I have isomnia my hole life, but it has never bugged me. My body has always lived off little sleep, but when I dream, I get premonitions of the future. I used to sleep deeply but as I got older I am now a light sleeper and sometimes its like I am not even really alseep at all when I am. I have tried pills and such, but they just screw me up. Found that I just cope better dealing with it. However if and when I really need sleep to heal and such, I can sleep along time, its really weird. Doubt this helps much, but hope it does.

I have been having this weird reoccurring dream about how I have to find pieces of this magical sword and then forge it together. Then supposedly by doing so, it is the necessary tool I need to start my adventure to fullfil my destiny that was chosen for me and is soon to be played out. Got any ideas what it is all about? thanks.

Bush is evil and there is no way around that. He really doesn't care about the average person and he does more to harm them than good.  All he cares about is big businesses and making his friends happy, and making the common man and woman weaker. Terrorism will never be stopped by a president. He can claim whatever he wants, but its really the people of the country that do it. He's all cozy and protected in his house while the common man is out protecting his country, but who gets credit for it all, not the person that shed his blood, but the person that did nothing but rant. Funny how society is. The world just doesn't work the way we try to hold onto any more.  Someone needs to rise up and light the way to the future and end big cooperate people that ruin everything. At least that is my opinion

I too have a prediction that things are only going to get worse with Bush. I don't know if he starts it but there is going to be more war and a possible revolution/uprise in the US. People are tired of the way things are and I think soon that people will finally wake up out of the brainwash of the multi-billion dollar, lets rape you for every thing you got industry.  As for how soon this all happens, I don't know just a gut feeling and I am usually right. However I do know things are only going to get worse for a while. Not good times to live in.

Another theory being looked at is that Atlantis might have been part of South America when the tides where higher. I watch it on the discovery science channel like 6 months ago, it was pretty interesting. The guy was trying to prove some of the ancient ruins that were unexplained where part of Atlantis and he was trying to prove it by finding all the nations that were said to be a part of Atlantis.  Its a hard subject to work off of. All you have to really go by was a Greek poem that was passed on and on before it got written so the facts probably got some added imagination in there plus the translations always lose some meaning.  Hope that adds some more info.

I don't totally understand everything or why I am here, but I do know that it is almost like my destiny that I have one major accomplishment to give to man kind before I go. It is what has kept me alive even when I wanted to give up. Although it's a strange feeling, I know what I have to and will do but I don't at the same time.  I also think I was put here to help others, I was given the gift to listen on many levels to help people out and release them of their pain. In any case I will do some good and make this world a better place one stone at a time.

I was wondering if anyone else has done something simular to this. Well During getting ready for my wedding with all the grooms men I had a discussion with my friend and was like you need to just get rid of your house and well I didn't know it at the time but a vision of fire in his house came up. So I was like or better yet let it burn down in a joking matter. I never thought anything of it because I was too distracted with the wedding and then honeymoon. Well When I got back, his garage cought on fire with a electrical shortage in the waterheater. Most of his house is ok. However I do feel bad because I think I could have stopped it. Then again who would believe me if I said hey your garage is going to catch on fire soon. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else has had something like that were it pops in your head and you joke about something, then it happens and you feel a bit of stupid, regretting you couldnt stop it, and all that crappy stuff?

Probably the wrong area for this post but I will shoot anyways. Have any of you ever known that you had to do something important in your life, like you had a destiny? I dont really believe in destiny, but I can see the future. Now when I was little and had a bad bad childhood of abuse and stuggling to live, I wanted to give up, but I had a vision that I had to accomplish something in my life that affects all humanity around when I was 25 before I could leave this life and move onto the next. Now back then I knew more it seems like what I had to do and I survived through everything because I knew I had to accomplish this one deed. I since then have kind of forgotten what it was. It's like of like my visions of the future I know I have seen it before because I remember it in a deja vu sense but can't remember all the details till it happens. I do get clearer visions and totally remember them too, but there are so many I don't, my whole life is one big deja vu now. I know the bare minimum, like its around when I am 25 and it affects alot of people but I don't know the path. Anyone else have had an experiance like this or know how I could reach a better understanding of it? It almost seems like Neo in the matrix movies where he has glimpses of what is to come but doesn't know or understand the path which he must choose if that explains it more.

I was wondering if I am the only one or if this happens to other people. First off I see the future two different ways. It either comes in a dream form weither I am awake or not and I get alot of deja vu. The other is like warning visions right before something bad happens. What I have been getting lately is I don't know if I am too preoccupied with other things on my mind or what, but I totally don't pay attention or forget the meaningful things of what I see. For example my friend got almost rapped and killed. She called up my fiance and said she was driving a stranger home, right away I got a vision in my head of her getting strangled and thought nothing of it, well it happened but luckily she was ok. Next time was with my new truck, I saw that I got it in a dream a while back and when I went to think about getting a new truck I go I have seen this before, but seemed to forget the part where I got screwed on the interest rate, if I would have remembered that I would have said no. Then today at work I got like a prevision about going over this crossing in the work truck that I would get stuck, but I was too distracted and did it anyways. They are a few other things, however those are what stick in my mind the most. Sometimes my gifts seem more like curses. However I am so used to them it would be hard to live without them. Anyways is this just a me thing or do you have the same problem? Also any ideas on how to I guess be more one with my visions would help too. Thanks and sorry if it is long.

