I also want to say that after this initial experience the OBE's and Astral projections were quite amazing and vivid.  A search of some of my earlier posts will testify to this.  I stopped meditation after this and the energy faded in time which is common.  I do feel that once this is energy raises your will be permanently changed with a more spiritual outlook on the world.  Over the last two years since stopping meditation I have not experienced nearly as vivid lucid dreams of OBE, but for the last two weeks I have been attempting to work with my Chakra's and raise Kundilini and my dreams are becoming much more vivid again.

Kundilini is the source of all OBE's.  They say that stress can inadvertently cause the raising of the Kundilini energy.  After coming back from a war zone I had every symptom of extreme combat fatigue.   My desire through meditation was to just focus, relax and try to balance myself both physically and emotionally. I had never heard of Kundilini energy four years ago when I started experiencing what I have now discovered was a rising of the Energy Body and the Chakra system.  I was meditating one night while lying on my back and experienced what was like white balls of energy that hit my fore head.  After this I had panic attacks that caused me to have to enter the hospital once as I had a resting heart rate of 170.  When I would close my eyes for months later I would see white, also all the associated buzzing noises associated with OBE attempts and vibrations.  Some nights the energy was so intense I would have to get out of bed and get into my car just to drive around the block a few times.  All my readings lately of the body's energy system point directly to raising kundilini will cause OBE's.  This has been known for thousands of years.  Mr. Robert Bruce energy raising techniques he calls New Energy Ways is talking about the same body's energy system that the Chakra's control.

I have discovered that if I focus on my breathing and take some deep breaths in an attempt to increase my energy level I can roll out to my left off the bed.  I just try to distance myself from my body at that point. 

When I am asleep and unconscious I have no fear because I am unconscious.  What I am referring to is becoming aware I am dreaming and many times become as conscious as being awake.  The environment is full of people and wildlife and in fact a whole world.  Sometimes I interact with individuals, ask questions even.  I have never met anyone that produced fear in me.  I just at some point begin to speculate I could have possibly died while sleeping and need to find out.  I kind of feel like if there is actually life after death that someone will come up to me and I will be told I do not get to return this time. 

For sake of argument I am going to call the OBE or Astral Projection a Lucid Dream.  Most people here it seems are trying to learn to experience Astral Projection.  My question is of recent I have been able to extend the experience for about 5 minutes in real time.  In the past after I phased or realized I was Lucid dreaming I awaken directly or would be able to have the experience last about 1 minute.  My normal way to awaken would be to do a type "I Dream of Jeanie" nod to awaken.  I guess it is just a natural progression that over time a person who is developing this ability will be able to extent the experience.  As of recent however it seems the longer I let the experience go the harder it is to wake.  I would be thankful for any suggestions anyone has that they use to end this.  I have long had a fear of getting stuck. 

I was wondering how many forum members are now involved in physical paranormal investigation due to there OBE experiences.  To me investigation seems to validate the OBE experience through photographs, video and evp's taken around people attempting OBE.  I always believed in the paranormal world but have noticed a definite increase in activity around me since actively attempting astral projection the past few years.  Personally I believe the astral is simply a parallel dimension existing alongside us.  I have been able to get apparitions, orbs, voices and video easily.  there are thousands are teams doing the same all over the world.  Just GOOGLE it.

I have some success after working a 12 hour night shift.  I will arrive home completely exhausted and can fall asleep in about two minutes.  I think this can help in phasing as I can actually observe myself falling asleep quickly and see the images form.  Sometimes I can phase into them but most times just fall asleep.  I think this is partly why I have some success at AP.  Years in the military standing night watches and years in the civilian world working two full time jobs with overtime. 

