Yes I know this will bore the experienced OBEr but I want to share it with you.  It was completely accidental, but it lets me know that at least it is possible for me, and the sensations that I should be experience near OBE.

I was having a dream, a rather intense nightmare, that was quickly becoming very bad.  I disliked the dream enough to wake up, and immediately remembered the dream, grabbed my notepad, and wrote "Burglar in kitchen.  Not there.  Behind me.  Knife.  Extreme pain."  Made firm intention *not* to continue that dream, and settled back into sleep not preping for anything special in particular.  Total time awake was about 20-30 secs.

Immediately slipping back towards sleep I experienced a very weird sensation.  I suddenly had the strong tingle of deep meditation, and then it progressed to a light chest pressure and some difficulty in breathing, like I usually get (sometimes) after a *long* time meditating.  That vanished, along with both the sensation of breathing and the sensation of a heartbeat (not a heart attack), a complete disassociation with the body.  I started to hear a deep tone between my ears (first time for sound), not so much a sound as a mid-bass vibration. I thought "Holy $#^*!! OBE?!? Can't be. Let's see".  I was absolutely clear in my mind, and started my exit techniques, starting with moving my mind 2 feet in front of my head, as a glowing ball of light, and mentally commanded myself to EXIT, and kept the thought as the only thought.  Suddenly I felt a strong wave a strangeness, and somehow felt I was out of my body, and that I was flying.  I've experienced light floating, and drifting, and moving.  This is the first time that I've felt that I was flying at 70 mph.  I could feel the strong wind.  I let this go on for about 5 seconds, but strangely felt, despite the apparent speed, that I wasn't far from my body.  I tried to command astral sight, but nothing happened.  I tried to alter movement, to be able to sense walls, doors, or any sensation other than movement.  Nothing happened.  After trying intensely for about 10 seconds, the entire thing broke, I could feel it, and everything was back to normal.  I was able to open my eyes, and wrote it down.

I'm not claiming this is a full OBE.  The are a couple of problems with it.  I didn't experience seperation, nor reintergration sensations.  I shouldn't have been able to stay that close to my real body.  I can't understand how or why I fell into such a state to close after falling asleep (usually at that time in the morning/state I can't even get to the tiniest tingle).  I hadn't done any energy raising exercises, so I shouldn't have had anywhere near enough energy to get that close or sensations that intense.  It was one of the nights that I give myself off from a strong OBE attempt as I had a hard day yesterday and needed my sleep, so I shouldn't have been tuned to an OBE.  And lastly I wasn't able to follow my well-thought out first OBE script (go to main room, touch tv, return).

I'm confident that it was a near OBE, despite being uncontrolled.  I'm not looking for validation, I just wanted to share it with you.  It lets me know that OBE is *possible* for me, that I'm not barred from the ability by higher powers, that it is safe, and that I'm somehow on the right track.

If there is a lesson here, it's that if you try hard enough, long enough, despite frustration, boredom, discouragement at the loss of time and sleep, and lack of any progress feedback or self-grading system, then you will start to see results.

Now to do it better, intentionally, controlled, when I choose, and longer.

My apologies for those that this bored.

Reading through a lot of the recent posts, especially posts that deal with *when* you should start trying to exit, something that always gets mentioned is having waking paralysis.  The question is that RB states quite clearly (p87)
"Most paralysis edisodes, in my opinion, happen *after* the projection exit has occurred.  Full waking paralysis cannot occur before the projection exit." (RB-AD)

and p90
"I have experienced waking-paralysis episodes literally hundreds of times, but have never managed to convert one into an OBE." (RB-AD)

This is the only book I own (so far), so I'm unable to cross reference for other experts opinions on this.  Nor have I had any AP/OBE myself so I can't work off of experience.  Is sleep paralysis something to be worked towards or avoided?  Or is the effect secondary to the mental (astral/etheric) disassociation (if that is the case, how would anyone notice paralysis, as it's directly counter to disassociation)?  Or is it a personal thing, and for RB it simply doesn't work, but for others it could?

Thanks

This question just occured to me as I'm about to go to bed for the night and as usual will try to fall into a OBE state.  This will be my fourth attempt for the day, each lasting about an hour.  The practice is helping, and I do feel like I'm getting closer, but it makes me wonder whether my attempt count indicates I'm obsessed, frustrated, or dedicated.  I would be interested in knowing how many times other people make their attempts (esp on weekends when you don't have to go into work), and how many did they make before you achieved an exit.

