I know I should probably ask this question elsewhere, but I'm most familiar with this forum.  Anyway, I need to know if anyone here can speak fluent Portuguese (Brazilian or main-land) and would be willing to translate something for me?  Thanks.

I understand the physical senses: sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell.  I am also aware of two astral senses: clairyonance and clairaudience, and I understand they are connected to the Anja (brow) and Vishuddha (throat) Chakras respectively.  But what I would like to know is what other astral senses exist (the equivilents of taste, touch, and smell and/or new ones) and what Chakras they are connected to.  Thank you.

What would be more helpful for attaining out-of-body experiences, the Hemi-Sync (Gateway series, for example) or the Brainwave Generator?

Also, is it true that binaural beats can actually trigger heart attacks in those with heart problems?  The reason I ask is because I believe I may have cardiac arrhythmia (I am not quite sure yet, I am sceduled for a EKG later this week) and I do not want to risk using either brain entrainment products without knowing the facts first.  Thanks.

I read in Astral Dynamics about the existence of other colors only visible in the astral planes.  Now, I know it would be impossible to describe them, but I would just like to know how many there actually are (and their names, if they have any).  And also, does anyone know of any Hemi-Sync CDs that allow you to actually see these colors in your mind's eye?  Thanks.
#5
I was considering ordering a Hemi-Sync CD the other day but realized I had no clue which one to buy.  (As you probably know, there are a myriad to choose from.)  You see, I want one that will help me with energy raising and OBEs, and I was wondering if any of you know which particular CD(s) would help me the most.  Thanks.

Since the dawn of science, any form of supernatural "evidence" has been thrown out the window; discarded like it were meaningless.  The whole scientific community, although dedicates a study to it, denies the event of out-of-body experience as being "physically" possible.  Yet, we seem to forget the fact that the Physical Plane is made up of seven subplanes, and modern science has only seemed able to test the first four (solids, liquids, gases, and plasmas).  Therefore, the real-time zone really isn't a buffer zone overlaying the Physical Plane, but rather, the remaining three subplanes of it.  When we heighten our consciousness (otherwise known as an out-of-body experience) we are really tuning into the additional subplanes that cannot be observed otherwise.  Just like a virus cannot perceive what a gas is, as it is too expanded on the molecular level to be declared a tangible force.  Whilst on the subject, viruses don't actually utilize gases anyways, and they are usually inert (and in a way, dead) unless when they're in contact with a biotic solid and/or liquid compound.

Back on topic, what I am really suggesting right now is that the real-time zone is just as scientifically physical as the rest of our world is, just existing at higher vibrations.  If this is true, then the real-time zone can be tested just as equally.  For example, by adding an acidic solution to a basic solution, the H+ and OH+ ions even out and form a salt.  If the real-time zone is still physical, then a similar experiment can be conducted using higher subplane mediums.  But then again, that would mean developing special tools for use in the higher subplanes, and that is no easy task.  It would take many millennia of evolution in technology to do so, thus, it will not happen anytime soon.  This can be likened to caveman trying to split atoms with only a rock and a stick.  This is why I believe technology is too overrated.  Just take a look at astronomy for example.  For decades now, we have been exploring the heavens, and despite our baby-steps, we have uncovered a somewhat generous amount of knowledge about the universe.  Yet, we are still limited by our technology, and by the fact that we are still only human, at least in a scientist's perspective.

I, however, do not believe we are limited by being human.  In fact, I believe it is again technology that hinders our quest for understanding of our reality.  No matter how strong or fast we can build a spaceship, in the end, it will never go as fast or as far as we'll need it.  After all, the human vehicle (body) wields a greater technology, a greater machine than can be built with our hands.  It is a "spaceship" more advanced than any conceivable by physical means--the astral body.

With out-of-body experiences, we are not limited by the confines of the lower subplanes (I am referring to the Physical Plane still), and can thus travel across the physical universe with ease.  Want to know if there really was water on Mars at one time?  Why not project there and examine the rocks in person (after all, with astral sight, you can see their inner texture).  Or maybe you're itching to know if Europa really hides a sub-ocean.  You can take a trip there in a matter of seconds and see for yourself.

Now how does science tie in with this?  Well, in the future, man should be able to develop tools for use in the real-time zone.  Scientists will be able to scientifically test compositions of our neighboring and distant planets for existence of life.  They'll be able to find out exactly how our sun really works, and how it transfers energy above the known subplanes.  Perhaps they could even find potentially dangerous space objects on a collision course with Earth, thousands of years in advance.  Even today, although lacking of the obvious, we can still explore the depths of our universe, and make observations.  There is a debate in the scientific community right now as to whether Mars is really the "red planet" or not.  There is a conspiracy floating around that NASA has been altering the Martian photographs for the last two decades, portraying the planet as having a red sky and ground.  But if you really take a good look at those photographs, you can clearly tell they're fake; there is no distinct tone between the ground and the sky.  You see, I believe Mars actually has a blue sky and a butterscotch-colored surface, almost like the Mojave Desert without the vegetation.