I remember when I was a child I saw a scary movie about a house that was haunted.  The women in the movie would lay in bed at night and the wall paper would begin to form faces.  I would have to bury my head under the blanket at night when I stayed at my grandparents home as thay had wall paper like was in the movie.  There is a recent movie that has a good depliction of scrying.  Get the movie 'Cold Mountain'  In the movie Nicole Kidman looks down into a well and sees the images of a fast moving bird and the man she is in love with coming toward her that scares her.  Really good movie.

I have discovered that if I can get some deep breaths while attempting to seperate I can get into the RTZ with clarity.  That is if my focus even reminds me to get the deep breaths.  If I get out I first try to be away from my body and outside the house.  Like TalaNay says is true for me also that if I attempt to go through the roof I always fail and return to body. I tried two days ago while out the OBE command "Now I go to the next level", however I simply faltered and and awoke in body.  If you ever seen the movie Gladiator where he dies in the end and pushes the gate open to enter the Astral.  I have had my best Astral projections creating a door and then going through.  The door seems to push me away from my subjective creation environment and a more objective environment.  Good luck.

Hello everyone.  I have not completely left the forum but have just been lurking about reading the posts the last seven or eight months.  I thought I would await something noteworthy before posting again. 

For some reason one day two weeks ago I had several really startling phasing experiences while lying on my stomach.   I phased several times into an unknown environment by a city and stayed for a few minutes to awake unintentionally with vibrations and then re phase back.  At one point I came down to the ground after observing a city in the distance.  There were two Hispanic males sitting on a park bench. I immediately had the clarity to get some validation and asked the younger one where I was.  He told me "West Huntington New Jersey" The second one told me the same.  I have since looked on the internet and can not find the place in N.J but not far away in N.Y. there is.  I have never been there and it seems odd my mind would come up with this.  I was thinking perhaps they were confused. 

The reason for this post tonight however is the most interesting phasing ever.  I was lying on my back after awaking about 2 a.m.  My head felt very heavy and I felt like I could see some movement in my bedroom.  I was attempting to just watch and images that would appear in my minds eye and it was almost as if the field of vision just appeared as if a movie started out of the darkness of my blackened bedroom.  The vision came with complete brightness and glowing colors and I entered an environment that appeared to be a wood home that was to be somewhere in Asia complete with a host of inhabitants.  The clarity of the vision was startling and it was as if I was awake walking through the house in the physical.  I touched objects completely fascinated as I knew this was in an Astral Projection.  The clarity was not as if partly blurry but just as clear as sitting here at the keyboard writing.  I also felt as if I could have stayed as long as I desired. 

I do not know for certain if I was in a so called F3 environment or F2 with overlay as Frank would say.  I was actually in this house for what I would guess ten minutes.  I did encounter one person I recognized as the Australian Steve Irwin sitting in a recliner laughing and he said hi to me.  I became a little frightened at this point a willed myself back.  I would be interested if anyone knows weither Mr. Irwin ever traveled to Bali or liked vacationing in Asia.

There was also a homicide on the Florida Turnpike a few days ago with four people killed.  I work for the Turnpike and the case is of interest to the employees here.  The people killed were a man and a woman and two children and left on the side of the road.  After phasing back I attempted to get a description through a phasing vision as the incident little facts are known.  I saw a black vehicle with a man in late thirties who was Hispanic and related to these people.  I could not make out the tag but it did not appear to be from Florida.  It has been confirmed on the local news tonight the vehicle was black and had a temporary tag but I need to wait until the suspect is caught to see if I was right about him.   

I would love to post it but it is on Sony Camcorder magnetic tape.  I guess I will have to take it to have it copied to disk and formatted to a mode that can be downloaded to a hosting site.  I have been searching over the internet for a couple years of ORB video and have never seen anything like it.  The ORB I have is shaped like a soda can, bright on each end and transparent in the middle and actually changes form and reacts to my dog coming near it.  It is also accompanied with EVP.  If anyone knows how I can download this please E-Mail me.  The video have just been collecting dust since 2004.  After capturing this video I have not tried since as I really began to believe I was making contact with something I did not understand.

