From a metaphysical, non-dualistic NEW THOUGHT perspective, what is meant when we say that God is :

1. Light
2. Love
#2
I need help with the following :

(1) What is a "Light Being" and what does it mean to "...learn of your true identity as a Light Being" ?
Is every human being a "Light Being" ?

(2) What is a "soul group" and how do I communicate with it ?
#3
Law of Attraction / Manifestation questions :

It is usually taught in Law of Attraction / Manifestation courses that one should always perform the activity in the present tense or happening at the present moment, and also one should NOT set time limits, quantity, dates,  etc

(1) How do I deal with requests / needs / desires that are ONGOING ? For example, I want something to happen at least once a week every week or several times a month every month ? How do I deal with this since date, time, quantity, etc, should not be specified ?

(2) Another exmaple : There is a difficult case in one week's time (one is ware of the exact date). How do I deal with this , since I should NOT specify date and time ?

Thanks !

But we might never know if these are "contents" of Mayan "secrets" at all, as they might be made up by the governments 'spin docs'- well, at least we won't before 21 Dec 12.

I'm asking myself: if the Mayans know this stuff from their mythology or whatever, why would a Mexican government now guard these secrets? They are NOT the Mayans. Or why would they determine if and when to publish it? And why only now, doesn't this (planned) moment of publishing makes it even more suspicious now?

Btw, I 've heard and read quite often that many of the supposed descendants (currently estimated at 7 million scattered across Meso-America) as well as scholars and Maya experts ("Mayanists") said that there is nothing special (means: no known related prophesy) about this date (which is just the end of a calendar cycle - not more).

"Indeed, current debate about 21 December 2012 results from contemporary confusion from projections, assumptions, and
misunderstanding about the science and beliefs of several ancient cultures of the Americas."

And anyway, as CFTraveler said, the Mayan Elders have kind of already "spilled the beans", sort-to-speak.  There are no "secrets" to be told.

Quote from: CFTraveler on August 24, 2011, 17:17:46
This is correct- the connection to 'endtimes' had to do with the person who wrote about them, a Mayan man who lived on a monastery and schooled in eschatologic prediction.  He lived with Christian monks and had dreams about the Apocalypse.  So it's not that two different cultures had the same belief, it's that one culture imposed it's belief system on the other and then told everyone about it.

PART    1 :

In the first place, experts, researchers , etc, are neither infallible nor impeccable.

Consider the following :

Corruption of Science: Fraud and Errors in Scientific Studies Skyrocket

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/233364-Corruption-of-Science-Fraud-and-Errors-in-Scientific-Studies-Skyrocket

PART   2 :

The Straw Man Fallacy :

A straw man is a component of an argument and is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position. To "attack a straw man" is to create the illusion of having refuted a proposition by replacing it with a superficially similar yet unequivalent proposition (the "straw man"), and refuting it, without ever having actually refuted the original position

Stage 1 :

The Mayans believed that the end of one great cycle of  13 Baktun (5125.26 years) is marked with catastrophes/cataclysms, and a NEW great cycle starts after that. The world does NOT end, and it continues into a new cycle. Before the joy of motherhood is the pain of childbirth.

Don Alejandro ("Wondering  Wolf") said (EXTRACTS) :

Our books are the Mayan Codices. For us, this is our writing. The hand is a book. We have 5000 codices. We study these.

The Harmonic Convergence began the Twelve Baktun, Thirteen Bahaou and will end in 2012 or 2013 by your calendar. This will end the fourth period of the sun by our calendar. There will be huge problems. Catastrophes and cataclysms will befall us. So I have been asked to speak to you and all over the world, of these prophesies and other elders, too.

Mayan astrologers know a lot but do not say everything.

During 2012-2013 there will be a great comet and a red comet. We are all creatures of the earth, but in space there are others. Comets might fall elsewhere.

EXTRACTED from :

http://awakening-minds.com/2011/08/mayan-elder-speaks-of-prophecy/

Stage 2 :

Christians project their beliefs onto such things and talk about "the end of the world" in relation to their beliefs of the Apocalypse.

