Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / Re: Stalked
September 20, 2011, 10:20:27
I really don't believe this thread will progress in any positive manner. Everyone has given their advice, whether helpful or not. The OP asked for help, and the pulse has given him/her what we could. This is not a rant nor religious thread, it was a thread seeking advice, which has been given.

Unless anyone has other suggestions for the OP, I think it would be best to let this thread go.

Sounds like the usual things you get before falling asleep. I don't believe there is anything special about them, at least not in the spirit guide sense. Did you get any odd sensations or feelings while seeings these orbs?

Wow, naturaldreamer, lay off the caps. Why don't you step off the little rant train and explain to us why you think meditation is bad, and why you feel you are at your weakest in your sleep. "Church" songs are the same as any personal song or mantra, it doesnt have to be about jesus or any religion; it's about the intent of pure energy and protection.

It's just the normal operation of your physical eyes.  Nothing special going on here.
I figured as much. I enjoy it anyway; it's a pretty fun way to enter trance.

Ah, I've seen these since I was a boy. Looks just like static. Shimmering, flying static, everywhere. Takes a while to focus in on it sometimes, though.

Well bud, it would be helpful if we had a little more to work with than "little lights or orbs". Describe them more, what color were they, how many, how did they make you feel?

It could have just been natural hypnagogic imagery.

Sometimes I absolutely hate false awakenings. There have been times where I've had more than 30 of them in one night, and it can become almost maddening. However, once I get used to them, I can easily have lucid dreams.

Use them to your advantage!

I have something like this, but it's not the sensation of spinning, it's like the sensation of zooming in and out at dizzying speeds. Used to get it almost every time I laid down as a kid, but now only every once in a while. Quite distracting, makes daydreaming impossible, and nothing like projection vibrations, really.

Well, it is quite possible your spirit was healing itself, and it is also possible that there is an energetic blockage or problem in the affected area. I would say continue to play/work with your energies. Circulate fresh, golden energy through your hand, with the intent of healing it.

Hope you get better!  :-)

Well, it seems most members here are into the unconditional love-be open to all mindset. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but having my origins in occult sciences, I believe that negative/low vibrational entities can and do attach/leech onto people, and showing them unconditional love wont always shoo them away. Nor are they always "guides" with your best interests at heart.

I don't know if the original poster is still attending this thread, but I would recommend grounding yourself (Pulling energy into your spirit; google it, there are many ways. Find one, or make your own.), erecting a bubble of protective energy around yourself (Again, many ways to do this), strengthening the bubble with symbols of protection (Some enjoy pentagrams, I prefer to make and charge my own symbols.), then perhaps performing a banishing ritual. I would suggest working with a ritual you have created yourself, but the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram may work fine, if you enjoy that kind of thing.

It is all about willpower and visualization. My own banishing ritual is quick and simple, as my intent is perfectly clear, the words are just icing on the cake. It goes something like this: (After Grounding, creating your bubble of energy, and sealing it with your symbols) "I now banish all Negative and harmful energies, entities, and influences from my body, spirit, and mind. My sacred space protects me from all forms of harm, and draws inward, pure, healing, and helpful energy to rejuvenate my being."

Sometimes I change this up a bit, make it sound fancy, but it’s all the same in the end. Now, for all those talking of guides, at the end of your ritual you may, if you desire, call on the guides that DO have your best interests at heart. Again, make up your own prayer/meditation/invocation. It can go like this “I now call upon all helpful, guiding, and protecting spirits and energies. I welcome you into my sacred space, and welcome your aid. May you protect and guide me on my spiritual path.” I elaborate on this, but you get the idea.

Hello Ryan! Welcome to the pulse. Are you referring to something like the Akashic records? It sounds rather similar; A place of knowledge on a non-physical level...

Welcome to the pulse! Drugs can be a handy learning tool, but they are only that; tools and helpers. They should be used sparingly, and with great respect. It is best to have a specific intent or purpose for taking the drug, rather than just using it to trip.

