yes. i think oob is actually inside the body at all times and happens within the chakras which control the projections like a rc remote.

guides are a different version of yourself. are you a female angel or halo character?

they use information you have in your memory bank to form mental images. if you want to help your guide then it is good to learn more concepts and skim through pictures. later on those pictures are brought back to your attention and they say "remember this?"

also their energy derives from a hot ball above your head that permeates into the chest. most people are bothered by an increase of energy so guides tend to "back off" until a person says "Okay make it happen"

all that is needed to begin contact is your permission and genuine readiness to proceed. a "Yes" initiates a fusion where your guide begins to "sit" on you more and more in the upper body areas. eventually you become the guide and your thoughts come from above and below, becoming a dialogue of the higher self and middle self.

also guides tend to be 5th dimensional and work by sending feelings and not spoken words, unlike 4th dimensional "mental" beings. if you are looking for your higher self thinking that it is not you then it will be hard to pinpoint it.

i think it helps to understand the perspective of the higher self by speaking to your lower self who is childish. then you can understand how hard it is to communicate with someone who doesn't want to listen to you. you are middle self who is in the chest. each person is a combination of 3 main people in one with the body as the house.

It's been a while since I've seriously attempted projecting again, and I have taken my past experiences for granted and never write them down. This time I immediately documented the session in notepad. The reason I haven't tried in a few months is because projecting takes me quite a bit of effort to pull off properly(maintaining memory, developing control over astral body, getting real body to sleep, overcoming fear of the dark, etc..). I enjoy lucid dreams very much and learn great lessons from them, but to me there is no mistake between lucidity and projection. I only say that for readers who aspire to project but still aren't sure if the astral world is a reality or not. Anyway!  

I've been asking for help and permission from my guides for a few days prior to this experience. What I wanted exactly was to visit the Akashic library which I have read, has an entrance or doorway behind an Egyptian monument. So it was sort of on my "wishlist" that I be able to visit it one day because I just like libraries and that sort of stuff.

Got bored of being awake on Christmas night because holidays aren't my thing, so I had a few choices. Either try to play an online game grudgingly or take advantage of the quiet time and project. Usually my mind/ego is active so I avoid the dark, because it causes me to unintentionally think of mean spirits and accidentally taunt them with my ego's childish sense of humor. On this particular night I felt brave/relaxed/peaceful. Unfortunately I laid there for a while and could only get as far as making my body 70-80% paralyzed. The efforts made me quite exhausted so I accepted defeat for the day and just went to sleep. I woke up a few hours later remembering my failure from a while ago and sighed a little. Then I realized that my body was in a perfect state! I was energized but my body was still ready for more sleep. So I seized the chance and in a short amount of time, I shifted into the spirit state and was successfully active in the astral world.

Floated up with upper body first to get into vertical position. I took a moment to mentally pat myself on the back and felt like this ->. Okay so I looked around and felt dumb because I clearly sensed everything properly but couldn't see anything but a whole lot of darkness. Then I was like, oh stupid, haven't opened my eyes. After that, everything was quite clear. In fact the clarity of this session impressed me. Everything was good and I had time to take it slow. Flew forward a few feet. Before straying from my real body I always say a few things for protection. Then I proceed with my goal by preparing to teleport to the Akashic library. Closed my eyes and said "Akashic records" a few times with intention but I ended up not moving an inch. So I flew towards the door of my room and went through it into the hall, then turned right into a family member's room where they were sleeping. I lightly grazed them with my hand to reconfirm reality. Didn't want to give a creepy feeling so I mentally said to them, "Bless, love and light." Flew out the window behind their bed out into the back yard. Looked up into a slightly cloudy sky. Flew up at it at about a 45 degree angle. Got caught a few feet under electric cables. The force of it began sucking my body in. Quickly accelerated toward the sky to get free. Mentally said a prayer again before going further, with the words "No one but the lord god can touch me, and divine mother and father, and christs." And I think I said arcturians also because I've recently accepted help from them for energetic work. Prayed again with more intention, but saying with mouth, "No one can touch me but the lord our god." Heard the first few words come out broken up and scratchy. I guess talking is something I won't try to do again.

Mentally said "Akashic records please, akashic records." Looked around and still in same place. Flew directly up in hopes of breaking through star fields. Began getting tired and not getting where I wanted so I decided to end the session. Woke up back to physical reality in a pretty good mood. Had a small smile and felt grateful. Said thanks to the beings who assisted with this experience, and then "Love and light, adonai."



Although I did not get to the hall of records, I don't mind so much about that at all. The important thing is getting out once in a while, dimensionally speaking, so we can remind ourselves that the universe is big and fun and there's no reason to get bored like I did. Sometimes, although rare, I feel stuck inside the physical world and all I can do to escape that is to read and listen to other people speak about other dimensions. Being able to experience it for yourself is somewhat of a treasure.
