Also, what is with my surroundings looking as if I'm looking through night vision goggles? (this has happen on many occasions)..

I have many questions but figured I would start with this one first. One day I laid down to take a nap. Upon falling asleep while laying on my back I felt vibrations (it felt like my body was shaking/rocking very fast). I opened my eyes when I suddenly felt a strange sensation in my arms and legs and noticed the ceiling was getting closer. I started to kick my legs and I guess you can say "flail about" until I literally threw myself on to the floor. When I stood up I saw my physical body in the bed. I was totally freaked and excited at the same time. It was the strangest feeling and sound was odd as well. However, as I stood up I began to get a strange eerie feeling. In the corner of the room I saw a hospital bed and curtain. The curtain was pulled just enough to cover the bed (or who was in the bed). I got so scared of what I might see that I tried to wake up or get back into my physical body. Nothing worked. I finally got so scared that I put my hand over the side of my face so that I could not see anything to the side of me and ran past the hospital bed and jumped out of the window, thinking the fall would make me wake up. Sure as $hit as soon as I jumped out of the window I felt a sudden jerk/pulling and was back in my physical body wide awake.
On another occasion when I went to sleep, I left my body but stayed sitting in bed. My surroundings looked as if I were looking through night-vision goggles, kind of glowing. Aside from the night-vision and strange sound, the room looked as it normally does. Then, when I looked to the bottom of the bed I saw a man, he was just sitting there with his back to me. All of a sudden he turned and looked right at me. He was smiling a very kind smile but I got so scared I tried calling to my sister, thinking MAYBE she could hear me and would wake me up (of course I realized I was in a different dimension and she could not hear me). I eventually woke up feeling a little scared and disoriented.
My question is, are there things that may exist in another realm that occupy the same room/space that you can not see in this physical realm? Can we see them and/or make contact when projecting?  Also, why would I feel such an eerie feeling ( I can feel it up and down my spine. The feeling is so strong that it forces me to try anything I can to return/wake up)..

Hello all.  My name is Angela and I am from Albuquerque NM..I was surfing the net for sites and articles on astral projection and came across this forum. I have had quite a few experiences while sleeping (very unexpected), as well as a few odd things while awake... I will post my questions and such in other threads ) I am looking forward to reading everyone's posts and getting feedback on mine )
