stick to the ones above for now. These questions were not posted in an advesarial light, or intended to put anyone on the spot. I am simply curious and wish to know more. Thank you for your time.  Please do not just refer me to a written book or pamphlet on this subject with no written response, either do both or respond with written words please, thank you.

At the risk of sounding like a ignorant butt, what do blind people see or sense in the astral?  How do deaf people percieve things?  Do we even have any members of this site who are disabled in some way?  How about the intellectually disabled?  I seriously wonder these things.  I truly want to know what it is that the blind man doesn't see in the astral or does see?

What is this place Thiaoouba?  I am currently doing my own research but what can you, oh valued members of the Astral Pulse tell me about this place???  I am all ears...[?]

Show's that are for, shows that are against even views inbetween the pro and con camp are invited.

Was he the holy son of God, fated to walk the earth briefly untill he was betrayed by one of his own and crucified, whereas he rose again and decended unto Heavan where he awaits God's order to deliver salvation and damnation unto the Earth?

Was he the rebel-rouser and early christian radical of Jewish faith, a Jew himself but again, not the same as his Jewish brethern?

Or was he a human being.  Born Emanuel Bar Joseph, son of Mary and due to his philisophical leanings and some rare gifts, still but a ordinary man caught up in something FAR bigger than himself?

Where did he REALLY end up?  In Heaven, somewhere around India under an assumed name.  Did he die on that cross for real?

I know what faith says, but how does history and logic bare this one out?

Earnest answers only.  I may not agree with you, but let's hear you out anyways.  Just back up your claims with fact or heavily-supported supposition. Jack-Asses need not reply...[}:)]

Does anyone here seriously have contact with any Rep's?  And no, I'm not talking about AMWAY reps (although they do have a great laundry soap![:P]) either, lol!

If you have had contact and feel comfortable talking about it openly, what would be some of the lessons you've learned/gleaned from your contact with Reptilians?  Whether that contact was through dreams, O.B.E., A.P., or otherwise...

If you haven't, or you wouldn't, or... if you had but have had BAD experiances with this specific group, why would you not do so again, if at all?

Thanks for your input!

How do you properly upload an avatar on this site?  I can do one for my quote section but not anywhere else...and it is getting mighty frustrating.  I sent a question into the staff and haven't gotten a reply, maybey I can get some help here.

I tried uploading the following image into the box in my profile that says, "Picture URL"  but no luck...
http://www.cyberkwoon.com/forum/images/avatars/18311831033f0aab23a7e76.jpg

I loaded this image into my quote section and 'voila'! It works.  But... it doesn't work if I repeat the process in the picture URL box, what gives?

Help, anyone help me, please???

Thanks~GhostRider

I have come across some disturbing information, and am still investigating it, but if it's true, wouldn't it stand to reason then that Satanists and Christians are but long lost brothers on the religious family tree?  What do our members who are christians and our other members who are satanists think of this?

(I apologize if this has been talked about before, I did some research on it here and couldn't find a post that delt specifically with it so here goes my question...)

I've heard and read lots of articles and stories about Astral Projection, N.D.E.'s (both good and bad) and O.B.E.'s.  What's the real difference?  Is it a matter of perception, or is a misnomer to class the three as similiar or the same?  I've talked to people in real life who've had N.D.E.'s (bad ones and good ones) and who O.B.E. and Astral project on a semi-regular basis.  They just gave me more questions... so maybe you could help, that is you, the other members of this here Astralpulse site.  All viewpoints, religious, spiritual, agnostic, philisophical, and scientific will be welcome.  I cannot promise to agree with all viewpoints but I would be more than happy to hear from you all. Mustardseed, James S, Beth, Nagual, all of you and more are welcome to post with your viewpoints.

I've been recently watching specials on Discovery (the lost book of Mary), History Channel, and elsewhere.  I've been reading books on lost sects of Christianity and it seems to me that the seeds were broadcast much farther than first suspected.  As well, some interesting takes on the Christian message have arisen, such as you might find even today in modern China with a form of Christianity that is far older than the United States or the discovery of the New World.