I use to get sleep paralysis lying on deck of a Navy tugboat at Long Beach Naval shipyard in California during lunch periods.  This is before I knew anything about OBE. In the two years I was aboard we never underwent a degaussing so we could have had a high degree of magnetism over the hull.  Sleep paralysis is not the type thing people talk about in general social setting so perhaps more sailors do experience it.  I never gave too much thought to it as I discovered that by closing my eyes (if in fact the eyes are really open during Paralysis) it would cease and I would wake normally right away.  I have never had an OBE or Astral Projection until I moved into my current home in Florida.  I have had several paranormal researchers at my home and there Tri Field EMF meters are all Very High in reading.  The people that came to my home seem to believe EM causes sleep paralysis and OBE due to the large amount of investigations they do where clients report sleep paralysis and the EM field reading are extriemely high.  My personal belief is that spirits can manipulate the EM fields in an attempt to communicate.  I know a lot of people believe the so called ORBS are just dust but I have video where one actually interacts with me for 45 seconds in my back yard as I view it in infrared.  I think I read somewhere in a post recently that there are actually area of the brain that contain a type crystalline substance that EM can effect.  There is probably someone here who knows more on this area and can shed more insight.

I just wanted to post also Stone.  The experience was really amazing to read and thanks. Good validation for the forum readers. I think there is something to the Door to get from the F2 to F3 realm.  The most amazing Astral Projection I ever had I entered through a double door. I did not imagine the door it simply appeared after I was pulled backwards into the sky above my house.  I read of the OBE command "Now I go to the next level" to achieve F3 but I think if you are lucid in F2 imagining a door will be the entrance to F3.  Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading more of your posts.

The video is on magnetic tape in the infrared.  This has been very frustrating for me as I have inquired several times on the TAPS forum for advice as to how to download it and have not got any response.  I have even offered to mail it through the post office to anyone willing to download it.  As it is it just collects dust in my bedroom closet.  I really feel this will put and end to the ORBS are dust controversy. I do not believe they are, at the very least they are Spirit or some type EM energy field.  If anyone can give me advice how to download this to any site where I can create a link here I would be very thankful. I would also mail it to anyone willing to do this.  I will just make a copy for my own records and off it goes.  I want to keep it as I will be moving to San Antonio Texas next year and will join a Ghost hunting group there and I know they will be interested to see it.  Also sorry for the time delay in responding to this post as my home computer is not working now and I have to post at work.

I get this effect sometimes just as I am awakening.  I thought it was referred to as a type remote viewing.  I do not know how to control it though.  I have tried to enter the screen several times but have not been successful.  If you have ever seen time lapse photography, say of the clock in Grand Central station where you seen a whole days events in five minutes with the clock hand running fast and people zipping back and forth, well I have seen this type on the screen effect and one of the best was of a building that seems to have passed several thousand years of architectural design changes while I watched. It was like something out of the Time Machine movie.  I can also observe people on the street but am unable to focus my vision close enough to get a street sign.  Sometimes the people will even come up close and look at me as if they are looking at the screen.

I captured a very good can shaped ORB in my back yard that did interact with me for about one minute until my German Shepherd barked and it passed my left side.  Actially it is the best I have ever seen even on all the sites I have looked at on the internet.  Very well defined and structured and not like all the quick moving energy ORBS I see on line. It was also the same location where several groups that have been at my home seem to head as there equipment leads them to this spot.  I have never seen an ORB while OBE but have encountered several Astral People in my home.  It was positioned about one foot off the ground and came toward me and backed off several times.  It was transparent in the middle and glowed on each end.  I would say it was actually about the size of a can.  I could not see it outside the viewfinder on the camera.  It actually seemed to change shape almost like a distortion in space itself.  Also after reviewing the tape I picked up two class A EVP as me and the dog first entered my back yard that says my dogs name in a loud whispering voice. Actually one very good paranormal researcher that has been at my house several times seems to believe that the abnormal EMF fields I have there are do to Spirit and that somehow they can manipulate these fields to cause Sleep Paralysis and OBE.

