Dear Robert:

In answer to your questions, lying on my bed, I was sensing my individual toes on my right foot, the sole and instep and began to draw the energy up my leg. I don't remember exactly where I was on the leg, probably around the calf, when my whole body went into one giant spasm. It felt like my whole body left the bed. The best way I can describe it is like where you see in the movies medics trying to revive a patient whose heart beat is not registering on a monitor. They put two handheld electrodes on the patient's chest and enter an electrical charge into the heart region. The focus of the force is at the heart region, but it appears as if the spinal column arches also. I felt that happen in me. For a fraction of a second, the patient's whole body is jolted. That is exactly what my experience was like. I had experienced that before when doing total body relaxation, but they were mild compared to this one. This was like a giant tidal wave compared to a little beach wave. Previous episodes of lesser intensity occured, twice as I remember, but instead of one jolt, there were several small vibrations that immediately followed one another, perhaps a total of three. I have seen people having epileptic seizures, and it wasn't like that at all. I was totally consciousness, observing what happened.

The main force did seem to be centered in the chest area.

I always felt good after these experiences. I never felt exhausted or fatiqued. This was so extreme that I took note of the after effects and I had a burst of energy that broke through or overcame my inertia in respect to decision making, and had no further doubts in respect to what I should do with the rest of my life. I doubt that I could ever return to my limited state of consciousness.

I understand that some negative entities do not want to be detected, so they assume a hiding stance in unsuspected places such as lazziness and inertia. The individual might accept this as part of his character. I have to admit that at times, I have been just downright lazy. So I will accept your comment of an attachment breaking away as well as significant energy blockage being released.

My work with the pendulum indicates that there was significant energy blockage in that area rather than attachment. Probably sufficient enough to warrant the extensive jolt. I can accept the idea of attachment breaking away however.

In this morning's meditation, I sensed my feet and raised the energy again. I anticipated having the same experience again and was a little bit hesitant, but it didn't occur.

That's about the most I can recall of the details.

Did Jesus say, "I am the way" or did he say "I am IS the way"
The name of God is I AM THAT I AM.  The IS could have been easily removed.

Hello:

How much information is available on Kundalini (sp)
energy.  I would like to learn more about that.  Is it related to Sex Magick?

Welcome to Magic! / Mystic vs Occultist
November 16, 2003, 11:37:46
Hello:

Can anyone tell me the difference between a Mystic and an Occultist?  It is my understanding that an Occultist may be a Mystic, but a Mystic may not necessarily be an Occultist.  That is not a good definition, but thought I would slip that in.

Any takers on that?

In my research on the pineal gland, I found an interesting section in Corinne Heline's Occult Anatomy and The Bible, on the endocrine glands, which included the pineal gland.  She wrote:

"It (the pineal gland) secretes an etheric light substance in a manner resembling the pine cone's exudation of resin.  From this we can understand why Egyptian Temple neophytes wore pine cones bound around their heads to signify their degree of spiritual proficiency."

She later wrote:

The pineal gland is similar to the male generative organ, and is situated between four protuberances called the corpora quadi-gemina.  Of these four, the two lower are called the buttocks and the two upper the testes.  From the protuberance or pointer in the pineal gland invisible electric sparks flow downward, magnetically attracted by the powers resident in the femine polarized pituitary body.  These contacts are of a spiritually regenerative nature.  They form the higher counterpart of the physical generative function.  It is indeed a wondrously constructed parallelism between the center of generation at the base of the spine and the center of regeneration at its apex in the head.  At the one level man experiences physical marriage, at the other, the consummation of the transmutative life which results in the spiritual union of the polar opposites within the individual and which is esoterically termed the Mystic Marriage."

In respect to fasting, its original meaning is to abstain from something.  When one engages in a food fast, they would obstain from eating food, whether in solid or liquid form.  To say that one is on a water fast would be saying that one is abstaining from the intake of water.  One could say they are on a food fast and just taking in water. Sometime we hear people say they are on a juice fast.  What they mean is that they are just ingesting juices, not abstaining from juices.

The best water to drink during a fast is either distilled or water from reverse osmosis.  Drinking tap water during a fast would be harmful.  Harmful anytime really.

The first food fast I went on was for 15 days.  The first 3 days was a little difficult, but after that I lost all desire to eat. When the appetite returns, that is when one should eat again, and very selective eating is advisable, such as soft foods that are easily digested and eliminated. If one doesn't eat when the appetite returns, the body will begin to digest muscle. Many people fast on a regular basis to control body weight, since on an extended fast, fat tissue is digested and dissolved.  However, adipose tissue found behind the eyeballs never seems to be involved and is preserved inspite of starvation.  This was observed in those that starved to death in prisoner concentration camps.

An extended fast should always be supervised so that any physical symptoms that arise can be observed and monitored.  Then the person fasting can relax and not be concerned.

I found fasting to be very beneficial.  The energy that is used for digesting food can be utilized for healing.  It is a way of giving the digestive process a rest, which in most people is working all the time.  With many people as soon as the stomach is empty, they interpret the sensation as hunger pangs and begin to fill the void again.  In that case, there would be a psychological hunger rather than a physical hunger.  I doubt that many people living in North America have experienced true hunger, with exception of those in extreme poverty.  Even those are being cared for by social welfare groups.

I would not advise anyone to start out on an extended fast.  Many people cannot even miss one meal without being physically and emotionally disturbed. So it might be advisable to miss a meal with the purpose in mind of slowly extending that to one day each week. Then one could keep extending it, not to exceed 5 days at the most.
A friend of mine, a teacher of nutrition, went on an extended fast for 30 - 40 days, and she died in hospital. Her liver poured out so much toxin that her organs of elimination shut down.  Her skin was yellow and jaundice set in.

After the 15 day fast, I did 5, 3, 1 days with a short interval between them.

Fasting is a wonderful way of developing will power which is very much needed in overcoming addictions of various kinds or mechanical habits which prevent a person from experiencing a full and vibrant life.

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Kundalini
January 20, 2004, 11:47:07
It has been said that the Dark Forces work through the identification or stimulation of the psychic mechanism so that the lower psychic powers become abnormally developed and prematurely assume proportions which are almost uncontrolable.  Through the etheric body the physical body is afflicted in the form of diseases, nervous conditions, lesions and brain afflictions and many other ways in which the individual is rendered helpless and unfitted to cope with daily living and world conditions.

There is no doubt that one may develop psychic powers through different practices, but to what end?