Now, I'm not just making this up here, there is a plethora of evidence out there to support my theory.  Just type in "mars" in the 'Images' section of Google and you'll get at least three to four pictures of this "blue Mars" on the very first page.  Not to mention there are numerous reports about this from the Hubble team, emphasizing that "a blue Martian atmosphere clearly outlines the planet."  But all this can be settled quite easily.  Someone who is experienced at 'projecting' and knows the location of Mars in our sky at all times, can project there and see for himself who is lieing.  You see, if you want to get anything done right, you've got to do it yourself.  You can't rely on others (such as NASA) to do it for you, as you will only get excrement in return.  It's this neglect for responsibility that limits us, not fact that we are only human.

Speaking of which, someone once said, "With great power comes great responsibility," (actually, it was SpiderMan's father) and I believe we humans are advanced enough to be responsible for our own fate.  Despite the fact that God "urges us not to meddle with things beyond our understanding," out-of-body experiences are a natural part of life.  They're also natural in regard to exploration.  Why do we rely on man-made technology to take its place?  And then we wonder why people have died in airplanes, in trains, cars, and boats.  All this emphasize on a technologically ideal society has done nothing more than beget our downfall.  Science is the manifestation of our genius through our minds, not our hands.  If we can learn to accept this, we can establish that link between science and the supernatural. It's possibly the only way to discover the meaning of life...

I can't seem to have an OBE no matter what I try.  Could someone please give me a schedule, per se, outlining a procedure I could follow to have an OBE?  Thanks.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Feeling Colors?
February 26, 2004, 13:33:43
I was reading in this book, The Mind and Beyond, that it is possible to learn how to differenciate between colors just by feeling them.  For example, the colors Red, Orange, and Yellow may be on a piece of paper.  One would say Red feels like sandpaper, Orange a bumpy texture, and Yellow a little slippery.  Advanced individuals are even able to tell which color it is which just by hovering their hand over them.

Does anyone know what this ability is called?  I've searched the web and have found zero information on the subject.  Thanks.

I have been doing a lot of research lately on the anatomy of the brain in relation to psionics and various forms of extra-sensory perception.  Surprisingly, I have found what may be responsible for triggering out-of-body experiences--the angular gyrus.

The Angular gyrus is a folded convolution in the inferior parietal lobule formed by the union of the posterior ends of the superior and middle temporal gyri.  If that's not good enough a description ([;)]), here is a diagram:

The angular gyrus is higlighted in pink.

Medical studies have shown stimulus of the parietal lobe in the right angular gyrus region causes enough perceptual disburbances make awareness appear out-of-body.  Although modern scientists claim this to be simply vivid hallucinations, they are also the ones claiming NDEs are just a result of a dying brain.  Therefore, I believe the angular gyrus has the potential of actually triggering a true-to-life OBE.

I would continue, but I have to go, so given the information, what is your opinion?  Could the angular gyrus really be the part of the brain initiating the projection trigger?  Therefore, could science one day allow spontaneous OBEs at will?  Or are we just chasing our tails?

I know what it is to astral project, but remote viewing still confuses me.  What is it exactly?  A way of perceiving through one of your subtle bodies while still consciously inside your physical?  Is it easier than learning to 'project?'  How high up the dimensional latter can you actually go while remote viewing?  And most of all, where does one go to learn this heightened level of consciousness?

Thank you for your time.

In light of 12/21/2012, I have been doing research on the many possible scenarios I have heard.  From rising oceans to demon attacks, from polar reversals to dimensional plane collisions.  I am trying to piece it all together and at one point, I felt I was getting close--that is, unitl came upon the Nibiruans.  Are they the ones whom will take over this planet?  Are they the fabled demon attack?  It just doesn't make sense.

And more importantly, where can I find one?  I am gradually learning telekinesis and I need a psiwheel to practice my skills.  Thank you.

(Yes, I know this topic should be in the "General Metaphysics" forum, but it takes days for someone to respond there.)

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Auric vision inquiry
November 07, 2003, 20:51:08
In the "Training" section of this site, there is an excellent tutorial on auric vision, as you all know.  However, I would like to address a training issue that I believe conflicts with regular energy raising/chakra stimulation.