I was working on attaining my first (remembered) OBE, and had gone through the relaxation exercises, quieted the mind, and kept very calm.  I was doing well, lost the sensation of breathing, and felt a very powerful tingle throughout body, especially on forehead, no problem, I have had that several times.  I got a little further and the vibrations that I had felt increased dramatically, like I was in a trunk of a car doing 20 mph down a rocky road.  The vibrations seemed most powerful in the chest area.  This was startling enough that it broke most of my concentration, and I was back to feeling limited sensations from my body.  However the heavy vibrations continued, and while I was thinking about it I determined that my heartbeat (I can usually feel it in my throat when in light trance and laying down) was odd.  Instead of regular THUD-thud THUD-thud, I could only feel *THUD*-*THUD* *THUD*.  That broke me completely out of the light trance to check the heartbeat.  It stayed odd for about three seconds before seeming to drop into the regular rhythm.

I can't figure out if my heart was going slightly erratic from the excitement, or whether it was a symptom of OBE generation.  I felt no odd effects after getting up, no pains, no shortness of breath, no sweating, no arm pains, so whatever it was it wasn't a full fledged heart problem.

Has anyone experienced very strange heart sensations like this?

I already keep a dream journal, both on paper beside bed, and later transcribed and elaborated on computer.  My watch is set to hourly chime, and I do reality checks.  I make sure that my thoughts before I go to sleep is 'REMEMBER!!'.  I'm careful when I wake to work on recalling the dream.  I've set my alarm clock to buzz early, with little improvement. I've been doing this for over a month, with little result.  My recall has gone from about a recalled dream a week, to about 1 or 2 a night, which is poor performance.

The dreams that I do remember are usually the ones that immediately preceeded me waking up, and usually I have the impression that what I'm recalling is only the last part of the dream.  I can fuzzily recall at one point knowing what had happened, and that I had understood the dream while I was dreaming, but the dreams are still fragmentary.  Some nights I wake up (by alarm clock) and recall nothing, no fragments and no impressions.

I would like to know how long does it take to improve dream recall and dream vividness?  Is there something that I should be doing that I'm not?

Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a puzzler.  Recently whenever I lay down to start meditating, I immediatly get some light vibrations.  When this occurs I'm not fully relaxed, I'm not mind awake/body asleep, and I'm not feeling the tingle.  I gave it a couple of days rest, tried it again, and the same occurs.  Tried sitting instead of laying down, same.

When I say vibrations, it feels as if my entire body is laying or sitting on a magic carpet which is experiencing mild turbulence.  Or it could be described as being in the back of a speedboat bouncing thru the water.

The problem is that the sensation is very distracting.  Its rather hard to put the body asleep when it feels like its being buffeted.  The usual way I get to the vibrations is relax, get the light tingle, light drifting, get the mental pulse when everything suddenly goes weird (deep trance?), and *then* I sometimes get the vibrations.  Vibrations at that point I would welcome.  At the beginning it makes no sense.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm wondering whether the concept of bad karma can affect AP/OBE training?  The reason I ask is that since I started I've come much closer to lucid dreaming, and my dream recall is increasing to 3-5 a night (it needs to be 10).  The dreams indicate that I still feel guilty and regret over mistakes in my past.  I'm not talking about earth-shattering crimes here (or even petty ones), just the little acts that added up.  In addition many people describe sleep paralysis as being joyful, pleasant, and uplifting.  Sleep paralysis for me has always been terrifying, pursued, evil presence, and entirely negative.  I'm wondering if that the higher powers are blocking me from AP and giving me a sign saying 'No Homers allowed'. (You'd have to have seen the correct episode of 'The Simpson's' to understand the reference, but I think you get the point)

I've been wanting the Novadreamer for a long long time, and never could afford it.  According to this webpage (the only site that sells it), it costs £299.00 / $493.36 (see http://www.lifetools.com/acatalog/Awaken_In_Your_Dreams_with_Lucid_Dreaming.html#a34).

I've found this webpage (http://brindefalk.solarbotics.net) that has a DIY project to construct a Novadreamer-like device.  The parts cost about $50-60, and requires a basic knowledge of electronic assembly (and a multimeter).

Technically its for LD training, but it would be very useful in OBE training.

Just a FYI.  I make no profit from it one way or another (especially as it is Do-It-Yourself).

