Welcome to Dreams! / Mastered Lucid Dreaming???
September 10, 2011, 11:24:40
Idk how I did this but I went to sleep last night at around 2:30 AM. I went and lay down on my left side facing my wall and was falling asleep. As I drifted off to sleep, I had a lucid dream and it didn't last long and I woke up. I then went back to sleep instead I focused on the setting I wanted to dream in and as I did that it slowly started appearing before my eyes, I was amazed. I then woke up from that. I started hearing voices and noises as I was laying in this position but as I did before, I focused on the setting and it slowly appeared and I was in a classroom and a teacher was there and I wanted to punch him in the face but I couldn't so I followed him in this room and he gave me a blunt and I smoked it walking out the room and I woke up. I looked at the clock and it was 2:56 AM. I did it one more time but I heard glass crash and a freaky voice and I just turned around facing my dresser and I went to sleep without an LD but I dreamed though about war.

What exactly happened? I basically created the setting of the dream while I was awake and it was like I was hearing in my dream but the dream didn't appear yet. I also didn't know you could not feel things in dreams it was like when I touched someone I felt vibrations or something. It was cool yet freaky.

EDIT: I remembered an LD from the night, I was in a rural area at dusk with a lot of hills and I looked at my hand it was so deformed and it freaked the crap out of me and I woke up from that. What's up with hands in dreams?

Welcome to Dreams! / Best Lucid Dream ever!!!!
September 04, 2011, 10:01:22
I can't remember if I was lucid before this part (I'm sure I was) but I remember this part. We were in a grocery store it was me, one of my close friends, a girl, and a guy. The guy bought us all Mountain Dew and snacks and then we had the idea of killing zombies I think and we were walking to the right of the grocery store and the place shifted into a like dungeon old building I guess... Hard to explain. But I saw my teacher and then I became lucid or I was the whole time and we kept going until we got in this room. The girl called a spell by locking the door and I think making the zombies come and me and the 2 guys decided not to kill them. So there was a well in the middle of the room and we decided to commit suicide. I fell in first and everything went foggy black and all I see is myself in a chair flying forward at fast speed above a street in like a completely different world and I think I'm on a dragon but I'm just sitting in a chair flying.  As I'm flying forward enjoying these 2D visuals in this crazy world I decided to stop flying and go up the branches of a tree and walk up it (this was amazing). I did that for a while and woke up. I was lucid the whole night but I can't remember everything.

Had a dream I was at school in the cafeteria and I guess someone made me mad and my hand looked different and had a deep circle on my palm (Why do our hands look different in dreams?) and a gun sorta grew from my palm into the circle and landed in my hand. I aimed it at the guy and shot it and nothing came out like it was a toy. The dream changed and I forgot I was in a dream and my memory is blank from there.

It amazes me how I just wanted to kill the guy instead of stopping what I'm doing and take advantage of the dream. Oh well, looking forward for tonight. Hopefully I become lucid.

Well, lately I haven't been trying to OBE because I've been scared to see spirits (never had an OBE) but I decided to man up and try this morning. My TV was on and I was wondering if it will affect my progress (It didn't) and I laid down, closed my eyes, and breathed from my diaphragm. I did this for about 2-3 minutes and I started to not see those swirly things when you usually close your eyes and just see complete blackness (Is this the trance?). By seeing the complete blackness triggered the rapid vibrations in my eyes and I was getting random one second vibrations on my arm and body sorta. I decided to do the rope method and as I was doing this, I kept being distracted by breathing from my diaphragm and the vibrations. They were really distracting me and the vibrations stopped in my eyes but I was still being distracted. It felt like someone was saying "Keep going" in my head so I did but I stopped and then in my head it felt like someone said "Congratulations, you are now out of your body". I moved but it was my physical body. I was ticked -_-. It makes me mad that I was making so much progress weeks before but now I'm back to square 1.  This was also in a 10 minute period and was wondering how long does it take for you to get out usually?