In Robert Bruce's book, Astral Dynamics: A NEW Approach to Out-of-Body Experience, he clearly warns the risks of premature stimulation of the primary chakras.  It was stated that minor chakras should be actively stimulated for several months before 'primary' work is undertaken.  Also stated was that primary chakra work should be carefully balanced, and performed from the base level up.  Yet--despite all these warnings--in the auric vision tutorial, Robert Bruce said that stimulating the Brow Chakra on a regular basis can lead to astral sight/clairvoyant abilities, thus increasing auric vision.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but are you or are you not supposed to rush right in to primary chakra work?  And on top of that, deliberately aim for the Brow Chakra, which if my memory serves me right, can cause physical pain (due to heavy energy sensations) and possibly unbalance the etheric body.  Why doesn't Robert Bruce at least warn people first before posting possible hazardous information?

I've searched Google, Alta Vista, AOL, Ask Jeeves, and many other search engines trying to find a legit representation of the human chakras.  Obviously, no photographs exist, so could someone please tell me where I can find a good illustration of them?  An inllustration that depicts their actual appearance?  This would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

I know the meaning of it - "Through Travail to the Stars" - but what is it from?  An ancient scripture, a board game, a TV show, Robert Bruce, where?
#16
I have emailed Robert Bruce several times over the last week, and yet every time, I receive the same response:  "could not deliver message - system error"

Therefore, I have become a member of the Astral Pulse in hopes of contacting him.

I have read through the Astral Projection Treatise and found it to be rather disjointed - albeit, confusing.  Thus, I have purchased the book "Astral Dynamics:  A NEW Approach to Out-of-Body Experience."  After reading it cover-to-cover, I find many of my questions/concerns to be unanswered.  So, I decided on asking the source of this information.  Robert Bruce, in my opinion, is the best author on Astral related subjects ever.  Which is why I am certain he can easily answer my following inquiries:

1.  The illustration on the back cover of the book (Astral Dynamics) depicts the astral body as being unclothed.  Is this the case during all OBEs?  Or does your attire depend on what you were wearing before the projection?

2.  The term "astral sex" was briefly mentioned in the beginning of the treatise.  Interested with this concept, I searched the rest of the treatise for additional information.  But no avail.  Alternatively, I searched the web and yet, having read numerous articles regarding the subject, I have found no useful results.  Therefore, what exactly is "astral sex?"  The absence of physical organs has made me curious as to how it is performed.

3.  Ever since childhood, I always wanted to "fly" into the TV, and experience the events of the program, first hand.  Of course, I knew it would be impossible, or so I thought.  After reading up on VRP (virtual reality projection), the idea came back to me.   Projecting while a TV is on, is it possible to fly into it and experience the events of the program?  In any case, would this even be considered a VRP?  Or would I be transfered to the site where the program was filmed instead?

4.  In the book, it was stated that any metallic and or gemstone items on the body during a projection attempt would most likely cause that particular body part to become "stuck" during the separation.  Well, does that mean I will have to wait for my dental appliances (braces) to be removed before I can successfully project?  Or is there another way around this unfortunate circumstance?  (On a side note, is someone whom has had dental fillings and or metallic plates implanted within their body incapable of ever projecting within their lifetime?)

Thank you for your time.

By the way, if anyone else feels they have enough experience on the subject, I would greatly appreciate their input as well.  I'd just rather hear it from Robert Bruce himself, as he has been projecting for over 25 years.

Well, I don't know what all this other talk is about but the thing with the dark side of the Earth being just as well lit as the side facing the sun is because astral vision is not limited by an available light source.  In fact, you can turn off all the lights in your house at night, then project and see everything clear as day.  Spectral Dragon, you are merely seeing "black light."  And not the bulbs you'd find at a party, but genuine black light.  Black light exists even in the physical plane, it just can't be seen with the the physical eyes because eyes can only see light that is reflected to them.  In black lights, all the light is absorbed, turning it into a null space called a 'shadow'.  While projecting, however, you can actually see this light clearly, which again, explains why the Earth is lit from all directions.

Hope that helped![:D]

Yup, I received your message and I sent mine back to you to clear some things up.  Let me know if you get it.

Kazbadan, I sent you a PM, let me know if you didn't receive it.

I think you had, what I call, a bioenergetic diplanar lucid manifestation (or BDLM).  In english, the oil caused your mind to project two copies of conscious energy, one extremely dense, the other naturally expanded (in terms of etheric concentration).  The dense copy was physical enough to become a semi-tangable and lucid entity, meanwhile, the invisible real-time double was actually the back-bone supporting the physical manifestation.