It seems to be a mixture of Daoism, Eastern Christian Orthodox as well as Buddhism and Confucianism.  They have the most refreshing outlook on christianity that I have ever read or heard of, it's minus all the bullsh*t you'd see and hear about on the crazed fundamentalist christian T.V. channels like TBN, CBN, etc...  it's minus all the doublespeak and guilt-laden mixed messages you'd get from Rome these days, it's just a REAL different and very enlightened (in my humble opinion) interpretation of a religion that most free-thinking and educated (traditionaly or self-educated) folks have all but abandoned.  I haven't been this impressed since reading the books of Bishop Spong.

The book I am reading now is called, "The Jesus Sutras", (rediscovering the Lost Scrolls of Taoist Christianity) Martin Palmer... there are more, but it's nice to start in the singular, it makes your path more straightforward.  Well, if anyone has encountered this, what's your take on it?

I just finished reading "Liberating The Gospels" , "Why Christianity Must Change Or DIE" , "Living In Sin" and "Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism" by John Shelby Spong and I must say that I am duly impressed!

For the longest time I seen Christianity, both modern and traditional suffer the slow death of irrelevance (amongst a populace who knows better) and whacky Southern fundamentalism (which is just as destructive and dangerous as any brand of Islamic Fundamentalism).  I thought, for sure, without any visionaries this is a dead faith.  Again, I point to Christianity's only real lasting growth is amongst poorer less educated countries of the world and the poorer, less educated and more backward regions of the United States.  For sure, I thought Christianity had started the slow, downward spiral and was going to go the way of the carnival side show.

But then a friend of mine introduced me to this book, "Why Christianity Must Change Or DIE" and I was relieved once more to see a visionary back in the church.

Obviously, you can tell I am a fan of this man named John Shelby Spong... but what are your thoughts on him?  Any other fans?  Any player-haters out there?  Speak up, I am listening my children...[}:)]

Now, and this is disturbing to me[:(!] (hopefully it's just the folks I meet down here in the Southwest U.S.A.) but most of us spiritually high-minded folks and and seekers tend to be well...for a better word... EXTREMELY out of shape[:O] and VERY overweight[:O].  WHY IS THAT?   Does it have to be that way?  Yes, it would SEEM that with the advent of Yoga and Pilates, and exercise systems like Charles Atlas and Matt Furey, Total Gyms, etc... that we should be fielding a whole crop of fresh, energetic, dynamic, fit individuals who are taking spiritual development to new hights.  But someone forgot to tell most of us this in the Southwest and I do suspect it's the same elsewhere.  I'm more likely to come across a out-of-shape (one-more-heart-attack-and-I'm-a-goner) sort of people.  People who probably haven't tied their own shoes effortlessly in quite awhile... why does this have to be in this society of riches and opportunity for growth?

I'm no exception to this issue and have begun to take steps to change that in myself.

But wouldn't it make sense to have an equally well developed body to house a well developed soul in?  Wouldn't it make sense to free the body from it's limitations and increase your effectiveness in the spiritual realm?  I know most folks I come across tell me that it doesn't matter how healthy you are physically, (BUT if you LOOK out of shape, you ARE out of shape, no-one heard of a healthy fat man, believe me, I tried to tell myself that for a long time, doesn't wash at all... LOL!
[}:)] )

Think of it, if you're body is just basically a conductor for spiritual energy, physical energy etc... doesn't it stand to reason that the healthier you make your body the stronger you're spiritual presence will be?  I've been told that these two subjects are two different topics, but how can that be?  Until you physically seperate the two (we can't with much success or consistency yet, at least not very many of us can...) proper health in either the spiritual or physical realm of your being WILL effect things for better or for worse.

I'm sure that folks in this community are more well-rounded in this subject than I and I was wondering what you're thoughts were on the subject...

Has anyone here used a 'touch-based' physical means of healing yourself or your loved ones?  Have you used it to augment what you do on a psychic level?  I have experiance with a system called EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique and since I know that there are other versions of the same healing way out there, I was wondering if there might be some practitioners willing to trade tips and anecdotes about this?  If you do use it, how does it come to play with your psychic work?  Is this something you use only on yourself or just yourself and some loved ones?

A short description of EFT...

What is EFT?

-EFT is a psychological use of the acupuncture meridian points - instead of using needles, you learn to tap with your fingertips on the meridian points while saying some statements.
As odd as it may sound, it works. And most importantly, it is simple and easy to use.