Last night I was lying in bed working on relaxing and (energy collection?).  I had a very nice steady tingle going, not a light tingle but more of a current.  I was staying rather focused with the breath count and it was the only thing running thru the mind, not any worries or thoughts.  Everything suddenly changed as I may have experienced some kind of sleep paralysis.

I've done self-hypnosis many years, and one of the simple tests is to freeze a finger (or arm).  Simple.  The muscles become so rigid and tense that the finger can't bend.  THIS was different.  My entire body felt, muffled.  My fingers were extremely relaxed and frozen.  I tried to shift my wrist slightly and couldn't.  I didn't want to try to force the wrist to move as it would've disturbed my concentration.  I didn't worry about it.  I simply continued the counting, unconcerned.

Here's where it gets interesting.  About five minutes into this state a big tingle wave passes over me, and I've got the sensation of extreme disassociation.  I've got a strong feeling of floating and drifting.  There is a persistent feeling as if my body is tilting somewhat to the right side, and is always sliding.  It was like going down a water slide sideways, slowly.

I stay calm and focused.  I try some exiting techniques.  I try to lift my left arm 'out'.  I feel the darndest sensation as if it does.  I have more perception of where the mental arm is than where the arm actually lies on the bed.  Right arm, ditto, no problem. Both mental arms feel bigger than the arms actually are.  However I can't see them, no sight (book says that I should).  Try the cord technique, lifting produces strong tingle, nothing.  I move the mental pull-out cord to be parellel with body.  Nothing.  I try the ski method (I don't like RB water boat, I prefer a 3000m ski jump).  It produced a strong sailing sensation but no exit, and no sight.  Still paralyzed.

I decided that I needed to relax more, build up the wave, and shortly thereafter fell asleep.

What did I do wrong?  I'm confident that I was 100% relaxed.  I just can't figure out where I should proceed to if I reach this point again.

Any advice would by appreciated.

To make a long story short, I was well into a trance, maybe a deep trance (didn't want to move muscle to find out if I had sleep paralysis, but everything else seemed in order).  I was feeling was might be vibrations in lower arms and legs, very curious.  Phone call came, and as I'm on call, I have to answer (it was moderately important).  After this obviously concentration is over and everything should return to normal, right?

Not this time.  My lower arm still occasionally feels vibration, 15 minutes later.  By vibration I mean the lower arm feels like it is in a car that has thrown a piston, and the piston just locked.  This is not a usual feeling for me.

My understanding of vibration is that my vibrations were way too low to be any use.  It was nowhere near a cargo plane flying close over the house, nor did my spine feel odd.  I was having some really strange sensations with my hand though.

I'm just curious whether the local effects of vibrations can carry over to the waking state?

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Musings on forum chaos
November 09, 2003, 00:04:07
I'm a new member and I've been catching up with the discussions that have been going on.  Most worrisome is that there seems to be a high level of annoyance with the DBZ/ki crowd resulting in some people quitting the forum.  In the messages that I have been able to find in the last two weeks, this place is actually doing pretty good.  There is significant useful traffic of info, and people are civil.

I'm somewhat sure that everyone here has frequented a major forum before this.  I've probably visited hundreds, and frequented dozens.  Every one of the forums had their own special brand of net-loony(*1, below), without exception.  Many had several *camps* of net-loonies who would endlessly debate their brand of looniness with each other.  The very worst case resulted in a three way lawsuit (for defamation and fraud) in a usenet forum about blackjack (no I wasn't involved).

The trick to a forum surviving is to handle the abusers correctly.  If they break the rules, ban them (and if they alias, kill the ip).  If they want to discuss how astral projection applies to DBZ/Ki (huh?) then create a new forum division for them that the rest of us can ignore.  If the problem persists figure out a way to have a user-level forum filter, with kill-words (btw I'm a programmer so yes, I know how difficult this can be). If the problem still persists do what slashdot.org does (IMO the best run forum), implement a user-to-user level moderation capability.  As a last resort, warn them about their inappropriate topic, and then kill the future threads.  I hate censorship in theory, but sometimes it does get the point across.

Hoping that the net-abusers will grow up, think before they speak, search before they ask, consider their audience, and to be polite is a lost cause.  They enjoy chaos, and consider flamewars fun.  For other members (the majority) to survive, you must either tolerate and completely ignore them, or eliminate them.  Fortunately the problem here isn't bad.

Just some musings of mine, take them or leave them.  I'm off to get some sleep.

