Thanks for the warm greetings!

I've had many oobe during sp. Some nights it feels like I can stay in the sp state for ever. I'm paralysed, initiate an oobe or lucid dream, manage to stay in it for a while and then return to sp, over and over again. And, yes, toe gymnastics is the best way to wake up for real. All other movements feel unsure, but the toes are real.

I'm not sure what to think about oobe. I'm not "spiritual" at all. But atleast I think it's fun :)

Hi there,

I was looking over the internet for a place to discuss these matters. And this forum seems to be the only one where you can make a joke about the matters without having a holy crystal shoved up your fanny.

I'm 32 years old, and I had my first OOBE experiences ten years ago. When it first occured, three times within a week, I had no idea of what was going on. I was taking a nap with my one year old son and experienced sleep paralysis. The first time I was just paralysed, but it wasn't that scary as it happened at the midle of the day. The second time I struggled to get/wake up and rolled off the bed. When I opened my eyes, I was still in bed. The third time I "stayed" in bed, played with "ghost movement" - I rolled, made pushups and everything I could think of, knowing that it was not real. Then it took four years or so before it happened again. I had then almost forgotten about my old experience. However, I did some searches on the internet, learnt about sleep paralysis and, of course, ended up on some forums where they were discussing OOBE. Every time I took a nap, I managed to wake up paralysed. I hovered around in the appartment and even tried to leave it a couple of times (always ended up dreaming).

Currently I wake up during sleep paralysis once or twice a month. Some times I just decide to wake up, other times a play around for a while. The last couple of times I've actually (believe it or not) watched porn on a tv that only exists in my "dream world" when I wake up paralysed. I sit up in my bed, and there's a tv on the wall.

I'm not sure if this stuff classifies as lucid dreaming or OOBE, but I find it very interesting.

I've never had any "scary" experiences. I see images and scenes, very realistic, every night when I'm about to fall asleep. When I wake up during sleep paralysis I always hear a loud buzzing sound. I can "fall down" into sleep paralysis when I wake up in the night or morning by finding/focusing on this buzzing sound - It's not the regular background noise, more of a high pitch tune at first.

Well, that's about it. I'm a swede, so you must excuse my bad language.