Now, what probably happened was you fell asleep, had a wake-induced lucid dream (thats the kind that feels "real"), did the whole thingy at the house, and woke up.  And because you had two subtle bodies lying around doing nothing, they naturally followed what your dream-mind was doing.  Thus, creating the effect that you were actually there at the house.

This theory might be a little farfetched, and I am having hard time explaning it thoroughly (I'm tired and it's late), but I hope it helped.

I don't have visual prove that telekinesis real, rather, I have scientific prove that makes telekinesis physically possible.

Have you ever heard of the "Chaos Theory?"  The Chaos Theory is a theory stating that every action effects everything else.  For example,  waves created by a person swimming in the Atlantic Ocean effects, in a very small way, the tides on the coast of California.  Here's another example: The heat from person A's thermostat in--again, a very small way--heats the house of peron B's home 5 miles away.  A more practical example would be a butterfly flapping its wings in Asia.  The wing's movements would have a very small impact on the weather in the United States.

So, providing the Chaos Theory is accurate, then the electrical discharges in an individuals brain, in a small way, effects everything else their room.  Or, theosophically, an undulation of bioenergy emmitted from the Crown Chakra, in a small way, effects the objects in an individual's room.  Now, to apply this to  telekinesis, we must reconsider the early examples.  With the person swimming in the Atlantic,  the harder he swims, the greater the tidal waves in the Pacific.  Or with the heating issue, the higher heat in house A, the more it will warm house B. And with the butterfly issue, if the butterfly were to flap it's wings more forcefully, the wind displaced would have a greater effect on the weather in the US.

Therefore, the more mental energy (psi) you outpour, the more it will effect the objects in your room.  In other words, all you have to do is focus this heighted energy toward the object you want to move.  By doing this, the energy naturally condences into a single stream, thus, intensifing it.  This is what I believe powers the concept of telekinesis.

I hope that helped matters.

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Chakras
April 13, 2004, 12:50:43
Chakra pressure without energy raising...hmm...sounds odd.  Perhaps you have dormant psychic abilities that are trying to become unmasked as a result of your trance exercises.  Let me ask you this: Have you ever had any strange phenomena occur during your trance phases, such as sudden premonitions or visions?  Or, have you ever noticed any mind chatter that was not your own occur during relaxation and/or trance phases?  If so, they may be signs precogniton and/or telepathic potential.

If you are experiencing none of the above, than I am afraid I cannot help you.  Because otherwise, your Brow and Crown Chakras should not be that active, at least without energy work.

Parlez-vous anglais ?

KEvline, my French is not that great but I believe you are comparing the dangers between the astral planes and the Kundalini, am I right?  Well then, I must inform you that they are two seperate matters entirely.  The astral dimension exists above the physical dimension and is uniformly known as the "Plane of Desire."  If you want a formal definition, here is one taken from Astral Dynamics:

quote:
Astral planes are complex, multilayered, energetically generated dimensional enviroments with variable perception-based aspects.

The Kundalini is, however, a from of energy--the most potent (and dangerous) one, actually.  Also known as "The Serpent Fire," the Kundalini resides in the Root Chakra of the etheric body.  When fully aroused, the Kundalini spirals up the spinal column, passing through each chakra along the way, until it is expelled above the head.  The energy then dissipates into the surroundings, leaving its residual energy throughout the etheric body.

Now, whereas the astral planes are completely harmless, the Kundalini, on the other hand, should be well revered.  It is a very dangerous to arouse the Kundalini prematurely, as it can not only kill an individual, but cause inreversable damage to the astral and mental bodies.  Even worse, if the Kundalini cannot make its path upwards, and instead decends, the negative energetic value can actually corrupt the individuals soul.  The latter could take several incarnaions to fully purify.

Therefore, my concluding remarks are as follows:

Astral = harmless
Kundalini = dangerous

Hope that helped!

PS: If you can only speak French, KEvline, and did not understand a word of this, then please forgive me.  Someone else will have to translate my post.

Thanks Tom, but do you know which of the two, BWGEN or Hemi-Sync, is better for OBEs?
#25
I am confused by your post.  Are you saying that upon leaving your body, you decend into the ground (into the "darkness") until you find yourself in an astral realm?  Or that once you find your way into the astral planes (via an entrance structure) you enter darkness and cannot navigate?  If your problem is the latter, than I am afraid I cannot help you.  But, if it is the first, then all I can say is try to strongly imagine the astral planes entrance structure in your mind's eye (while out of body, of course).  With any luck, you should feel the dimensional shift and appear above the astral planes (it will resemble a checker-board at first).

This is the best description I can give you, as I haven't actually visited the astral planes yet.  Nonetheless, I hope my contributions have helped.