BTW, an high post count for trivial postings is its own punishment.  ;)

===================
*1)
net-loony - odious poster in a usenet forum who is grossly off-topic and ignores common sense when posting.  Using l33t-speak in a teacher-centric forum would be loony.  Net loonies are considered to be more dangerous than the common (l)user, and marginally smarter than the net-munchkin, but hasn't yet degenerated to the evil troll, spoofer, or clone, yet.  They are considered to be immune to all warnings and disparaging comments.  Approach with caution.  There is no bag-limit when hunting loonies.

From people who have succeeded what is the expected frequecy of successful AP/OBE? I would appreciate the info.

Thanks

I've been working on RB Astral Dynamics workbook for 9 days.  I need some advice on a problematic experience recently.

My exercises have been going well, and I entered a light trance quite easily, and felt the familiar tingling.  I was for the first time able to deepen it significantly (at least that was what it felt like), and the light tingle became a very strong rush, with pressure on the small of the back (yes I know that isn't the right place), and more worrisome, a odd feeling above the left eye.  I remained relatively calm, tried to analyze the sensation, take mental inventory.  The sensation was most unpleasant, and I broke the concentration.

I don't believe this was close to an OOB, merely deep trance.  Has anyone else here experienced bad feelings, feelings of poor health during the exercises?  (btw, I'm reasonably healthy)

As a side note, I have started to wake up in the morning several times with sleep paralysis (not wholly unexpected).  Every time it occurs with a feeling of deep dread, impending death.  How did other people avoid this sensation?

Well, your page isn't commercial, so I doubt you are interested in paying money for google/yahoo/msn page rankings.  In your case, I'd find a set of pages which are closely related to yours and set up a webring system, or join one if such a category already exists.  If you are really serious, get a lot more content on your main page, get more html keywords, and make sure other websites start linking to your webpage.  The more external links to your page, the more weight google will give your keywords in its page rankings.  If you you are very dedicated, maintain your web site every day by adding new content, keeping your members happy, and by being either very interesting or very informative.  There have been quite a few blogs that have had high traffic through this route (very few were able to translate high traffic into member support for bandwidth costs).

Just some random thoughts.

It's still here, right where it used to be.  While I haven't been here long enough to notice some of the changes that you've mentioned, I have found this site very useful.  Look at it this way, suppose there was a true gem of knowledge buried somewhere in here.  How many junk posts would you be willing to go though to find it?  2?  10?  For me, I'd go through a 100, if it meant finding something useful.

I will admit that some of the various thread could be annoying, but why are you letting it bother you?  Why are you even listening to the thread?  If you love a good debate/argument/Jerry-Springer-shoutdown, then by all means contributes to the threads, otherwise leave it well enough alone, like a rabid dog in your neighbors fenced-in yard.

Lastly, I don't know why it should bother you that much regardless of the thread contents.  My viewpoint is that we of this forum should be practicing more than talking.  I'm usually very quiet for this reason, as no matter what anyone tells me here, I'm on my own when it comes to astral projection.  While advice can make projection *easier*, in the end what people here achieve is up to themselves.

Just my two cents...

I have a bachelor of science degree in both chemical engineering and computer science (I was minoring in comp sci, until it became easier to dual major).  If my major was anything other than engineering, I would have had a minor in math also (engineers have to take 4 extra math courses to get the minor otherwise all engineers would be getting math minors) The ironic thing is that I've done enough electronic work that I might just qualify for a electrical engineering degree.  However, raw knowledge and powerful technical degrees is somewhat like having a good engine in your car.  It's not the HP of your engine, it's how you use it.  It's an old old joke, but sadly true.

Here's a hint:  I've never qualified for Mensa.

Ah I see.

Lost Motorist:  Hey, I'm on my way to town and seem to be lost.  Do you know the way?
Acid:  Yes I do, and I've made my own map.
Lost Motorist:  Great, how do I get there?
Acid:  Sorry, my directions my not be effective for you.
Lost Motorist:  I'm already lost.  I can't get more lost.  You can't point me in the right direction?
Acid:  Sorry, no.  You'll understand when you are as wise and unlost as I am.
Lost Motorist:  Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't you base your map on other people's map?
Acid:  Yep.  But my map is special and super secret.
Lost Motorist:  Can you give me ANY help?
Acid:  Certainly.  You tell me how you would get to town, and I'll add a few suggestions at the end of it.
Lost Motorist:  Riiight.  I guess I'll head east then.
Acid:  Why east?
Lost Motorist:  Going east I have a 1 in 4 chance of going in the right direction.  You are a 0 in 4 chance, and are wasting my time.