Maybe I am a little more sensative then others to the world, but I was wondering if anybody else feels the same? For me it bugs and hurts me to see what we have become and how we slowly kill the enviroment and seems like no one cares enough to change. You go outside and all you see is pollution. If you are in a big city you try to see stars but few are there. We rid our planet of fossil fuels when we could be using effective and better alternative sources. We slowly take over all the natural enviroments. We kill beautiful creatures that are becoming extinct because we believe it makes us better in bed. You try to speak change and you get laughed at. So you work a crappy job day in and day out just to buy goodies you are brainwashed to buy and you work, sleep and get up to do it again. All because we are told to live this way. We throw away tons of trash and instead of getting rid of it or recycling it we put it in a hole in the ground and cover it up. We have lost our uniqueness. Our desire to explore and find the unkown has been turned into a desk job with fake lights that drain your energy away. For me it seems like we work and slave away for someone else's fortune. I try to find what I want to do in this world as a carrer and nothing seems to fit. It's all about cooperations sucking the life out of us. I think it is time for us to change and evolve society into something else, what does everyone else think?

My whole life I have had empathic abilites, premonitions, especially warning visions, deja vu, and little background whispers that sometimes turn into voices. At first I thought everything was coincidences, but then stuff would happen like I told people Bush was going to get elected and cause a war. I don't know how I knew Bush.

Sure enough Bush was elected, then 911 and the Iraq war. I blew everybodys minds. I tried to go to some people for help, but I had to join their religion/cult and my soon to be marriage meant nothing to them. I had to be devoted to do anything for it, and that wasn't for me.

The only thing the people did tell me is that I am supposively a true empath and very rare. Anyway, I was wondering is there any way to control these, or make them happen more.

Also, like the whispers of people, or thoughts turning into voices rather then just back ground noise? Also is what I see set in stone like I am told or can I change things. I hate seeing what I supposively can't change and sometimes seems like I can't no matter how much I try. Any ideas would help, thanks.

I have dreams all the time that come true. Tell people about them all the time and they go nah and then it comes true. Or I will have strange dreams and wake up and be like why the hell was I so ticked off at that person and who is it. Then I will see that person and it all comes into place exactly how my dream was. Sometimes I have dreams and either I don't understand it well or its kind of warpped with just the basics in it. Like I had a dream before the first time the second bush got elected, that he would get elected, an attack on our country would be made and a big war would errupt in the middle east and I got drafted or somehow ended up in it. Told this to all my friends and its all slowly came true. It also scared them how accurate it all was. The only that hasn't come true and don't want it to is for me going to war, but if things play out and on one volunteers, they may have to draft next year, so our city papper says. I get this alot though its like most of the time I have seen it already. I know there are studies saying its the mind playing a deja vu trick, however when you can say something before it happens or I get a vision minutes,hours, days before hand of something happening, its definately visions of the future and not something else.

I hear other people's thoughts all the time. Sometimes whispers I can't make out and other times I am dead on and shock people. Is that considered hearing voices outside the head? lol

I agree, sounds like a nightmare to me. Although it wouldnt surprise me if one day we do become extinct.

I agree with volcomstone, you really need not to buy books, this forum has great resources. The forum is a great place to get first hand advice, rather then scrolling through a book or resources online. But everything is on this site that you would need. Check out the N.E.W. like volcomstone said or Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics, is a good book if you like the text book.

I have never been able to communicate back, however went by a ghosts grave and felt a touch and had a waking vision of how he died. Then the rest of the day everyone I was around, I would get images of random crap that was in their head and past things that had happened. Weird stuff.

I have visions of the future on a regular basis. It seems like dejavu in a way to me at first but as I get to concentrating better on what I see all the time it is less deja vu and more I saw this before. I have never had dizziness for precognative abilities to see the future. However my empathic abilities have become so overwhelming that it makes me dizzy and the feeling of being drained. So I am thinking it could be what smileyspirit said.

I have had this problem too. My parents are Catholic and told my I was full of it for the abilities I have. However the whole book of revelations in the bible is written from visions and also it talks about jesus having visions, so why can't other people right? It's like everyone else has said believe what you want and if the church people tell you different, then they are ignorant. For instance I had to do this pre wedding council thing through this guy so my wifes parents church would wed us seems that was the only condition and they were going to do it for free. Well my wife told him well he has gifts in this convo we were having and I told him I have visions of the future and telepathic abilities and he was in so disbelief right away and was asking if I do drugs. I was like no and I was like hey its all over the bible of people having visions and telepathy and I can't and well I got him there.

What kind of monitor is it?  A regular tube type or flat lcd screen? I have also seen things like that happen, but do not know if it is a third eye.

I find that telepathy is a hard thing to control. It's hard to explain I hear the thoughts and emotions all the time as a background wisper. But I can't control what thoughts, images, etc come to me.

I was wondering is it possible to be born with your third eye open? If not I did something when I was really little because I can remember as far back as 4 having things happen like preminitions and other psychic abilities.

Yeah I can definately relate to christian parents not believing I had psychic abilities and can see the future. In my opinion from what I have learned is you are not free to experiance life unless you have an open mind and go out and experiance things and the truths that are out there for yourself. At least that is what I think if you are shallow and closed, you don't experiance life to the fullest.

What I have experianced in my short life time of 23 years is that in the bible people where psychic and have visions of the future. However if you tell a modern day christian this, they will laugh at you and ask you if you have been taking drugs. That is one of the many reasons why I never fallowed the religion I was baptised in which was chatholic. All my life I was told if couldn't happen, yet I just knew things about people they never tell me, and see visions of the future that I can predict happens. Anyways to answer your question if you fallow the bible, espeically the new testiment and Jesus's path, you will see many areas of psychic abilities. People didn't fallow Jesus's teachings the way he wanted them to. At least that is my experiance in life and what I have read, learned and seen. Just like every religion the teachings are there and valid, just the meaning is lost and wars and hate happen in the name of the religion. Hope that helps.