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Dream question
August 17, 2011, 15:08:44
2 days ago I had lucid awareness in my dream. I was walking to our backdoor and it looked like a detective was snooping around the house for a minute on the street and I walked out the door onto the patio and where the steps were was an invisible door that I had to open (knew it was dream after that happened). i went near our gate and started cussing him out saying why he's here and I want him to step over the gate so I can kick his butt lol. So he did and my mom came out wondering what's going on. Then they started to come closer to me and I told both of them to leave me alone so I can lucid dream and they did. The man walked away and disappeared and my mom just stared at me trying to see what I was going to do. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate but nothing happened. I couldn't change anything and woke up.

Now the question. Was it just a coincidence that they stopped when I told them I want to lucid dream and what should I do or focus on to change things.

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Dream Questions
August 12, 2011, 14:50:27
Over the nights I have been noticing I have lucid awareness. I took a nap 20 minutes ago and I had lucid awareness and one night I was changing minor things  but I had to say "zap" to change it.

-How can I get in complete control?
-Is it normal to know you're lucid and then forget it?
-How to stay aware longer and in the dream longer?
-How can I induce an AP by LD?

Thanks.

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid dream.. I think.
August 05, 2011, 13:43:15
Well I've had so many lucid dreams before in my lifetime but I never really controlled them.

Scenario:
Only thing I remember is I was in a room with some people idk but they had a friendly vibe. We had guns in our hands and just laughing and talking until one of the guys' brother (I assume it was his brother) and he shot at us but missed and then I shot at him a few times and he grabbed the gun (wasn't scary at all) and his mom came in and he said they should die or something similar and she agreed and then I just ran out the house while hopping on one foot (idk.....) and then I looked at my surroundings and I said "This is a dream! More clarity, more awareness" and I put one of my arms up like I was blasting off and began to sorta fly and everything became dark.

I think I woke up for a split second because I saw myself staring at the wall while sleeping and then I returned back but wasn't flying but in the neighborhood. There was a guy and a woman and the guy was trying to hit on the girl and surprised her with a kiss. She walked away and I went to her and started kissing her and making out. While I was kissing her another her appeared and I guess took the place of the man (was weird) then *boom*(turned into a wet dream -_-) so I woke up and the end.

So what would you label this experience?

What??? I didn't understand that. I'm assuming you are trying to say can you ask a spirit to see it's true form. Well, I suppose you can but negative spirits would most likely not do that.

Okay, most of you have probably seen my threads here but I just have to share my experience(s)! So this morning I woke up and went to the bathroom and was thinking if I should try to AP. I have a fear of doing AP at night since I think seeing an entity at night would creep me out and it wouldn't creep me out as much in the morning when the sun is out.

I laid back in the bed and went on my iPod and listened to Astral Projection by Kabalah. I said in my mind "I will astral project" and then as I say all the time when APing "Mind awake, body asleep". I started to breathe from my diaphragm like we do when we sleep and I imagined myself sort of flying for a short while then I for some reason imagined myself in third person standing in complete darkness in wall-less empty room. Then as usual, the freaky eyes started to appear and then it happened! Vibrations! My eyes started to twitch then they became out of control like I was forcing myself to blink (Try blinking your eyes as hard as you can right now. That was exactly how it felt). I then did the rope method and I felt my heart beat grow faster and faster but I kept cool. As I continued to climb the invisible rope my head started to vibrate immensely. The vibrations stopped in my eyes but stayed in my head. I asked for help from an aid but deep down they knew I would probably fear them if they pulled me out so they didn't. So basically I was stuck. The vibrations stopped and I got up.

I'm telling you, each time I try to AP I am making more progress than my attempts before. Tips would be great to share also!

Use your mind to move your astral arm/hands. Just focus on moving it using mental powers nothing physical.

Thanks, man! All this time I thought to move you had to physically move and just hope that you used your astral body.

33 views and people can't spare a tip or 2 :\. Thanks, Ryan_. I'll keep doing what I'm doing.

Also how do you know you're out? I tried rolling out my second time today but physically rolled my body. People also say they move their astral body's arms and hands and such. How do you know the difference between your physical arms and astral arms? I also feel pretty accomplished for every time I try to project I always have some type of symptom(s) to getting out from only trying 4 times :).

Okay, this morning I woke up and was on my iPod Touch and decided that I should try to project. I said "I will astral project" and closed my eyes and put the ear phones in my ears and listened to some astral projection music. I always start off by saying "mind awake, body asleep". As usual I see eyes when trying to project but think nothing of it no matter how creepy they look. I was breathing from my diaphragm so my body would think I was sleeping since we don't breath with our chest when sleeping. The music stopped since my iPod was going dead and all I could hear was my fan.