Stage 3 :

Straw Man Fallacy : The belief in ANY form of catastrophe / cataclysm in relation to the end of one great cycle of the Mayan calender is condemned as if it MUST  be a foreign Christian Apocalyptic element introduced into the Mayan beliefs about the end of a cycle.

ADDITIONALLY, the 2 extremes :

On one hand : there are GULLIBLE pople who will totally believe in any nonsense proposed, claimed, etc.

on the other hand : the SKEPTICS who have been projecting their biases and prejudices that there CANNOT be any cataclysm/catastrophy in relation to 2012 , and are thereby are no better than their gullible opponents ?

:-o

Good. The next thing is to determine if the CONTENTS of the Mayan 2012 secrets are true, genuine, false, etc.

Even something that is true or genuine can be used for commercial reasons, without being less true or genuine in the process.

#6

The only thing left for those who are really interested is to wait and examine what will be revealed.

If it is true that commercial reasons are the motivation, they are not sufficient  reasons  to label something as false, as something true or genuine may still be used to make money and induce tourism.

Smells fishy, you know why? It's in the text:

"...Mexico prepares to launch the far-reaching (and tourism-inducing) 2012 Mayan World Program."

Btw, I would NEVER trust any goverment announcement / 'disclosure' anyhow. And this ('tourism-inducing') thing makes it even less plausible to me.

"Tourism-inducing" may be the editor's or writer's comment, and left to be proven.

I'm not sure what you mean by this- what is confirmation of something?  The fact that everyone else is also saying it?
Mind you, the Reuters article actually speaks of what the son of a  Puerto Rican actor is saying- being the son of a well- known actor is not really a valid representative of the Mexican Government.  Even if he's friends with someone in it.
Unless I missed something from the article....

The government made a mistake of agreeing to disclose the secrets to him ?

Thanks to all for their effort.

Kailaurius, I appreciate and respect your comments on the nature of predictions and prophecies.

What you have said also applies to all other posts on all posts on this entire forum containing predcitions and prophecies (I hope).

However, I just wanted the  details and information on the matter, never mind if they happen to be false.

You realize you're only fueling more fear, right?

http://www.ourultimatereality.com/newsletters/TruthAbout2012.pdf
From: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_2012_and_the_transition_of_the_ages/truth_about_2012-t34335.0.html

Adrian put that together... and it's very well done.  I'm not saying I fully believe anything anyone has to say about it, including Adrian, HOWEVER, he debunks a lot of what is in the "article" you posted.  The article you posted only serves to further fuel the fear in the world surrounding this fake date.

Here's a really good quote from the above PDF:
We humans are our own worst enemy... the problem is not enough people realize it yet.  :/

I merely posted a link to a report by REUTERS.

I did not think that a report by REUTERS can also be equal to trash posted on a blog by a nut case, and also fuel more fear.

Anyway, I have read Adrian's article on 2012 at least 5 times already over the last 3 weeks.

As for "superstition", anything can be termed a superstition, depending on one's intention or perspective.

A Christian may condemn Hinduism of superstition, but an atheist would think Christianity is superstitious in its belief in a creator god.

By the way, I would like to very respectfully point out that  having a whole section on 2012 on this forum has been generating fear ever since it appeared, and its continued existence would generate fear constantly.

That's just my opinion here, while also respecting yours, too.

I understand that there is supposed to be period of 72 hours of darkness on or near September 26, 2011 or October 28, 2011.

Can someone please let me know if this is supposed to affect the whole earth, or just a part of it. If so, which part, and what will happen to the rest of the earth ?

Also, what are the things to do / not to do ?

THANK YOU !

Some LOA  teachers (Shakti Gawain, etc) recommend that we visualize  correctly as if we already have possess whatever we want  DAILY  until we get what we actually want.

Others (Bob Doyle, etc) recommend we visualize correctly as if we already possess it, and then to STOP IT / LET GO , as repetition means we are indirectly saying we have not received a response, and this is  a form of resistance.

Which is correct ?

The Bible has been quoted for all sorts of reasons down the centuries, often by contradictory sects, cults, etc.

