OK, I would like to learn electrokenisis, but it's surprising how few decent sites there are.  I think the most interesting one I've found is one which says to meditate for half an hour and stick your fingers in an electricity socket [xx(].  If anyone could help me along here, I would be very grateful...  If you could help, please email me here.  I have MSN Messenger, AIM and YIM.

Well, I suppose most of the things in DBZ could happen, IF you were patient (or possibly stupid) and long-lived enough to sit on a mountain somewhere doing nothing but practice for about a century or so.  Personally, I think I prefer having a life. [:)]

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / AP how to??
February 11, 2004, 11:27:32
No.  If such a site does exist, then it's rubbish.  There is no "easy how to" for AP because everyone is different, thus everybody's ideal technique is different.  The BEST way to do it is to do as many other peoples' techniques as possible, and adapt the one that works best for you however it feels right to you.

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / 11:11
February 10, 2004, 13:25:45
OK, this is really wierd, but kind of useful...
This has never happened to me.  Being a rather sad kind of chap, I sometimes watch clocks for this sort of thing, but it has never happened to me randomly.  Now, a a couple of days ago, I read this topic, and EVERY TIME I think about the "11:11" effect without any outside stimulation, I know that if I look at a clock or watch, it WILL be one of those numbers.  In the first day, I thought about it 5 times: at 06:06, 10:10, 11:11, 1:11 and 3:33.  I now set my watch by it; it's always PERFECTLY correct.  The wierdest thing of all is that a Wiccan friend of mine who had been trying the N.E.W. system has also been noticing this - from the same time I had!  And she has never even heard of this!  Perhaps it's contagious? [:O]

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Seeing the future a curse?
February 07, 2004, 01:23:47
Have you ever managed to change the future?  I'm sort of interested to see if that kind of paradox is possible...

Don't be a homophobe [:(!]
#7
Homokinesis?  That would be ability to move/alter humans, not monkeys...
#8
No problem, but don't put your trust in rad-ki stuff...  Psionics were never meant for fighting, there are many better uses to which they could be put.
#9
OK...  In true Western style...

Cryokinesis: Ice-making
Pyrokinesis: Fire-making

You get the idea [8D]

volcomstone:  That's right, everybody on this site is insane, because we believe something hardly anyone else does.  The fact that it's true makes no difference...

Makoto:  Don't trust that site, because a) it's a rad-ki site and b) its makers have completely disowned it.  Their latest site is located here.

Erm... no.  You COULD do that, but if I were you, I'd make up new words rather than giving new meanings to bits and pieces of existing Latin and Ancient Greek words.

A fey is a type of blood-drinking, vampire faerie from Celtic legend... Hate to tell you this, kuro, but if you haven't just made that up out of whole cloth, someone else did.[:)]

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Cryokinesis

Do you know what you're trying to do?  To create an ice ball out of thin air is POSSIBLE, but unbelievably hard.  You're trying to do materialization.  This is quite possibly the hardest branch of psionics ever performed by a human... there are harder ones, but as far as I know, they're only theoretical.  Out of all the hundreds of people I know who do psionics (and that's a large amount, considering that, sadly, most of Earth's population doesn't even believe in it) only two people can do it.  Two.  With just about everything else, you're only manipulating energy, which has no mass.  This is... not easy, but managable.  Even with telekinesis, you're only using energy to move matter.  But CREATING matter is an entirely different story.  Try going and studying psionics in a cloister somewhere for, oh, fifteen years and you'll maybe be able to make a small one, but until then, no chance.  Before you can make ice, you need water, and more than the small amount which exists in the air; you would have to materialize it.

While we're on the subject, I'd like to just toss something in the air here... if a person was good, I mean REALLY good at materialization, wouldn't it be possible for him/her to create a new body and astral project into it?  Which would be an interesting way to achieve immortality, no?  As soon as your body gets old, just make a new one.  Maybe some time in the future.

Sorry about the length of this post, people overestimating themselves really bug me; I guess I got a little carried away.

He COULD be dead, but I don't hold with conspiracy theories, so I'd say auraseer's friend was probably just dreaming that he had an OBE.  And, um, souldn't this topic be on the Astral Projection boards?
#15
Fascinating.  A completely nutty idea, but it might work...

About two weeks, which was why I was quite surprised when TK took a month to develop.

Brainwave generator?  Can't say I've heard of it...  Mind telling me a bit more?  I'm interested...
#18
[:D] Lol.  Anyway, volcomstone, the entire content of this website is "against the laws of science", and anyone with half a brain cell knows that that's just because they haven't found all the laws yet.  Electrokinesis does exist, I can do it myself; the technique I use is incredibly simple, I just imagine electricity sparking around inside my hand.  Think of what is feels like; hear it snapping from one finger to another; look down and visualize the sparks scurrying around beneath you skin.  It's not hard.  Hydrokinesis and pyrokinesis can presumably be done, although I haven't managed pyro and I haven't even tried hydro; those two are just telekinesis on a very small scale (making molecules vibrate faster, for example).  As far as I know, biokinesis is just a theory, but I see no reason why it couldn't be done by someone who was good enough and knew enough about the human body.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Sidhis
January 29, 2004, 04:25:08
Sure, I know what you're talking about, but unless you're prepared to go and live on a mountain for ten years, forget it, pal :-)  Sidhis is a meditative state of mind only achieved with long, and I mean long practice.

Apparently, this is a very common feeling for adolescents.  Must be the hormones...

We don't even need to say this, just take a look at the witchcraft trials of the Middle Ages.  Humans never change.  They won't accept it until they understand it, and they can't understand it until they accept it.  Catch 22.  As an example, we can see that early man had less idiocy and more faith; if he'd gone around dousing fires whereever he found them because he didn't believe in them, where would we be now?  I always say, if you don't believe your eyes, whose eyes will you believe?
#22
Yes, it is real... And energy is just energy, what it does is what purpose you put it to.
#23
Because people will go to any, and I mean any length to prove that they are right, over-complicating things beyond belief.  An example:  I performed electrokinesis right in front of a person's eyes, giving him a small shock and causing a piece of paper to stick to my hand.  He believed that, prior to doing this, I rubbed my hand on a carpet to generate static.  The fact that I would have had to do this for about half an hour solid to be able to do these things one after another did not faze him in the slightest.  Another example is when I performed TK on a small pencil.  He believed that I had bored a hole in the pencil, inserted a piece of metal, and stuck the wood back in, and then had a magnet under the table.  Point proven.
#24
Yeah, that's true, sorry...  but I don't see why mods can't just go around deleting DBZ posts... they would delete a post with swearing or something, DB should just be given the same sort of priority.  DB posters should be warned and have the offending post(s) deleted.

Psi/Chi/Ki/Qi balls etc. aren't DBZ related, except to idiotic prats who believe everything they see on television - and in a CARTOON!  If we can't post about that sort of thing here, where can we?  What ought to be done is to keep the Energy forum, and have a DBZ forum.  Then, if a post even MENTIONS DB, DBZ, DBGT, etc., etc. outside of that forum, it should be deleted.  It should be one of the things moderators look for, along with swearing and that.  That way, everybody gets to discuss the thing they want to, without little kids going around pretending to kamehameha everyone on the forums, which is indeed incredibly annoying.  But we do need an energy forum, or somewhere we can post about psi, psionics, etc.  It should also be made abundantly clear that DB is FICTION, and has little or no connection with real psi.  Maybe if it was added to the licence agreement that people should only use each forum for its designated topic.  Also, there should be an "Off-Topic" forum for things that don't fit into any of the forums.
