Your body/mind got used the vibration/pulsing/surge of energy you experienced the first time so it doesn't panic anymore when you try to project.
My first exit experiences were shocking, frightening, intense. Now all I get is a mild buzzing and that's when I know I have to get out until full paralysis sets in and I'm literally stuck.

Yeah, that makes  a lot of sense!

My body has gotten used to all the exit techniques I'm trying, so a technique only works the first or second time for me. Then I'm back where I started.

It might be. I just have no idea how to fix it.

Hi everyone.

I'm not nearly as experienced as many on this forum, but I'm not a complete beginner to energy work/astral projection. I've been meditating on my chakras since I was 16 (I'm 20 now). When I was 16, after 3 months of energy work, I achieved an OBE using the rope technique. For about a year after my initial OBE, I had many projection experiences - sometimes I induced them voluntarily, sometimes I was simply thrown out of my body. During this time, I felt my chakras open and pulse with energy. The main technique I used was always the rope technique.

After about a year and a half, meditating on my chakras and using the rope technique, I started having problems with inducing OBEs, and getting "accidental" OBEs (getting thrown out of my body). I started to feel less and less energy in my chakras.

This problem has lasted until now. I've tried many new techniques - visualization, yo yo, changing up the amount of time in between my chakra exercises, inducing the trance state, regulating my sleep, you name it, I may have tried it.

I'm just really confused about where to go from here. I NEED to project, it's one of the only things that makes me happy. I just have no idea where to go from here.