As such, it can also be quoted to support the Law of Attraction.

Shakespeare summarised it thus : "The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose" (Antonio, Merchant of Venice, Act 1, Scene 3)

This being the case, it is essential to consider the notion of "God" , as it is sometimes mentioned in the teachings of the Law of Attraction.

What is common among all Law of Attraction teachings is that our minds create our lives and world.

Quantum physics is referred to often in Law of Attraction teachings. Quantum physics teaches that everything we perceive with our five senses is actually made up of energy and vibration, and interpreted by our minds as solid, existing, etc .

As such, the teachings of the Law of Attraction are in fact closer (if  not the same as) Hinduism and Buddhism.

This totally contradicts the Abrahamic Creator God according to the conventional teachings of the main monotheistic religions, in which the Abrahamic Creator God is the creator of the world and is distinct and never a part of his creation, and this includes being distinct from human beings and their minds.

A colleague of mine at work today revealed to me that he culd not clear a big debt.

How could he use creative visualization to get that solved fully and swiftly ?

# 2

Some of my father's clients owe him money for the services he rendered to them.

How could I used creative visualization to help him get all of his money back, fully and swiftly ?

What do you mean by visualizing it? You can run through scenarios in your head already right?

Do you want to turn it into NVC? Like a statement of what you want as a message to your guide/higher self/subconscious/whatever.

One way you could do it:

Start with visualizing the words "This is a message", "Research project", just so there can be no mistake. When you finish the visualization end with "End of message". It lets who/whatever your talking to know this isnt just random daydreaming.

Visualize a massive crowd of people from above. Randomly reach down and pull one out and place them infront of you in an office. Go through this interview in real time and when the criteria have been reached overlay a big green tick on the scene.

Now visualize a calendar with squares for each week. Pull the person out of your interview and place him in the first square where he will be replaced by a number 1.

Now back to the crowd. Grab another person. Into the office. High speed the interview, the details dont need to be there. At the end place a big tick over it and put them in the first square of the calender which will now show the number 2.

Now go into superfast mode. Just grab, office, tick, calender. Up to 10. Now place a big green tick over the box with 10 in it.

I'd then just fill in the weeks directly with 10 and ticks. Basically just imagine flicking through a calender full of tens and green ticks.

Thats just the first idea that came to mind. You can think of much better ways if you give it some thought.

Blis,

How do I visualize those persons I will be picking individually  ? Should I just visualise the silhouette of a human figure (the image of a person consisting of the  outline and a featureless interior ) to represent every correct person to pick ?

Can words replace images totally in creative visualization or will that be something  else ?

Welcome to Magic! / advice for easy candle magic
August 03, 2011, 16:25:38

Could someone please share a very easy yet effective candle magic ritual for any purpose ?

It should NOT involve colours, the observance of times and dates, oils, etc.

For example, it could involve only a white candle of any material and size,  and which could be performed any day any time, for any purpose. The rest involves only chants and/or  visualizations, etc.

Thank you.

It is easy for me to visualize a red cup of a certain shape and size.

BUT I am not sure how I could visualise this (for example) :

I am doing a research project. I need to interview 10 different persons every week for one year.  I must be able to get those 10 different persons who meet certain criteria at random, from the public. Every interview must be successful, too, according  to certain criteria.

How do I visualize that ?

Thank you.

Any suggestion as to how I can use the Law of Attraction / Creative Visualization to protect / assist my family during this dangerous period related to "December 21, 2012" ? Thanks !

Law of Attraction / Creative Visualization

(1)   Is it possible to use the  Law of Attraction / Creative Visualization for another person for any purpose and NOT just for healing  ? What are the principles involved ?

(2)   In Law of Attraction / Creative Visualization, the imagination is used using mental images , the clearer the better. How does one visualize something that is abstract ? For instance, how does visualize the notion that I want a wide variety of something repeatedly over a long period of time ? Can I simply state so in  my own words verbally or mentally, visualize the words appearing with the images when visualizing, simply  affirm so even without words , etc  ?

Would somebody please advise.

Thank you !
