Hi

I'm pretty new to the group, so I apologise if this is a discussion you've all had way back.

I have tried BW Gen, and I've heard of lots of people creating Wav files with frequencies to induce the vibrations, & altered states of counciousness, & it excited me at first, until I saw a warning from someone on another list, about serious potential dangers.

Is this a kind shortcut to proper energetic development, do you think, and could it therefore cause all kinds of problems, like a 14 year old lad getting into a high performance sports car??

Until I am sure of the answer to this, I for one am not going to Dabble, I am going to stick to the methods that people like Robert Bruce, & Robert Peterson advise.

What do you all think?

Hi, I have tried it, and I must admit it does do something, although I am not quite sure what, I've never listened to it yet in the right frame of mind, or at the right time, for it to have caused an OBE.

I'm not using it now though, as I am worried about the chance of this kind of a shortcut to proper energetic development, causing serious, serious problems by causing premature Kundalini.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Depersonalization and derealization disorder is :

Hmm,

To me, it doesn't feel like that, it seems to come on like the high pitched rining In the ears, that I get, suddenly & without reason, and I wouldn't associate what I have with a mental disorder caused by stress or drug use.  Never used Drugs, apart from Coffee, Tea & the odd beer, and I suppose I did have the stress of parents breaking up at the time, but I was OK with it, I didn't feel stressed to the point of a breakdown.

Did have mega sleep deprivation at the time though, come to think of it.

I hope you don't mean you feel like that becuase if you do you might have dp disorder.
I hope you don't feel the way you describe.

Hi all, I've just joined the Forum, been reading your postings, very helpful!

What do you mean by "dp disorder"??

The reason I ask, is I have been feeling the way "JustLikeThePill" described, for about 8 years. It was VERY extreme at first, I literally felt as if I wasn't here at all, like I was just looking through someone elses eyes, extremley scarey, I thought something was seriosly wrong with me mentally, although I was thinking exactly the same as always, it was just my communication with the world around me which suddenly changed.

I tried all sorts, even burning my arm with a hot spoon to try to wake myself up!

All that worked was time, although even after 8 years I am still not quite the same, and I still have spells when I suddenly revert back to feeling like I'm not really here.

I always had OBE related experience as a kid, which I only realised once I started having OBE's again within tha last year, maybe this is something to do with it?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers! :)
