I was paralyzed this morning during sleep I became lucid, and not awake and not sleeping. I was paralyzed and was moving around loosening from my physical body.

My physical arms were loosley crossed not too close together, but my astral arms became free wile the rest of my body was still in place. I begam trying to turn around in circular motions in my astral to further loosen from my physical and then woke up a little later, I believe because of fear.

It shocked me when I tried to move my arms and couldn't because my astral arms had come completely loose.

This morning, I had an interesting AP in a Lucid Dream. I was dreaming and then realized I was dreaming in my dream so I tried projecting and I "fell" out of my body. It was like I dropped to the floor. I felt like I was a sphere, and my legs and arms went limp and i was struggling on the floor. Later, I got going a little...

Then I insisted on testing to see if it was real by yelling or trying to get the attention of my roomate in another room by yelling really loud, however, I don't remember the response. Then, to try to get attention, I was in my roomates room (i think) and in my dream threw an alarm clock onto the floor.

I'm not sure, I didn't ask my roomate about anything. So I don't really know.

Has anyone heard of a technique for OBEs where one would look in the mirror at themselves for a long period of time chanting their name?

Does anyone have any techniques involving mirrors that they would like to share?

I'm interested in hearing anything that have to do with mirrors.

Thanks :)

The only thing that I can offer, is that I know exactly how it feels to be up against a brick wall on this, because when I first started, it took me a couple of months before I had my first OBE, and I was trying frequently.

The only thing that I can offer, is to keep at it, and don't worry about the night sleeping thing, just go for it all of the time, every day. Also, start telling your self to remember your dreams and that you will realize when you are dreaming. Reality checks may help. Constant reality checks that carry on into your subconcious, so even when you are sleeping, you will ask yourself the question and become lucid.

Keep at it, keep your mind clear, keep the affirmations going, as that is important as well. Keep your mind saturated with the subject, and be persistent. Then, when you least expect it, it will happen.....

Hope to help,

Just recently, I tried starving myself for over 24 hours. No food, or water.

As soon as I layed down, I started feeling heavy vibrations. It became easy for me to go into a subsequent lucid dream.

I'm going to try it again but it seemed to be very helpful. Just thought I'd share.

don't feel alone in that, I have had several of those, where I dreamed I had an OBE.