I started to relax and I felt as if my body was surrounded with complete blackness (I think it's called trance when you feel totally relaxed) then once I get into trance relax feeling I started to do the rope method. As doing it my heart started pounding really fast and my jaw started to move up and down and if I put my teeth together they would chatter. I felt a weird and exciting sensation when doing the rope method by putting my hand over my other hand going up. I got too excited and stopped for a while to see if my heart rate would go down but when I tried again nothing worked. Plus my little brother and I share beds and he kept moving his foot on my leg -_-.

I tried again but didn't get into my trance.

Would deeply appreciate tips like how to spread my vibrations since I only get vibrations in my eyes and for the first time jaw today or any other tips. Thanks.

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Astral Dream?

But it's funny you know. I used to always know when I was dreaming and I would take advantage of that by having sex in the dream. I never knew that was what lucid dreaming was. I mean every single time I was dreaming, I just knew. It stopped and I haven't been able to tell now. I get your theory but how are you APing when you are interacting with family members and friends in the dream? I also felt as if seeing those images and faces in the sky in different colors were almost normal for an AP even though I have never AP to my knowledge. Then everything became hazy, foggy, and dark and I woke up but was still dreaming. It was a weird experience. Never had a dream in a dream if that's possible.

Welcome to Dreams! / Astral Dream?
July 28, 2011, 22:36:45
Is it possible to astral project in a dream? I'm not sure what the label to this experience I had last night. I had a dream I was at some stadium for WWE (crazy right lol) then I followed this wrestler outside to the parking lot and then he ran for some reason. I was by myself and then I guess I thought about projecting and then I started floating from the parking lot at will and I got to some city skyline (not the city I'm from or any city I seen) and I saw weird faces and weird images in the sky while floating/flying above the skyline. Then I woke up but little did I know I was still dreaming. I don't know why I didn't become lucid since I was sleeping on the wrong end of my bed and the alarm clock I have was a TV screen showing Harry Potter and the TV was on showing the same Harry Potter video. They were sync as if 2 TV's were playing the same show. Then I woke up in real life. So what was this? I did tell myself I was going to astral project but I don't try when I go to sleep since I have a fear of doing it at night. I have never projected by the way. I've almost twice sot of. So what would you label this experience?

It wasn't vibrating at all. It was a regular computer chair.

Okay, I've been researching Astral Projection for almost 3-4 months and I decided to do it today with an open mind. I was at my school helping out with some friends and we all decided to take a nap break. I wasn't as tired so I was like "Hmm, maybe I should try astral projection". Well, I pulled up two chairs. One to sit in and one to lay my feet and I tried.

So as soon as I closed my eyes I said in my mind "mind awake, body asleep" a few times then I said "I am going to astral project and I will be successful I am confident and (blah blah can't remember)" then I felt as if my eyes were twitching while they were closed (was so weird) and saw weird patterns you usually don't see while closing your eyes, then I felt as if the chair that my feet were laying on was moving side to side really fast even though my complete body was normal. Then it felt as if my heart was pounding out of my chest so fast. Then I felt a coldish sensation in my legs even though I had a rain coat as covers which kept me warm.

I then asked for help from any astral entities but they had to be in the divine of love, light, and something else but I had no help. I heard some type of sound like music but not exact. Then what shocked the hell out of me I remember thinking of something like I have never ever seen that picture. I couldn't make out the features exactly but it had to be that, it just had to.

Anyways, while I was doing this I was thinking of the invisible rope technique and trying to climb out my body but I couldn't. I then just gave up while the sensations appeared to be going away. I also was breathing from my diaphragm (how we breath at night, you know when your stomach fills up with oxygen and you release it through your nose) to sorta trick my body into thinking I was sleep. What are some tips to do so I can be successful tonight?

Edit: Also, is it normal not to remember the experience exactly or do I just have bad memory lol?

Edit2: I just remembered that I when I asked for an astral entity, the patterns you see when your eyes are closed resembled a cat or tiger sort of so I'm not sure what that means.