I haven't fully OBEd yet either so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I don't experience numbness as such so I can't give you advice there.  I do experience *disappearance* of sensation.  First my fingers no longer seem to lying on the arm of the chair but seem to be somehow floating.  Then eventually the hand.  Then I can't feel either unless I concentrate on them.  The longest/last is the elbows for some reason, the lungs/breathing, and the heart/pulse.

The brow sensations I've gotten, and usually as a steady pressure.  I usually take it as a primary chakra powering up, and not any indication of being close to OBE.  It indicates that I'm doing good in the brow area.  I generally don't over-concentrate or over-analyze the chakras, I just let them come.

Bouncing up and down, that I've definately felt, its just light vibrations.  For me it feels like it's something between being in the back of a speedboat, to moderate vibration, which is being in the trunk of a car going 20 mph down a rocky dirt road.  There are heavy vibrations that are a very good indication, that supposedly feel like being on top of a washing machine out of balance, or a cargo plane going low over your house, or a magnitude 6 - 6.5 earthquake.

The advice that I've gotten before, and try to follow, is to not think about it, not worry about it, don't try to analyze it.  All of that is thinking too much, and worse still, focuses your mind on your body.  You need your mind to *forget* the body.  If you haven't already, read all the accounts of people who achieved OBE, and their explanation of how they did it (they are sticky topics at the top).  One of the best, and most useful, has the person experiencing the sensations, and her mental attitude was "Ho hum."  Not boredom, just total unconcerness of the fact, and her focus was maintained.

As to the strange and fuzzy feeling when you break the session, that's just normal after your body has been inactive for a long time.  The goal in meditation is to quiet the brain to a theta state.  When you wake up, you bounce all the way back up to alpha or beta.  No wonder you feel dizzy.  I also get that feeling after a short catnap, getting off airplanes, after very long meetings (if there is no breaks), and sometimes after doing long driving sessions on the interstate.  Dizzy is normal, just your body changing its mental gears.

Hope this helps.

No, the most dangerous virus is apathy.

As to the article in question, it appears to be a scare newsrelease targeted towards newbies in hope that they will adopt a non-Microsoft product, like Lindows and OpenOffice.  MSOffice 2003 may have all those capabilities but can MS get to my computer thru two firewalls (hardware and software) that I carefully manage?  I couldn't care less about MS, and doubt that they even want to hack into my system.  Now the teenage 133t cracker somewhere *might* want to, and then wouldn't care about my non-MS products that I own (gasp!! Adobe!!) but would be interested in, say, my Quickbooks Accounting information, my live programming projects that I've got source code to, or the cracker is clever, some of my more valuable documentation.

I've got a image of another newsrelease that is titled (in all seriousness) "Hackers can turn your computer into a BOMB and blow your family to smithereens!".  If you want it I can send it to you.

Hmmm... where to start...

Fear of the unknown is the biggest problem
Incomplete relaxation
Not enough knowledge
Not enough raised energy
Random muscle twitches during meditation, including swallowing
Frustration
and lastly, and most frustrating, falling asleep instead

Don't take this the wrong way.  I know what my problems are, and what needs to be done if I want to truly OBE.  But this is what I believe is currently stopping me.

I'm glad this topic has been bumped back up again.  I am a gross newbie on this, and so I guess I'm as guilty as any in making shallow and uninteresting posts.  As a newbie, and like most newbies, I do use the search feature to find if the question has been asked before, and use restraint when asking a question or responding to a question with what knowledge I have.  I felt then, when the message was first posted, and now that goku was being elitest and exclusionary.

Every discipline, any field of endeavor, has a hierarchy of personal progression shaped like a pyramid.  There are a very few masters at the top, a fair number of very talented practioners, and hordes of the untrained (I count myself at this level).  If, for some strange reason, the upper levels kill the lower levels, then there will be fewer talented or masters in the future, and the pyramid will shrink and die.  This should be easy enough to understand.  To *some* degree the upper levels has a *limited* responsibility to instruct the lower ranks to help them progress.  The criteria on who they teach, what knowledge they dispense or how often is up to them.  This is one of the reasons that vast effort is spent to try to educate children.  The worst kind of teacher is one that will stand up and say 'That is a stupid question!', or 'The answer to that is obvious!'.