A short description of G-Jo Accupressure

-It really shined as a first aid and healing art
of the Samurai

-G-Jo is far more powerful than most drugs or medicines ... and it works in seconds!
G-Jo is a kind of acupuncture, but without the needles.  Instead, you use your fingertip -- nothing else -- to perform acupressure. Upon mastering G-Jo -- first-aid of Japan's fabeled Samurai warriors -- you fear no pain or injury.
And when you apply G-Jo Acupressure, you go from suffering to relief -- incredible as this may sound -- in half a minute, or less ... even in dire emergencies!

I don't mean to sound like a pitch man for any of these techniques but if you do something similiar or you do these healing arts, I'd love to hear from you and how it works with your psychic work.

[8]I'm no expert on this subject but I bet there's a few seasoned veterans out here who could qualify on this particular subject.  My question is, in your experiance, what is better for inducing overall inner growth and O.B.E.'s.  Is it the tried-and-true HEMISYNC or is it the newcomer (technologically speaking) HOLOSYNC?

a.)- I am not trying to start a war between fans of either technology,[}:)] but obviously, one is better than another, which would it be?[?]

b.)- How's this for a wild card... who here wouldn't touch either gadget with a ten foot pole and would just as soon attain the same effect via old fashioned methods of mastering meditation, etc...?
#21
I am new to O.B.E.'s at least deliberately causing one to happen.  Accidently I used to do them a lot more when I was a child and quite effortlessly I might add.  The older I got (I am thirty now...) the less "connected" I became with my world/Gaia and I am now on a quest to rectify that situation.  In my pursuit of "total" development (i.e.~ Physical, Mental, Spiritual) I have purchased the following tools and books upon advisement of those around me who have been doing this for awhile now and from my research on the subject.

My question is multi-faceted...

a.)- Are these all the tools I should need to begin with?  If not, any suggestions?

b.)- I don't want the journey to be spoiled for me but if there's anything I should watch for in particular or anything I should not do... please tell me.  And of what value is R.Bruce's book Psychic Defence to me when I'm just starting out, is it for someone with more experiance?

c.)- Here is a list of the tools I have at my avail...

-Holosync C.D.'s the two introductory C.D's that help you get started in their twelve C.D. program.

-"Ultimate Journey" - Robert A. Monroe
-"Adventures Beyond The Body" - William Buhlman
-"The Death And Afterlife Book" - James A. Lewis
-"The Biology Of Trancendence" - Joseph Chilton Pearce
-"Remote Viewing Secrets" - Joseph McMoneagle (a very informative but dry and text-bookish tomb, can you tell I've started on this book? Lol!)
-"The Silva Mind Control Method" - Jose' Silva / Philip Miele

P.S.~ Am I loaded for Bear and ready to move out, or do I have more to get?  I am already well versed in P.R.T. (progressive relaxation techniques, etc....

Is there any particular order I should be doing this in or just follow my heart/instinct on this one?

Then you know what to put in it?  eh'?  LOL!  Just joking, I love the Irish!

Speaking of Irish ghosts, have you seen High Spirits, the movie?  Loved that flick, now, on to some more pressing matters, have you a specific question of or about ghosts?

I don't know how much farther we can go... but this is how it was explained to me, at least the visualization end of the explanation of how things were set up...

I do think that life did not come out of pure 'nothingness'.  I do believe in life as being designed.  But how it was designed and by who, we can never really know at this point, unless you're into doing a lot of channeling, and then they may only tell you what they think you want to hear, or what they think you can handle.  Either way, it's hard to do background checks on information from aliens or channeled aliens, so I tend to ignore it alltogether and go with what I can work with.  That may limit me, but all anyone can really say is that our origins will, untill we have a GREAT-BIG-ALMIGHTY leap in technology (time travel, astro-archeology, faster than light travel, and regular contact with ancient races) this isn't going to much more than an intelligent theory.

I have been wondering whether Jesus and Lucifer (and other famous and not-so-famous religious duos elsewhere) are the Yin/Yang representation of our own species morality and by creating these two creatures we provide ourselves with a forum to act out our higher and more banal sides of our nature, as well as give the less intellectually curious and  less independantly-minded amongst us something to hold on to (belief-wise) so that they don't feel so alone?

Just a thought, any takers?