As for opening the mind's eye, I would say learn more about energy movement exercises, and please don’t just focus on the third eye. When too much energy gathers up there, it can become extremely distracting and disturbing. I'd recommend a little reading, if you're curious; perhaps "Journeys out of the body" if you're only curious, and "Astral Dynamics" if your serious.

I've used many substances, and usually the purely euphoric "rush" drugs, such as meth and coke just distract the mind, and make it engage in vicious thought loops that you can't seem to let go of. Alcohol is pretty distracting as well, and too much makes you temporarily useless on a spiritual level, in my opinion. Downers, such as valium or the like can be useful, as it relaxes the mind greatly, and in my case, puts me in a state of heightened creativity and loosened energy; but again, it is easy to become lost in the euphoric vortex.

If you insist on taking any drugs at all, I'd say stick with the psychedelics, the tools that teach you things, rather than shut off your perceptions, or greatly distract you.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: This fly loves me
September 05, 2011, 15:25:12
Sometimes I feel like the unwilling Prince of flies. They always love to sit on my hands and shoulders, and most of the time, if I am outside, I let them stay for a minute or two, thinking that they are just resting. However, once I actually shoo them away, they just land on my shoulder or knee. This has happened with dozens of flies. And it's not because of hygiene either; I constantly groom and clean myself, just like a fly!  :-D
#15
Congratulations, I think!  :-D  I never get scared when vibrations come; not even my first time. I just get so ecstatic that I end up driving them away.
#16
Not all spirits/entities are guides. It could just be that you happened upon an entity who merely commented on your state of being. I'd recommend continuing your practices, and if the entity shows up again, just talk to it, ask it questions, etc.
#17
It is quite normal, at least in my experience. I find the feeling quite enjoyable, but can understand your distress. Avoid focusing your willpower/attention on that area, and when it is vibrating at such a high state, attempt to visualize all that energy spreading out to the rest of your body.

Don't fear it, or anything of the sort, and if it refuses to disperse, just relax, and let it work it's course. Find out what it means, and where it will take you. The third eye is a wonderful thing, but it can be quite disorienting and problematic if too much energy is gathered there.

*sigh* I'm tired of this....they contribute nothing but condescending, smart-butt comments. I call for a ban.

Erm...this is no proof. Not everything you feel and experience is real. The experience is very much subjective and what you feel could be illusory. The same goes to Chi energy. I could hypnotise you into such a suggestive state of mind as to make you believe that you are feeling your Chakras. Hell, I could even make you believe you are naked when you are clothed. :-D

Oh yeah...I almost missed this. You've seen them you've felt them big deal...this is not proof. Hallucinations, active imagination and the feeling of being energised could be due to the release of neurotransmitters/hormones in the body like endorphins, serotonin, norepinephrine, or gamma-Aminobutyric acid. All very much PHYSICAL and REAL!

I think your kind of an butt, but I don't dislike you. ^ ^

Well, if that is the case, if I can experience it, feel it, see it, everything else, what makes it different from objective things? I can feel and experience them.....whats your reasoning here, ya madman?

Hallucinations? From hundreds of people who have practiced with this? I think your a closed-minded, open-minded person, summer.

@c0sm0nautt

I have theories, of course, but I've never had an experience with them, so I don't want to try and pretend I know what they are, or what people have experienced.

Hallucinations...just hallucinations...Are you seeing anyone about this?

I wanted to revive this thread and create more of a heated debate.

Whats the point? Everyone shared what they wanted to share...or did you just want people to get upset at each other for their beliefs?  :-)

You.....you didn't just watch "The secret", did you?  :| Hate that movie. And the book.

You're right actually. Perhaps I should rephrase my post. How can you talk about something as though you are certain of its existence when there is absolutely no proof. It's a bloody concept. Nothing more.

Because you can work with them, feel them, and experience them?
