Welcome to Members Introductions! / Hello All
August 20, 2011, 13:42:25
I would like to say hello because I have been reading the posts and studying astral projection for several months now. I decided to study it because I want to try to figure out why I continuously dream about places before I actually see them in real life. This happens all the time to me. I will go to a new place, or go on vacation and I will have dreamed about the place, sometimes years beforehand. This has helped me instruct people where to go, since in the dream I saw the place was on the other side of a freeway, or helps me decide on which house to rent since I had dreams about some of the houses and the dreams weren't happy ones. I usually try to live in a place that I haven't dreamed about although I usually remember the dream sometime later. When I heard of astral projection I thought maybe that is how I have these experiences. If so, then the astral projections are coming across to me as a dream, or I am astral projecting within dreams. What do you think?

The fact that two people can meet out of body and find that their experiences coincide with one another suggesting that they have gone to the same place is interesting to me because I know that telepathy is a genuine skill that can be developed since I have enjoyed using it with someone that I know (who is better at using it than I am). I have wondered if the people are not just sending detailed imaginings telepathically to one another. Our minds are always trying to put pictures to the energies that are perceived.

That said, I know that astral projection exists because I see "vardoger" fairly often. The first time I realized that is what was happening was when I was talking to my mother in law and waiting for my sister in law and her elderly father that she was taking care of. He had "dementia" and didn't really communicate to anyone. While we were waiting, I saw a shape form in front of my mother in law. I looked at her to see if she would say she saw it too but she didn't. Later, when they arrived, my sister in law said that while they were driving over, her father spoke up in the car and said "there's Katy!" (my mother in law's name). I knew then that it was his "astral" body that I had seen. Since then, I have seen my daughter's, my neighbors, and others. The other thing I see all the time is thought forms.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and that I am here trying to figure all this stuff out.

The fact is that there are people who can see energy and some can also see chakras. If you are sensitive enough you can feel the concentration of energy in those areas. Most people work with 7 chakras but people that can see them usually can see additional ones.

Chakras? I may partially subscribe to Hinduism (in a metaphorical sense, I won't go into this now) and Tibetan Buddhism but...I draw the line at Chakras. I don't do any work with them whatsoever. I induce my OOBEs from SP/VS...that's it. How can you guys talk about something that you don't even know exists for sure?

So I'm wondering if you did AP before you heard of any of these "levels"

b/c if not, you should have also run into the belief system when you AP'd afterwards correct?

and then after hearing about the "levels" your saying that you are unable to AP without running into this belief system.

Following any model (Monroe's, Frank) will be just like making a belief system. Like you followed religion with the concept of father, son and holy ghost.

I see that everybody wants to understand it before going into it. It is like you want to learn swimming without going into pool.

I am seeing things very differently than Frank said. If I start writing, I know there will be another model. That is why I avoid writing anything about kind of experience I get, because I experience something very different than said in books.

So, go, experience and then make any conclusion. There is no use for all these knowledge, because you can not follow these steps when you are there.

Frank himself didn't follow Monroe and tried to experience things of his own. If he would have started following f1,f2,f3,f4,f5 then he wouldn't have known what he experienced.

I have had many instances of precognition, including one of
a family member that I dreamed about that had a stroke.
I never had seen the family member and was never around
him. No one ever talked about him.
Everyone is ready to accept ideas about astral travel but
not precognition?
It is a form of precognition that I also get when I visit a
place in a dream years before I actually see it in real life.

I just wanted to let you know that I have talked to
three different phone psychics that gave me very
good information that turned out true on all accounts.
I don't think you should just have a blanket idea
regarding all of these people.

Two of the psychics I never heard from again. The third one
is also a reiki healer and sends emails once or twice
a year with special pricing she offers for this.

I see Seth as a someone who speaks primarily from a focus 4 (per Frank Kepple) perspective. If you read the series-
Seth speaks, The Nature of Personal Reality, etc. you will see what I mean. The books are supposed to be the personality that is channeled through Jane Roberts.

"You are not stuck in time like a fly in a closed bottle, whose wings are therefore useless. You cannot trust your physical senses to give you a true picture of reality. They are such lovely liars, with such a fantastic tale to tell that you believe it without question...your environment changes constantly but you rationalize away quite legitimate intuitive perception at such times. For example, if a room suddenly appears small and cramped to you, you take it for granted that this change of dimension is imaginative, and that the room has not changed regardless of your feelings. The fact is that the room has changed quite definitely even though the physical dimensions will still measure the same- since the instruments within such a room would themselves have already altered to the same degree." - Seth

Those are some of my favorite quotes that I agree with from Seth speaks. I have felt a lot of the same things- with time and space. Whenever we take a road trip, it is somehow faster and easier to return in the same space, and if I keep moving or traveling, I feel like time moves differently for me.
