Artificial Earthquakes... wasn't the the premise for the movie "The Core"?   :)

As for my earlier comment...
I believe it has to do with all the mass amounts of negative energy that humanity is putting out.
It's having a massive effect upon the Earth as a whole.  I feel that we're poisoning the Earth's energy.

Just my belief. :)

I actually really agree with what you are saying. It's as if all the negative things we do are wearing down the Earth and eventually, at some point... It has to 'break'.

Hi I'm 16 too and kinda feel the same way, I get the vibrational sensation but can't seem to get any further...
Guess the best advice anyone could give you is to stay calm and practice. The more you get used to the sensation the more normal it will feel and hopefully your heart rate won't increase?

Thanks guys, I'll definitely take time to read the FAQ section and invest in a digital recorder.
Until I get the recorded I'll be sure to write all my dreams/experiences down.

Thanks again,
Thomas :-)

Hey thanks for your reply, I've set my alarm extra early just so I can try again...   :-)

I'll do as you say and just let the vibrations spread all over my body, hopefully I'll be able to project.  :-D
I'll tell you what the outcome is...

Hi everyone,

I'm a 16 year old boy and I think I am getting pretty close to Astral Projection but something is holding me back, tell me what you think...

On Friday I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time (well at least I think I did). I woke in the morning to my alarm going off accidentally, it's a school holiday this week so I was planning on sleeping in.

I turned off my alarm and then began to drift back to sleep. Around five minutes later my body started to vibrate! It wasn't furious or uncomfortable, it just felt strange. I was unsure as to what was going on so I tried to stand up and walk downstairs to ask my mother. It was at this point I found I couldn't move. No matter how hard I tried.

Once I regained full control of my body I carried out an internet search and found out it was pretty common and called sleep paralysis. So with informing myself on the subject and learning a little bit about astral projection. I decided to try it again.

I was able to get to the state of sleep paralysis rather easily and pretty fast again. I think it was because I was still pretty tired but once I was at this sate I couldn't go any further. I tried floating above my body, swinging out, everything I could think of.

I then tried to repeat the process on Saturday but I couldn't get to that state again so I just left it for a few days and this morning I tried again. I was successful again, I vibrated etc... But I still couldn't go any further. I have not experienced any of the hallucinations other people seem to get although today I did feel like I was being touched for the first time, I know it's all in my mind though so it didn't scare me. I just want to know what the problem is? What is holding me back?

*Sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes I wrote this on my phone
