No not all of it, you have to leave some to fate. Your thoughts create your reality, changing your thinking changes your reality, so in essence you create your reality. But not absolutely, I wouldn't take it much further than that.

Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / Psychics

"Psychic" is a loose term really, focus on your third eye and you will learn to become psychic if you have the will to be.

Welcome to Dreams! / My Dream
May 22, 2005, 10:27:29
I have the same dream over and over again often, it happens with different dreams though. Sometimes they even finish one night only to continue from where they left off the next. I don't know what it means.

I'm almost 100% sure that you can become a psychic, starting to work on your energy body often brings latent psychic abilites that you already have to the surface.

I had a friend who was really into this. I read somewhere that the main line says something about when you will die, the longer the better I heard. I don't know what the other lines mean, some people can really tell a lot about you though just by reading your palm, its interesting whether it is accurate or not though.

Welcome to Dreams! / How much do dreams last?
May 07, 2005, 08:22:29
Why would we remember them as colourful if they are black and white?

I don't think they last less than a minute, I have had dreams for 2-3 hours last under a minute(real time) and dream for a few minutes last for hours(real time). That's just from personal experience though.

Where'd you get that info from btw?

I think people go to some part of the astral after death... Isn't the astral better? Less rules ;)... Unless you get sent to hell.

I saw this a few weeks back on Astral Dynamics. One reason I think this is a good thing is because there will be a wider view than before, rather than just focusing on only techniques by Robert Bruce.

However many topics by Robert Bruce have been provided useful information, and it will be sad if it is no longer provided here, but rather elsewhere.

Jza, I also got the same impression, but I felt that it was really the "marketing", not the actual book itself. Anyhow, I hope Robert Bruce still posts his insight here even if he does start up his own forum.

Thanks

I can blur my vision too, but I never used to be able to. Is that how you "charge" your eyes?

Oh ok thanks.

Quote from: DonnaI often simply go into alternate states of conciousness without the help of the tapes. Though I learned that the connection that is formed between the right and left hemespheres of the brain with using the tapes is permanent. So once having used the tapes for the prescribed "time" they are no longer necessary. I was careful to use them as prescribed by Monroe Institute to gain this permanent bridge between the spheres of my brain.

Really, I want to be able to achieve this "permanent connection".

Up until now, I was just using brainwave files whenever I was in the mood, not in any particular routine that was prescribe to actually balance the left and right hemispheres.

Hi Fric, welcome to the Astral Pulse

In my opinion spirituality is fundamentally the study of that which occurs outside of common, normal reality. I think it is really only a belief system if that is what you make it.

A broader reality can be known if it is experienced directly. Unlike religion which is based on faith and belief, spirituality is based on direct experience. You can experience the astral directly, for example. Spiritual Knowledge in itself if only read and not applied may turn into a belief system, but this is only because the knowledge was used in the wrong way. If instead of trying to conceptualize works by authors such as Robert Bruce and experiencing the spiritual phenomena in itself it is no longer just a belief system.

Instead of knowing by belief it is better to know by experience. But if no-one writes about their experiences there will be no signposts for those who are looking.

Quote from: FricI mean, Robert says "Look, what you see in the astral depends on your view of things, on your thoughts and mood. Lets try to keep an open mind so we can see the whole picture." But  then, he goes on to actually give a very definite structure of things! An structure, we are told, that is the result of open minded non biased observation.

Also regarding this, when we look at the physical world, the view of things depends on your thoughts and mood. But there is still a structure to the physical world nonetheless isn't there?

Where can one buy the CD "set" mentioned at the start of this topic?

I don't think you can get hurt. Maybe remembering that will reduce your fears and anxiety.

Hmm maybe I'm just not searching hard enough and the threads I am looking for are there, but I cannot find them. Although there was one specific thing that I will send you a PM about...

Thanks

This thread is to say thank you to Frank for making his phasing newsletter available for us to read.

I have already subscribed and signed up for my mum and my girlfriend, who would never normally go near this kind of stuff unless it was orientated by scientific concepts.

I also think it is a great idea to explain it using basic archetypes to achieve a certain experience rather than shooting at targets with a blindfold by regarding each experience as absolutely unique.

Thanks! The info in the first e-mail sounds like it will be a great newsletter. It is also great that it is free. And good luck to you Frank with the development of this when you publish your book or do seminars, I think it has an excellent chance of being successful.

Yes... I kind of view it as a bit of a detriment though because reality that feels like a dream make you feel less alive and nothing seems to impact you anymore, it's as if you are sleeping through life, I have gone through periods of feeling completely dead in the last few months. Although I don't know if this is what ninjaknight is referring to, rather than seeing it as psychosis I see it more as losing touch with reality on a particular level.

Thanks for your understanding. :)

Ok. I respect the actual decisions and I am not discussing the actions. I think it would be ok to suggest that Astral Pulse add a certain feature to the forums like a new image, forum or whatever... I wasn't scrutinizing the actions, just making a suggestion that threads that are deleted are labelled deleted. The suggestion, like any doesn't have to be considered, but as runlola said many members would find it useful, and imo it would increase the overall usability of the forums.

I feel like I am dreaming during the day. It is not psychosis but it feels as though I am expecting to "wake up". Nothing seems to feel real. I use brainwave mp3s too but I don't know if that has any connection to it or not.

I was wondering, why the deletion/editing of posts by moderators is not documented.

I often spend hours looking for a particular thread and cannot locate it.

Many of the threads I am referring to didn't break or even impose on the AUP.

I know that you have the right and choice to delete whichever threads you want, and I'm fine with that, but something like "deleted" placed over the thread would be nice so people don't spend hours on end looking for something that was pulled from the server in the first place.

Astral Pulse is one of the more open minded communities that I visit, and I don't see why threads need such heavy moderation. But still, I am merely wondering whether the moderation can be documented if only to save people from going crazy hopelessly searching through the whole database over and over...

Thanks

From my understanding, to somewhat reinforce what stephen said:

Astral Projection is projecting into the astral using the astral body.

OBE is projecting into the ethereal, astral, mental, causal or any other sub-plane besides the physical.

So OBE is just a broader term, and not so fixed to the 'astral'.

Welcome to Permanent Astral Topics! / Drugs
April 29, 2005, 07:46:03
Brainwave files entrain your brain, to the best of my knowledge they do not hinder your natural potential.

I have read that people often project naturally when in hospital and given certain sedatives or drugs.

I'm not sure if drugs make it easier to project in the future (from what I have heard it is easier in future once you have left the body the first time), but I wouldn't take them just for the sake of projecting. If I was already using something like this I would use it as a "push" and then try to do it without depending on anything, like with brainwave files.

Btw redcatherine, I was was following your thread with Robert Bruce about Kundalini and someone asked me about it last night, and I was looking for it for almost an hour and finally gave up. I can't recall in which forum it was posted, do you have a link to it?

Thanks