The other side of the coin of the teachers responsibility is the students responsibility.  While here I listen more than I speak.  I practice before I ask.  I read all that I can, here and at other websites.  I will see what works, and go with whatever seems to give me the best results.  I won't complain at lack of progress.  And I won't bother the teachers with pointless questions that I can already find the answers to.  In the end, whether or not I can OBE/AP will be up to me.

This is true even in the professional world.  Every job I've been in I've had to pass knowledge and instruction to various workers, often several times to individual workers, and occasionally often to the not-so-bright ones.  I don't squelch them, don't belittle them, and I don't point out that the question they just asked is answered quite clearly in the employee handbook, or is printed in a nice diagram hanging on the wall in big red letters.  If I did, they could complain, and I could be fired.  Today's business is about cooperation and integration.  Microsoft has a employee mentor program.  Sun Microsystems uses a open-question system (employees can ask why certain things are done they way they are).  Saturn (GM) uses a employee feedback and bottom-up (employees fill out managers review cards) feedback.  My point is that your viewpoint doesn't even apply to a business model of instruction or information handling.

I have found interesting tidbits in unlikely posts.  To cull the posts based on only what interest the master's of OBE would severely limit what I can learn.  For me, I'm not as interested in what you do after you achieve OBE, but *HOW* you got there.  As such, I value some of the posts that you hate.  I'm interested in how people progress.  If they got closer, I will listen and consider it.  If they found a nice binaural pattern that they love, I'll make note of it and see if it helps me.  If they want to talk of the war of 2012, I'll ignore it, and determine that I'll make sure I OBE before then.  That is the nature of a forum, anything can be discussed, and the posts, however unworthy, will be of interest to someone, but not necessarily to you.

I'm sorry that this is long, but I was able to resist this thread the first time it came around, but had to post my (rant?) now.

Do you even have the tools? SoftIce? WDasm? A Hex Editor? A Resource viewer? A windows registry monitor? IDAPro? Unpackers? Do you have any of them? Most people who ask for cracks don't even do the basics before yelling for a patch, starting days after the software is released which is long before I will take an interest. Why should I take an interest in doing your cracking and patching when you don't care enough about it to even do a little work on it? If you have started, why are you asking here instead of a hacking forum?

If I had my way, there would be no crack/patch exchange boards. BWGen costs $40. Its a good program, and they deserve the money. If you are willing to put in the long hours decompiling and analyzing the program then to some degree you can be proud of your accomplishment, though it can never mitigate the guilt of robbing the developers of the $40. Free cracks promotes lazy users.

By the way, most software nowdays has an online registration component of the registration process.  These generally are a nightmare to remove from programs (which is why they are there) and have a nasty tendency to detect a illegal patch and secretly detect whether the internet is currently available, and if so, phone home with IP address, NIC info, violation status, and the primary email address of the user of that computer (gotta love MAPI interfaces).  All this done while the user smuggly sits in his chair thinking 'Cracks are goooood!!  I'm 133t!  Woot woot!'

Hmmm...  somehow I sense that this topic shall be killed.  This is an astral forum, not a cracking forum.

Its a bad idea.  The International Space Station isn't nearly complete, has sucked somewhere between 200-500 *billion* dollars from the US economy, and once completed has an operational life expectancy of 10-15 years (before overhaul), for a operational crew of 8-12 people.

The costs of a moonbase are astronomically greater than a space station, and immeasurably more difficult.  Mars would be even greater still. Add to that there are long term risks to human existance in space, one being the decalcification of bones, where they become more and more brittle, and will break much easier. What exactly is on the Moon or Mars that justifies a multi-trillion (yes, experts have already figured out the cost) dollar investment that we don't have already when the space station is complete??

This new program of Bush is a major sop to the major military-industrial sector that contributed so heavily to his politial campaign, and to secure more votes in the upcoming election.  Do you think it coincidental that he loosened immigration controls with Mexico so close to 2004?

Well usually when I visualize, I try to do it by the book, visualize myself getting up, going to the bathroom, and combing my hair, or all the steps required for me to go outside and around the house, or running through exactly what I'll do when I OBE.  For me anything that brings attention back to my own body is a bad thing, and sexual visualization generally does just that.  Who knows, it might work for you.  As for me, I haven't RV or OBEd yet, so I'm still way behind you.

To validate the RV it wouldv'e been easier had you gotten a license plate number, along with the car color.  That can easily be verified.  A license plate alone won't work as you could guess one at random and still match a plate (there's a lot of vehicles in CA).

Thanks for your description of your astral sight as it is the kind of information I might be able to use when I get closer.