Attempting to capture on the Sony Night shot is a very good idea.  The infrared function works very well in complete darkness.  That is the reason that many paranormal research groups use them and capture so many anomalies and orbs.  All you really need is a tripod.  The audio on the night shot is excellent so you can capture anything you are saying.  I have tried this a few times but could not Astral Project on any attempt.  For some reason I myself am uncomfortable viewing myself sleeping as I get a lot of EMF and orb activity in my home.  I would suggest also that anyone successful in Astral Projecting using this idea should pay close attention to any unfamiliar voices(EVP) that might be there.  This is a very good Idea however and I am going to get some tapes and try it again as this post has re sparked my interest in this. Webcams do have Night Shot of paranormal locations so you can get an idea of what you can exspect to see in your attempts.

The Government used Ft. Meade Md. as one training base for soldiers training to remote view.  The project was called Stargate if I recall correctly.  Also there was one Officer that was in the program that dropped out after the Pam Am flight crashed over Lockerbie Scotland. He said after projecting there he encountered many of the spirits of the just departed and it really freaked him out.  I also read the book Above Top Secret and the Air Force soldier was not informed he was in communication with Astral beings but communicating with Alien Beings.  He was also informed that he had the ability to use the equipment on a psychic level as he was abducted as a child.  He dose describe the layout of the base correctly as I was there. I kind of suspected he might have just been misinformed if the story is true.     Well there goes my military pention.

So suicide is what, a permanent solution to a temporary problem?   What MJ-12 said is true that life is basically hard.  I have spent many days sitting and listening to people talk about there problems and regrets.  Many people take the easy step to drink and use drugs to mask the hurt and fear of life.  Alcohol I call liquid sunshine because no matter how dark the day seemed the sun always came out after that first drink.  You have to begin to feel comfortable in your own skin.  Try joining the Boy Scouts or doing volunteer work at a local hospital.  Get a dog and start jogging.  I still have many days where I would like to just get drunk and forget about things but life can be nice also.  I had my best friend commit suicide about three years ago.  The ones left were hurt the most, his daughter and mother and brothers.   As to what happened to him afterwards I can not be certain but have theories that he regretted the decision to end his life.  I read a story once about a young man who was having drug problems and decided to hang himself in his parent's back yard while they were out.  Well he did and exited his body through the top of his head and all his attempts to get back in failed.  He then had to stand and cry in the yard as his parents returned and found him.

Anyone saw the movie "The Jacket".  The main character is in a mental institution and is repeatedly put into a straight jacket and put into a morgue body storage container.  The character then starts Astral Projecting into the future gathering info and returning all the while knowing his body is in the morgue.  I will not give any more of the plot away but it is a fascination movie but very dark in nature.

If you are interested in seeing what it is like then watch the movie "Solaris".  There are several scenes in which George Clooney talks with his diseased wife with a type Astral communication.  It's really fascinating and is just how I communicate there.

This is strange but I was actually watching people eating pepperoni pizza this morning before awakening that was sprinkled with powered sugar.  I have not ever heard of this and have been thinking about this several times today before reading this post.  Does anyone like pizza like this?  If I hear not responses "Yes" I will no be surprised.  Thanks.

Swimming dreams are the wildest ones I have but they are all semi lucid.  I had decided to use these dreams as a trigger to alert me to become lucid but for some reason it never occurs.  The colors are absolutely fantastic and practically indescribable.  The members here will know what I mean though.  It is as if the colors radiate out of the creatures and scenery like Christmas lights.  Also I do not have to always be in the water for this incredable light effect, sometimes on the water on a ship will cause this too.

This was talked about and displayed in the movie "What the bleep do we know" as the main character in the film was touring an art gallery she came upon the display.
